Flowrite Landscaping

(This review is for a huge project - front and backyard landscaping renovation.) This project started as such a wonderful job, but sadly, Harry does not follow through with the guarantee on any of his work. He will provide you with many promises and a contract that & guarantees his work and the project for a year. I have been suffering with chasing him to repair concrete that cracked severely in the backyard, and all down the driveway. I have had not one but three concrete contractors tell me that it was not done properly. The irrigation system did not work properly for the first 5 months after it was installed. He came back multiple times to repair it but charged an additional $500 to install a filter on my water pressure, which should have been done before he installed irrigation on the property. 75% of the plants died. He promised to come back and replace them... 6 more months go by and he simply ghosts you. He shared that he would not replace the plants after all as it was the smoke from the fires that killed them. The concrete took me a year and a half to get him to take responsibility for it. He said he suffered from covid and then a back injury so I understood.. but would have appreciated clear communication and a response to my many months of calls. When he arrived to redo the driveway and repair the concrete in the backyard and side yard, he acknowledge it was not done correctly but that he wanted to first put a coating of ardex over the driveway to see if that could buy us some time. He explained that scheduling concrete was hard at the moment (never mind that I waited close to 2 years for him to come back to deal with it). the garden now looks like chipped nail polish and the large cracks have returned and run down my whole driveway. Harry will not respond at all now. Zero of this project was ever guaranteed. He is extremely unprofessional and does not take responsibility for the result. During the project, our contract was for a total amount that was an all-in budget. He prides himself on not giving an estimate with hidden charges. Sure enough, he came to me and misjudged how much the excavation would cost and asked me for an additional $3k. Then keep in mind after the project charged an additional $500 to ensure the irrigation worked. I have never felt so disheartened and taken advantage of. I never want anyone else to experience what I have with him and will be pursuing legal action.

Harry estimated it would take one day to complete my french drain project. They came on a Saturday morning at 8 am and stayed until complete, even tho one of the crew members had to leave midway through the project, they finished in one day. Looks great!

I received 2 quotes for the complete landscaping of my front yard and backyards. Harry's quote was higher but his experience in landscaping and his knowledge won me over. He listened to my ideas and incorporated with his. His work was completed on time and my yards are beautiful. I would hire him again and highly recommended him. He stands behind his work.

Harry (owner) is very professional and listened to our ideas. He gave us some recommendations and we worked together to update the plan we had already for our backyard. After getting quotes from three other landscapers, Harry's quote was comparable to the others. He and his crew did an excellent job and completed the project within our time frame. He typically does only one project at a time and can give 100% of his and his crew's attention to the project. He gave us updates at crucial milestones of the project. We are very pleased with the end product. We would highly recommend Flowrite Landscaping to anyone looking for someone for a landscaping project.

Very conscientious and respectful. Took great care of our flower beds while working on the fence. Left work area cleaner and neater than before they started. Work completed in agreed upon time.

Harry did a great job and even made sure that my sprinkler valves were done right when repairing them for leaks. he went above and beyond what he was hired to do, I would hire him again and will let my neighbors know about him if they need someone.

Harry was prompt and fixed our drip system problem right away

Great job for the most part. I love the way my yard looks and Harry was a pleasure to work with. 16 of the plants he chose have died. I don't think he amended the soil properly before planting. Then the watering system was set too wet. I personally replaced most of the plants because Harry was busy elsewhere. I would use Flowrite again, but I would pay closer attention when they plant and set up the watering system.

Scope of work to front and back yard. Remove old plants,bark and lawn. Add property borders. Install weed blocker fabric. Add new drip system, drainage and irrigation systems. Add new drought tolerant plants and trees. Add lava rock, moss rocks and stepping stones. Pour of concrete side walk and patio slab. I am very grateful and extremely pleased to the outstanding workmanship of Flowrite Landscaping. Contractor Harry and his two employees Eddie and Antonio serviced my home landscaping project with excellent dedication to many duties. A team of three who were always so polite and prompt each day. My Wife and I hired Flowrite Landscaping for a large complex job that included removal of an existing lawn and bushes, replaced with drought tolerant shrubs, bark and rock, removal of a walk way, replacing an old drainage system, retaining wall and about 100 feet of fencing (including a gate). Harry came out and listened to our needs and gave us an estimate that was very fair. The work that Harry and his crew did was beyond excellent. Once the job was started he and his crew stayed on it until the whole job was completed. Along the way they did several extra things we had not expected (like trimming lower branches from some trees and arranging some of our old stepping stones to allow access to our side yard). Harry's knowledge and expertise was evident throughout the job. He helped us with the forms for the City of Roseville cash for grass program and arranged for all the utility markings. He also helped coordinate the common fence with our neighbor. Everything on this job was done in a first class manner. We now have a front yard that is the envy of the neighborhood. On a 10-point rating system we would give Harry and his crew 18 points. We have recommended him to all of our friends.

Harry helped me plan the front yard, selecting features and drought tolerant plants that looked good and went well with existing landscaping. He also made useful suggestions so the landscaping didn't clash with my neighbors' yards. All things considered, I had a positive experience and plan to use FlowRite again in the future.

Did a great job called to set up apt was here within 15 minutes went right to work on the fence finished when he said he would Customer service was great very friendly and considerate. Would highly recommend Harry Ranu for a fast and complete job.

Harry got to my fallen fence as fast as possible after the storm. I appreciate the quality of my new section of fencing.

His price was fair, he got the various jobs done in a timely manner, and gave me a $20 senior discount

Harry did a very good job, He helped me design a very nice front yard. Added some additional patio to the back yard. Redid my sprinklers to a drip system. Also planted throughout the front and back yard. I would highly recommend Harry to anyone who wants the job done correctly the first time.

Harry and his team did a great job on our fence repair. Prompt, knowledgeable, courteous and reasonable on cost. We'll probably hire him again for some additional landscaping-related work.

Harry had a very good vision of what we were looking for. He was very conscious as to what we liked and made sure we were happy with the final selection. He is very caring about the work that he does and we would highly recommend him.
