Forever Green Landscaping & Irrigation LLC

Painfully slow. We initially hired Tony and his small crew (himself, his son, and another worker) to do a simple irrigation installation (Phase 1). As they were finishing Phase 1, we asked Tony to add some sod and a couple of addition sprinkler zones to top of our lot. Then (why I can't fathom) we suggested he do Phase 3, by adding addition sod, some trees and two more sprinkler zones. I'm sure by splitting this up into three separate jobs we paid a premium, which would have been fine, if Forever Green would have been reliable and punctual...or at least communicated when they didn't show up as expected. First, understand it was impossible to communicate with Tony, as he never, and I mean never answered their phone, emails, and very, very rarely a text unless he was expecting a check at the end of that day. They rarely came on the day they said they would. Always came midday or later....must be late sleepers. Quality of their work was satisfactory, but I feel strongly we overpaid for the work done. If you have time to burn and the patience of Jobe, go ahead and hire Forever Green Landscaping. If you want to get it done quickly, and efficiently save your money, and call a vendor who knows what a telephone is.

These guys were great!  Super friendly and professional.  I like them very much, but they were super expensive.  I would have hired them for more work buy unfortunately I could not afford them. <br />

They ended up rescheduling because of weather, which wasn't a big deal. However, I was not home when the work was completed. Since I was not there I can not say if they spent the amount of time they were supposed to, but I wasn't impressed with the amount of work done for "24 hours" . <br /> They were not very knowledgeable about the types of plants. Several times I asked what a plant was, or an opinion of it should stay or be removed. I didn't get many answers. Now that I have been here another year, I can see that some of the things cut back shouldn't have been. <br /> Otherwise everything is fine. <br />

It did not appear to be 5 yards, it appears to be closer to 3.

It worked out well.   I would use them in the future.

That was...not thrilling. They did some weeding and planting. They didn't weed it the way I wanted it weeded. They pulled the weeds from the top and did not pull them out by the roots. The weeding didn't last long. They did some plantings too - however my husband did part of the plantings and they did the other part, and my husband's plantings have thrived much better than the landscaping company's plantings.

The service was fine.

They  were very good at coming out right away to look at our system. They were very prompt and professional. They were supposed to be looking for another part that went to our irrigation system, another part of the lawn that was covered, and he told me there wasn't another part. But after he left, that other part came on. He didn't really do much for $97, so the price seemed kind of high to me.

They are actually really great, absolutely fabulous. They were prompt and worked in the rain and cold. It was in January and was freezing out. I use them over and over and over again. The two guys who came out were great and did a bang-up job. They did a wonderful job and everything they did was wonderful. When we called them they were here at a moment's notice. There is nothing I could say that would be negative.

We used Forever Green Landscaping recommended through Angies list. He did a wonderful job and he did what I asked for and with time and in the best manner. He carried out the service about a month ago. The drainage and everything cost me about $5,000.00They are reliable and provided good service. He did everything I expected of him <br /> I will use him in the future

They were good when doing the work. They were late each day and I did mention to them on the first day that it would have been nice to know they were running late. They came each day after that late as well. We asked them for an estimate and they never got back with us. I would not contact them again due to this.

We had employed Forever Green on two different occasions about a month apart.  Both jobs were done with knowledge of design, good suggested plant materials with care and professionalism throughout.  Our sprinkler system is functioning well and saving us money.  We could not be more pleased with it and our beautiful new side yard.  Tony was knowledgeable and thorough in his work performance with an emphasis on what we wanted.  I employed him in the middle of his busiest time frame and he made every effort to stay late until the jobs were complete to our satisfaction.   He and his crew are honest, hardworking and genuinely good guys.  I highly recommend them and will use them again.  Our yard looks fabulous and the compliments are pouring in.  Both jobs were worth every cent we paid...Don't hesitate to use Forever Green! <br />

Obtain three quotes, Tony's quote was the lowest bid.  He even went and extra mile to bring us brick samples for our viewing.  Agreed to do the work and he said he'd call the next day to let us know when they would start.  He wanted a 1/3rd down payment which we paid on April 2nd.  The work was estimated to take three or four days.  A week later after no phone call, I called and left message.  My call was returned the next day and the schedule was set to start work on May 1st. <br /> I called April 30th to confirm the start and he returned my call saying he was running behind but would start either the 2nd or 3rd.  They did not show up until the 6th with no phone call prior.  Two days of work which included removal of old pavers and delivery of new pavers.  Then nothing for a week and no return of my phone calls. <br /> They returned on the 14th & 15th and completed the majority of the work.  He said he had about two hours work left for the next day so (like a dummy) I paid in full on the 15th.  I called and left a message on the 20th telling him I wanted the work finished by end of day on the 22nd or I would contact my attorney. <br /> No returned call but they did show up and finished the work on the morning of the 23rd to my satisfaction.   My mistake was not including a time frame in our agreement but I'm not sure it would have made a difference. <br /> Overall, I believe Tony does good work.  However, his poor communication and lack of timely construction leaves much to be desired and lots of frustration by this customer. <br />

Tony  and I scheduled the pruning day.  He gave me an approximate arrival time... because of the unpredictability of traffic from Gig Harbor to West Seattle.  After a delayed start (they did call),  Tony and team arrived.  They shaped, pruned and cleaned up the yard.   The process took about 8 man hours.  We are very pleased with the results and will continue to use  Forever Green Landscaping. <br />

<p>6/14/2014: All issues have been resolved to our satisfaction.  After our posting, Tony contacted us promptly and turned on/repaired the sprinklers, replaced the dead tree plus did some additional barking work for us.  Good guys, creative, knows their stuff but communications were  sometimes challenging.   Everything has been resolved to our satisfaction.   </p> <p><br /></p> <p> Creative man but poor communication and not reliable.   We purchased on price and paid for the changes required  . . . but now paying the price in service!!!!  We have a dead tree that should have been replaced as guaranteed but no response to calls or e-mails.   </p> <p><br /></p>

They did really good job.  We were really satisfied with it.  They did such a good job that the neighbors walking by complimented on how good our lawn looked.  They did a really efficient job.  The price was comparable to anything else we had; we had some other bids too.  The price was very good and it was very good quality work.  They offered a good deal and everybody took them up on it and they were so swamped that they were a little bit late to get to us.  They came when they said they were coming and were very professional.
