If I could grade the tile work only I would have given an A+ the tile guys were clean, efficient, courteous and did an amazing job. They also did some demo work which was fine (quick and cost efficient). The plumbing ended up costing about $500 more than the quote which I might have expected but the plumbers left a hole in the ceiling that I need to fix now and from the time the tub and tile were completed to the time the job was finished was about a full week. The shower door was a hack job of an install; there were 3 screws and probably a tube of clear caulking holding up the doors. If I were to hire them again I would only do so for tile work (no additional projects) and the real reason for a C and not a B was that the sales guy who quoted me never once came back to check the work. I would want to ensure my contractors did a great job...

This company was horrible and has probably cost us thousands of dollars <br /> to replace our floor whenever we have to do it. I bought an Angie's List <br /> Big Deal for their service. He used a crew that was not his crew, but <br /> was his brother's crew. They talked me into light hand scraping on the <br /> wood in our 90-year-old home. They came in and did not do a light hand <br /> scrape, they did a heavy hand scrape. One time when I came home one guy <br /> was hanging out the doorway watching me come up the driveway singing <br /> upstairs. They were loud, unprofessional and it was horrible. When I saw <br /> the floors I called the owner of F-M and he put on this big show about <br /> how upset he was so he sent his regular crew over to finish the job. He <br /> said he would never use that crew again. I showed him big gouges in the <br /> floor and he said it was just the nature of the floor and I accepted it. <br /> He said he was going to come back and fix all of the floor parts. He <br /> said he could sand it down and gave me the big talk. His regular crew <br /> does do excellent work so they came in and were very professional. They <br /> did not have any of that behavior cr*p going on. So they did a nice <br /> job finished up. Then he slipped them a piece of paper that said I was <br /> happy with the floor and that I was not going to hold them responsible <br /> for anything further. I went ahead and signed it because I believed the <br /> owner would come out and do the floor. Not only did he not come back <br /> out but I had another company come out to do our stairs and they told me <br /> that whoever did the upstairs floors did not know what they were doing. <br /> The new company did it for about half the price of what F-M did it <br /> for. The F-M owner said he never heard of this soft-something. I will <br /> never use them and would tell people to run from them. For him to be <br /> sneaky and sly by slipping that paper to sign in on me is awful. I did <br /> not know anything about hardwood floors.

"We at flower mound flooring value our customers feedback. We understand after reading your comments that our first attempt to please you came up lacking we did then however willingly and without reservation or increased cost to you came back and fixed the floors to your satisfaction prior to asking you to sign a completion of work form. which is standard for our industry. per the signed contract dated 5-17-2014: 1) 900 feet refinish only old hardwood floors. 2) customer aware of extra cost involved for any replacement wood needed for repairs to this project. 3) customer aware we will do all we can to bring floors back to life, however since floors covered with carpet we have no idea what hidden unknown issues may arise. 4) scope of work a)moving and replacing all furniture b) removal and disposal of all carpet pad and tack strips c) refinishing and sealing of all floors in 3 bedrooms and hallway (no hand scraping)..... (which after tear out was done discoveries as to current state of customers wood made a smooth finish not applicable to the finished look desired by customer) 5) anticipated extra charges were accepted at contract inception and challenged when shown they were neccesary. 6) finally you were charged $3.77778 per foot which is below the going "retail" rate of $4.25 per foot. As far as the other company saying we did not know what we were doing, We're sure you're aware that this, as any business is cut throat and its always easier to bash the other guy when attempting to gain customers trust. A practice we do not partake in. pricing is not standard in this industry and is up to the vendor to set. While we believe you were given a good price for your project We are unwilling to speak to how the other company did the other job for a cheaper price as they were not doing the same job we originally did."

It was a great experience . The sales person was knew his product and provided his expertise to select the correct carpet for our house. He set up a crew to to remove old carpet and install the new. They were punctual and new their trade. They were quick courteous and cleaned up after they completed the job. Very satisfied and please with our selection of FM Flooring.

Wood floor installation was done perfectly. Fireplace tile replacement was done perfectly. Installer suggested alternate pattern for entry tile, and it ended up slightly out of alignment.

The guys from FlowerMound Flooring Services were amenable to our individual situation. They have a glitch in the ordering process that delayed the installation but they were able to overcome that problem. We are satisfied and we would recommend them to other people.

Found FM from a local Google search.? Got a great price on carpet and we were contemplating removing the snap together floor installed by previous owners.? Got a great price on the complete floor package. Carpet stone and wood. Installation crew started within 2 weeks and worked really hard to remove the four floors below the top surface.? Crew turned up on time each day and worked late to get the job done.? Install went quickly and looked great.? A few punch list items were addressed within a week without any issue.? The flooring looks fantastic.? Great company with great people.? I would definitely use them again for floors.? They also do countertops and bathrooms.? I see a new bathroom in the future
