Floridian Pools Resurfacing

Less than a year after getting my pool resurfaced I started noticing stains in the pools surface. I contacted ricky the owner of the company to ask him if I should be concerned with what was going on. He stated that I should not be concerned and this was normal as the weeks went by I noticed the more and more And so I contacted him again. He said that the pool’s chemicals were off and that is what was causing the staining. I have my pool serviced by a professional company that checks the pool on a weekly basis and so I knew that that was incorrect. After doing some research online it seems as though the product was not applied correctly and that is exactly what was causing the staining I contacted ricky and told him to please help me come up with a solution and make this right and his response was that he does not warranty the material and he would not do anything for me. I warn anyone from doing business with this company they do not stand behind thier work and they are not an honest company. Ricky has been avoiding me since the problem and has deferred all responsibility for my pool discoloration. This company has jobbers that do not have experience applying the product and so you will start seeing issues months after the job is done. This company is warrantee is not worth the paper that it is written nine do your homework and don’t use Floridian pool resurfacing.

The company was very professional, on time providing a high quality work delivered at the day scheduled.

Not very well. The area was left dirty with almost impossible to clean1 white cement powder was all over and got stuck to pavers the crew did not cover the working area with tarp and left many hard to clean marks, including on the house side! Sloppy job and i will never either recommend Floridian pools resurfacing or use them again! bad experience!

They provided a brand new pump and filter. They put in the Diamond Bright on the bottom of the pool. They resurfaced the pool (blue), installed hydraulic cement, pentair and the pump. Replaced the tile inside the skimmer. Ricky Sr. and Jr., Raymond, Jason and Darnelius did an excellent job. They were polite, punctual and professional. They left the home clean and did what they said they would in a timely manner. Highly recommended. Thank you!

I don't know where to begin. Over the years I've had dozens of companies take care of things at both my business and home. Unfortunately, in most cases the job that was done was fair at best. So when it came down to picking someone to resurface our oversize swimming pool I was slightly nervous about choosing the right company to do the repair. Based on reviews on Angie's list I chose Floridian Pools. The minute I met the owner ( Ricky) I had a very good feeling that I made the right choice. He told me exactly when he could start the job and told me, in no uncertain terms, when it would be finished. Almost to the hour his men started to do the work when he said they would and three days later the job was done just as he said it would be. The pool has never looked so good! Floridian pools did an absolutely outstanding job! On another note, called Ricky a couple times while his men were doing the work and without fail he called me back within a minute or two.That's rare in this day and age! The price that I was quoted was more than fair. Amazingly he even did some extra work and went ahead and tiled the steps and did not charge me any additional amount! Other pool companies could learn a lesson or two from this company!!! Think anyone would be crazy to use anybody else!

Disappointing. I paid $4000 for diamond brite and new tile for my 30x15 pool and built in spa. It wasn’t the cheapest quote but I wanted it done right so I didn’t go with the lowest bidder. They came late and kept working after dark. The tile was a mess so they had to return and tile it again, this time in the day light. When it was time for the diamond brite another crew came, but they also seemed rushed and disorganized. A couple weeks later and the diamond brite is maybe 90% uniform but there are several places where it looks like they didn’t mix it thoroughly. At least it's still on. All in all I wouldn’t hire them again, not for anything, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone either.

Ricky was so very professional and was with us every step of the way. He explained all cost and the process to us prior. Ricky's crew was punctual, professional and very skilled in their labor. A job that Ricky said would take three days only took two and the pool looks absolutely beautiful. He even replaced our drain covers and jet covers free of charge. He came by the next day to put the basic chemicals in the pool, and follow up on the work done. Couldn't be happier with his work. <br />

Ricky and his family have a very long history in the swimming pool industry. He is very pleasant, knowledgeable and always responsive to a call or question. His crew is very professional, extremely courteous, were there when promised and left the job site clean.  The work was well done, the price was right and my wife and I are very pleased. <br /> Having been the Operations Manager of a local swimming pool construction company I can be very critical and appreciate work well done.  Ricky had promised a start and a finish date and kept his word. In and out in less than 5 days weather permitting. Started Monday and water was in the pool Thursday.  Job well done ! <br /> I highly recommend him. <br />
