I called the day before Thanksgiving and they immediately sent Bill to reinstall cables and adjust and check the springs, and lubricate. I hadn't really known what the problem was and feared the worst, so was very relieved that it was relatively minor and inexpensive. Bill worked cheerfully, quickly and efficiently. <br />

My husband took off work to wait at home for Forest Door and a cable company technician. While the cable tech was late, then called a couple of times to push back his arrival time, the Forest Door representative was extremely punctual. He said he would arrive at 10 a.m., and my husband told me the rep called from the alley at 10 a.m. sharp. He was polite and efficient and we felt the price was definitely fair for the amount of work done. We would use Forest Door again.

this company was one of the better that i have dealt with as they reposonded the same day with price and had the time to do the repair the same day also would use them again for sure and will let anyone know that they were great.

I called Forest door for a quote and they came out to quote it right away. Their price was competitive. I had them quote on the door quite a while ago but I did not proceed because of cost. When I re-opened my inquiry, between them and their competition, they were able to locate the quote quickly and got the business. It took about two weeks for the door to come in and they installed it right away. The two man crew came out to my house within the one hour time frame. It took a few hours to install.

Perfect! I used Forest Door this past summer before I had an Angie's List account and had an awesome experience. So when one of the garage door springs snapped, I called Forest Door to get it replaced. I got first on the list for the following day. Dale called me 10 minutes before my appointment time to let me know the tech was on his way. The tech showed up right on time and got to work. Had everything completed in about an hour.

Garage door spring broken and opener stopped working. Called office, they where responsive and came out the next day. Repair man was polite and professional and workmanship was great. He spent approximately two hours replacing the springs and gears in the opener. When complete the price seemed high for two springs and a plastic gear replacement. The parts could not have cost that much and for two hours of labor it seemed excessive. My fault, I should have shopped and compared them to others on price before agreeing to work just to keep them honest. I felt they would be fair based on the Angie's list ratings. I am a contractor myself and $425.00 for two hour of labor, two three foot metal springs and a plastic gear are excessive. I only have one price for all customers who price me before or trust me to be fair. Good quality but get other estimates first, it is a commodity repair.

I was to be first up, but there was a staffing issue that morning, but they called ahead to let me know and a new time. They were within 30 minutes of the estimate. Once they arrived (2) men they went straight to work, and completed the job, they were courteous but kept themselves busy. Very professional. They had reservations about the big gap at the base, but I assured them that I would have it addressed soon, I did not know that I would luck out on Tuesday and by Thursday it was completed. The wife is VERY HAPPY as well as I am very satisfied.

The whole process went very well. I visited their show room first and they showed me various door options as well as spring systems and openers. Forest came out quickly and gave me a quote which I accepted. They got the city permit for the job and we scheduled the work. The installers called the day before to confirm the appointment and said they would on the job at 9:00 am. They showed up right on time (8:55 am)and we went over the details of the work to be done. The had the old door and opener remove in 45 minutes and the total job was done in less than 3 hours. Forest hauled away all the old equipment and cleaned up any loose material (nuts, bolts, screws) in the garage or driveway. Before leaving we went over all the control systems and how to manually open and close the door if electric power is lost. I an very pleased with the door and Forest's workmanship and professionalism. I would definitely recommend them to others.

The garage door wouldn't open and we didn't have the key to the side door. First, he arrived early (nice!) and successfully open the garage door. He diagnosed the problem as having a bad cable not the springs. He was done in half hour. The door has been working perfectly ever since. We will call them again to install the automatic garage door opener.

It went flawlessly. Their sales rep came out promptly when agreed upon, followed up right away with cost options, and the work was installed exactly as expected and on time. Our existing garage door operator even worked better (meaning quieter) when they were done! A reliable company, good product, good service. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either - but worth it, I think.

Overall, the process was excellent. Dale met us at the house, checked out the door and the opener, discussed our options and provided an estimate. I called back the next morning and scheduled the job. The workers made us their first stop of the day and they were up and down much faster than even they expected. The door and opener function perfectly and they did an excellent job cleaning the work area. Plus, they were very respectful throughout the entire process.

Extremely responsive, we were in a pinch and called them needing same-day service, after being referred by another company that did not service our brand of garage door opener (Genie). They came the same day, did the work while we were not home and left the bill in our mailbox. Fantastic service.

Originally called for quote on 2 garage door openers. Was quoted $750 for both including remotes and external keypad. Company called back and said they had a special, lowering the price to $704. Upon inspection, installer found a broken spring (legitimate) and said he would have to return the next day with parts. (additional $190 per door) Installer returned next day and replaced springs on both doors and installed openers. Work was done to satisfaction and both doors operate much better than before. Felt we received a very fair deal from this company and would recommend and use them again.
