There were delays in getting permits and product. This minor project took about 3 months to final completion. Quality of work was good, price was good and I would use them again.

Outstanding! Greg is extraordinarily talented. Our lawn and landscaping had ongoing problems for years. We phoned Greg, and he set an appointment with us, and went over our lawn and landscaping, one problem at a time, making a detailed and strategical plan to take care of our problems, as well as beautify our home in the short- and long-term. He was incredibly knowledgeable, courteous, and patient. We found out that he had a background in engineering, so he knew exactly how to address our water flow issues; and with his artistic eye, he came up with a unique plan to beautify our home, with little maintenance for us. He worked with us to get HOA Approval, and answered all of our questions. Again, the goal was not just the short-term satisfaction, which we have previously had (and been disappointed by) with other landscapers. Instead, he was highly-strategical, artistic, and completely oriented towards the customer's needs and budget. The team installing the landscape was extremely skilled, and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each work day. They were polite and didn't even bother us at all. In the end, Greg far exceeded our expectations. We were surprised at the way he solved our problems, yet developed such a unique look to our backyard, we even caught our neighbors eyeing our landscaping. Last but not least, he did not go over budget at all. There were no "hidden charges." The work was completed beautifully and within the timeframe mentioned, which was done efficiently, quietly, and well. We would highly-recommend Florida Outdoor Landscape again; and will be contacting them again, without hesitation, for any of our future needs.

I looked all over Angie's List and Houzz trying to find the right landscape company to do the job. This is difficult work in itself and most companies never called back, never came out, or never responded to my many calls and emails. It is amazing how hard it is to give a company your money for their services. Greg on the other hand was excellent. I received a call back right away, made an appointment, and he arrived on time. He knew exactly what we wanted based on my description and pictures and got right to work. Two days later I received a very professional looking proposal with every detail. It included much more value for the money compared to other bids I received for example irrigation, rubber mulch, and weed tarp. I then needed a bunch of paperwork for the HOA which they sent all over in a matter of days. Once approved I scheduled an install date without issue. Installation date everything went great! Everyone I met from the team was extremely professional and knowledgeable and they did a great job turning our landscaping around. They completed all of the work in about 5 hours, plus the next day an extra hour. Everything was left clean and tidy. I have already received many compliments from neighbors and it has only been a day that it was installed. Overall A+ work from Greg, Alex, Kelly, and the rest of team.

Greg, Alex and Kelley are wonderful to work with. They are professional and fun. We've had work done by them several times and all projects were completed promptly and thoroughly......including a very complex first project that involved changing water line system, electrical work for landscape lighting, designing landscape for both front and rear yards. No matter how complex, they got it done!

We were looking to spruce up our back yard and get rid of a line of scraggly bushes under our 2 big oaks. Greg offered several creative suggestions that would be Florida friendly and within our budget. <br /> The team (Alex and Chris in particular) that worked on the project were super courteous and seemed genuinely passionate about their work. Greg and Alex redesigned our entire sprinkler system for head-to-head coverage and it was apparent they knew loads about the science behind flow rates, pipe diameters, slopes, etc. and how it should all work together to cover the newly installed shrubbery. <br /> When the layout of a stone garden bed wall wasn't quite the way we wanted, they happily adjusted the layout, even though it took several extra man-hours. They even re-worked a section of the sprinklers to cover the new bed optimally. <br /> The end result was a beautiful, private oasis in our little section of Florida where we feel proud entertaining, and now enjoy just hanging out. <br /> Overall, we are really impressed with the company and would happily hire them again.

The service started out great and the back yard looks good, but the front yard is a mess. They knew what budget we had and they told us they could get it done for under that budget. They then came back to us later and said we had to spend more because they mis-measured for the sod. Also, the grass that they gave us was sick grass that "might" be able to be treated, and we had to spend even more money on emergency chemical treatment to try and save the new grass that they gave us. They told us that they would weed our yard before they put the grass on, but it turns out they just mowed over the weeds and plants and threw the grass over it. They didn't level the yard, or really do any prep work at all. We had to throw out having landscape lighting, which is something they told us we could have for our budget, because we ended up spending so much. I've been trying to get in touch with them to fix the problem, but they are unresponsive.

"This review is inaccurate with false statements. Our contracts are broken into phases and budgets and we are always very clear on our methods. We have full documentation of emails and communication with our offices. We have pictures and video of the project. The grass was installed in a healthy state, it was thriving so well that we even had one of our teams mow and service the property (courtesy), as it seemed her lawn service was not able.The client fails to include her request for more sod in the back [Member Information Removed], thus increasing the amount of sod needed. We only supply Quality sod from quality suppliers. The prep work was accomplished with herbicide, Bobcat grade work, we even supplied a 20 [Member Information Removed] fill soil to correct issues in terrain. The accusations and complete lack of truth are not acceptable! We instructed our client to contact her chemical company, via email with response twice. Falling to act quickly, then finally doing such the chemical co [Member Information Removed] "sod web worm infestation" in which we have documented. We do regret the grass decline, but after we received the review on Angies List went to review the property and found it not to be mowed with more than 12" of growth to the new sod areas; thus again creating serious decline! We have several emails and documentation showing our assistance and offering to replace grass. We are appalled at AngiesList for allowing this review as we understand comments and dissatisfaction, but we do not like False statements, and matters that we can simply prove false! The client Paid of her last installment13 day prior to this review in which she [Member Information Removed] via email "everything looks great" A more accurate review is that the client failed to get a chemical provider quickly, and that nature, insects, and such has caused a decline in her new turf. Although upsetting this is simply a unfortunate event that could have been avoided and typically is avoided when clients follow instructions. We have strived for over 20 years to always communicate and provide professional service, our "A" reviews that dominate our reputation show such practice. After reviewing the false statements we are reluctant to enter the property as to protect our company from further false issues that may arise by doing such."

Communication throughout the job was excellent . I enjoyed meeting Greg, He listened to my ideas and with his knowledge and creativity came up with the perfect plan for my yard. His company also installed accent lighting to my front yard which looks great and was the perfect touch . Both functional and aesthetic. Greg is great. He gave us a reasonable estimate and then stuck to it. The work got started a couple of days late, but they called to let us know there was an issue in advance and because of the great communication it was no big deal. The sod looks fabulous. I would definitely use them again. <br />
