<p>He gave us a very detailed bid that explained everything he was going to do.  He was on time, did great preparation, did a great job painting, and cleaned everything up.  We have hired many painters over the years and I've never had one that sanded the walls in between coats like Matthew did, and it made a huge difference.  He painted several doors that were in such bad shape I had considered replacing them and because he did such great prep work with caulking and sanding the doors before painting them, they now look new.  He also explained why our newly painted exterior door that was professionally painted a few months ago was already peeling (they used the wrong paint) and we'll have him back in warmer weather to re-do that door.  He was very knowledgeable.  We were pleased with his work and would hire him again.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />
