We have been in business since 1980 and have 60+ years of combined sales and installation experience. We are very knowledgeable about the flooring products we sell for use and performance. Everything went well. The guys in the showroom were great. The team leader , Tray, came , measured and followed up with a quote. The installer, Miguel, worked neat and quickly. I love my new floors !!

Trey's team did a wonderful job AGAIN. This is the third time we have asked them to come help us. They were in and out in a day and did a wonderful job with the installation and the carpet was top quality. They have more skin in the game than Home Depot who farms out the installation to no-name contractors that don't require repeat business. Floors to Go by John Raper definitely puts a huge effort in communication, pricing, product quality, meeting our schedule needs, and installation performance.

After a satisfactory visit with the owner, we used them for a luxury vinyl installation. Salesman solid us on the floor not denting or scratching "I took a 5-pound hammer to it"; it is dented all over. The installers clearly can't measure, add, cut, etc. There are gaps around edges that molding doesn't cover. The installers left large amounts of debris from the installation everywhere. Was reluctant to leave a review but I am reminded daily about the poor quality of the installation.

These comments are the first we've heard of your dissatisfaction other than your initial complaint of a low spot between your hall and kitchen which we rectified quickly after the your call. In regards to denting and scratching, NO floors are resistant to denting with a 5lb. hammer! All flooring is resistant to NORMAL wear and tear including denting and scratching. It went great! We tried to work with Lowe’s but we could never get the help needed. We used John 30 years ago. The guys he used were very professional and worked hard to finish in one day. They came back for a couple hours the next morning and moved furniture back. We are more than pleased. John Raper’s prices were less expensive but with great quality. We highly recommend them for any type of flooring. We saved a couple thousand dollars going with them!

Went great. Had four companies quote. The owner came out to survey work to be down. Was,careful to not the details. Good quote, on time everyday, great work, and great communication. Very responsive to the few items on our punch list.

Wonderful experience from estimate to install. John talked me out of expensive memory foam padding I did not need and recommended a moisture barrier padding that I did. Installers moved all furniture and just wanted to make sure I was happy. Got a little discount for paying by check. Would gladly recommend to friends and family.

John came to our house and did a very thorough estimate. He not only measure the sq. footage, he also measured the underlayment/subfloors and took time to determine how to lay the floors against the stone fireplace. John's knowledge and expertise along with the very competitive estimate is why we chose to hire Floors To Go. John's team who installed the floors were prompt, very professional, clearly knew what they were doing. I was impressed by their work ethic and the house was clean and put back together when they were finished. The floors look amazing and we are very happy with the experience we had with Floors To Go.

I am pleased. Was it perfect. Probably not. It was as good as I needed it to be. 1) The floor has some bounce to it down the hallway. 2) The installers didn't quite know how to deal with the steel pipe the toilet sat on, so the toilet remained on my porch for a day or two. The best solution we could muster was to seat the toilet back onto the concrete slab and cut the floor around the toilet. Not totally the best but in a college student condo it will do.

"Mrs. [Member Name Removed] We did consult you on the hallway unevenness but do to the age of the condo [Member Information Removed], price of the fix, and time restraints of the move in date you decided to leave it the way it was. In regards to the toilet, the flange that the toilet attaches to was lower than acceptable for us to install flooring under without having a leak. Our installer contacted you directly and requested you get a plumber to raise the flange or we would have to reinstall the toilet then cut the flooring around it which is what you approved us to do. Thank you for your review"

We went to their showroom, which has a huge selection of carpets that can be turned into stair runners. Far more than any store I have been to in the Triangle. Once we chose a carpet, we set up an appointment for measuring, and then installation was set up. The quality was outstanding, and the work was done extremely quickly. I know that carpeting curved stairs can be very tricky, especially with aligning patterns. We were quoted two days, but the team finished in just one day -- by skipping lunch and staying late. The price was also excellent. I was amazed at the worksmanship. We had purchased hardwood floors previously from floors to go, with installation, and also had a great experience with that as well. I highly recommend this extremely experienced team.

The vinyl was replaced one day, and the carpet the next. Both installations were well done, and the end result was excellent. All the folks who did the work were punctual, pleasant, and cleaned up when they were done. Prior to having the work done, John gave me a thorough explanation of the different types of carpets and the pros and cons, which I appreciated.

Floors by Raper came in, assessed the problem, and suggested a fix that did not take advantage of the situation. They were thorough, on time, and professional. We will use them for any flooring needs in the future. The hybrid floor was replaced with tile and looks great.
