Our hardwood floors have been beautifully refinished—job well done. We first learned about Footprints, and in particular Keith, the owner, when my sister-in-law chose them to tackle her extremely dark maple hardwood floors, a project two other companies weren’t willing to touch. That alone spoke volumes. My son Mike, a professional woodworker and cabinet maker, inspected the finished work on his aunt’s floors. With a trained eye and a deep understanding of sanding techniques and wood integrity, he came away genuinely impressed. That carried real weight with us. After hearing Mike’s assessment, we invited Footprints to give us an appraisal, this after we were nearly committed to another company. Not that the other firm would have done a poor job, but seeing what Footprints accomplished on a floor others wouldn’t attempt made the decision clear. We knew who our go-to would be. When hiring someone for work like this, we look for more than technical skill. We look for character, someone who offers thoughtful input, demonstrates real knowledge, and earns trust. That last part matters a great deal to my wife and me. Keith checked every box. His crew arrived on time, worked diligently, and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. Most importantly, the job was done right. Our floors don’t just look better—they look better than we ever imagined.

Keith and his team did an excellent job installing LVP flooring and quarterounds on the first floor of our home. Keith was extremely professional and made sure the job was done perfectly. After asking him literally last minute if he could put quarter rounds around the stairs and a stair lip cover on the basement stairs, he stayed back and completed the job while his team went on to another job site. Footprints Floors removed my old worn out carpet and padding and the vinyl in the kitchen and bathroom and replaced it with wood laminate flooring I had chosen. They installed the rounded finished edges and did a superb job around the toilet and the water heater, which has a round overflow pan. The crew was knowledgeable, professional and polite and they cleaned up after themselves as they went. Then took all the trash with them! My condo is small - only 1 bedroom and 1 bath, but they did the entire job in one day. Thank you Footprints for a wonderful job! I feel like I have a new house! The team was quick, efficient and did beautiful work. The refinished floor has more character and beauty than our new hardwood floor in other areas.

We have a kitchen and dining room, living room, and several hallways that laminate flooring was put down. We are very pleased with the company that we pick which is footprints. The installers were very professional and the cleanup was great. I recommend this company. If you have any type of flooring issues , I highly recommend footprints

I provided both self-leveling spacers and level box, but installer didn't use either and floor is not flat with many tiles 1/4" or more sticking. I can live with it, but not very happy.

I had requested 4 estimates and was most comfortable wit. Keith.. He came out, measured, took pictures, and gave me a reasonable estimate. The work was scheduled within a few days. The installer did a great job, and I am very pleased with it. I would recommend Footsteps Flooring to anyone who wants any kind of tile or flooring done.

Friendly and competent

Our home is almost 150 years old. The floor project required repair and board replacement before refinishing and new trim around a tile hearth. Keith Warren gave us an honest and detailed appraisal and sought additional resources to answer our questions and concerns. He is very professional and stayed in contact, overseeing and communicating throughout the process. We will use Footprints again and recommend this business.
