He did a good job installing the weather striping around the doors. One door wasn't in the frame correctly and he fixed that. <br /> They sent someone by to check on his work. That guy talked to us about the air tightness of our home, which is great. He kept trying to find something wrong. It is a newer home. He mentioned we should put energy film on one window. I looked the film up online and found it at Home Depot. He told us that they had to do it because "if one speck of dust is on the film" it will compromise the integrity. One speck of dust? This isn't an ER or clean room. He was really pushing to try and sell something else. <br /> Because of the salesman that came 'to make sure the door work was correct' is why we won't use this company again. <br />

Were informed of all the leakage points in the house. The hard sell to plug those leaks was expensive and not something we were interested in. Additional insulation wasn't even discussed. <br />

Did not reduce electricity costs at all. They were mostly interested in offering other expensive services, like going into the attic and sealing a/c duct work. <br />

While the tech did check the windows and doors, it felt like that was the secondary reason for his appointment and only after I suggested to him that he get started. He spent more time trying to tell me about the other services that the company offered. It felt more like a sales pitch. <br />

Went well. There were more ducts than the coupon allowed, so they separated zones and attacked the most important one, even doing a few extra to finish the zone. <br />

"2012 we did a blower door audit- 2014 we get a bad review with nothing on it.. in 2012 we a signed customer satisfaction sheet from the member giving us straight A grades I have no idea if she woke up mad at the world or we did something wrong. Her answers are just bad grades. As a business owner, how can I fix this. May be I get all the old bad reports because I no longer pay for Angie's list?"

He did everything that I wanted to get done, and it was done good. I liked the second person that I had, and I was happy with everything that I need. The price was fair, and he did a good job. I had to be outside, because I couldn't be inside when he was cleaning. I knew he did a good job, because it felt better when I came in. His responsiveness was good.

They weren’t very good. They did the cleaning, but to get them to come here, once they canceled on us. They said that their car had broken down and I think they used that excuse twice. I spent time waiting and after about 4 times I rang up and really had to get quite angry with them, saying enough is enough. They canceled about 4 times on me. I think they had issues on Angie’s List also. I was worried when they even came to the house if I would even trust these people. They’ve just been very professional and they said they’re sorry. They did the job but it was too much effort to get them here. They came here and they talked me into paying extra for another service that they do. I think that in probably got the same thing done for the same price. I was really quite angry with them. I checked them out and they weren't up to Angie's List standards.

Arrived on time. We were told by another company that our ducts needed to be replaced at a cost of $8,000! The technician from Florida Energy inspected the whole system and said the duct work was ok. No repairs needed. It has been two years since and no problems. <br />

My experience with the Florida energy and air services was a waste of money. He was not able to do anything other than tell me how much more I would have to pay to do X, Y and Zee. So, he served no purpose other than to try to draw additional business for his company so that was it. It was an inspection but, the inspection was only intended to draw up more business. So, it was a waste for me.

I give Florida Energy and Air Services an F for the second visit.. The guy that came out was very unprofessional. He actually complained that he had to be there on a Saturday. Then he installed a new thermostat and it didn't work and it took them a long time to come back out to fix it. While they were also servicing our AC unit, as soon as the guy left, it stopped working so then we have to have them come back out and then they were trying to tell us it was the AC that was the problem. I said "it was working fine before the guy touched it and then he touched it and now it doesn't work" so the need to fix it. The owner of the company actually contacted me and sent somebody else to fix everything which he did but he wasn't very nice about it and he also made me pay a portion of it as well. It was higher than what the other guy had quoted me and he said he couldn't honor that price because he quoted me incorrectly. Overall, it was just an overall experience and I wouldn't use them again. He was here for a total of 15 minutes and he really didn't do anything. He did tell me "you should probably change your thermostat" gave me a price on a new thermostat, I don't remember how much it was and I agreed to have it done and then he left. When I had a similar deal the guy was here for an hour and a half and he was very thorough and did all this, this and this. He said that it was not included in this deal. I said it's the same deal. He said "I'm sorry you would have to call the office and reschedule if you want to do something additional" and he left. I called the office and scheduled for them to come out to replace the thermostat and also explain my unhappiness with the service so they brought somebody else out to change the thermostat and also do a more thorough preventative maintenance and clean-up on the system.

"Service was done 2 years ago, you responded to one visit with A and B grades now its all F grades. Not much I can do 2 years later. Why would Angie's List be recycling customers from 2 years ago??? Here was your response to other visits: The first time they came out it was good, the second time it was horrible. There were no additional charges the first time, that one was good. The guy was professional and did a very thorough job. He did a lot of things, very nice and explained everything he was doing in detail. He didn't try to up-sell us or anything so everything was working just fine. I would use them again based on my first experience. I show us cleaning your system 3 times and replacing your old thermostat with a new programmable 7 day thermostat. That retails for 299.00 You spent a total of 110.00 for 3 services and a new thermostat. I can’t do anything for you now, its 2 years later."
