He did an excellent job of installing a very attractive dry block wall. He did it professionally and in a timely manner. He treated his workers very well. I would hire him again. Neighbors asked for his reference.

They were truly professional and did a really nice job on our fire pit and garden surround.

The crew was young, but hard-working.  They came and were respectful and diligent.  They were not able to get as much done as we had hoped with the 40 hours worth of work, but what they did do, was excellent.  They also took away the weeds and other stuff when they were done.   <br /> Unfortunately, the young crew also removed some of my plants in their zeal.  In the end, I figured that it was probably time to replace those plants anyway, so it was ok. <br /> I would recommend this crew for yard work. <br />

I purchased this service for my daughter and son-in-law who had bought a house w/ ivy planted in the back yard. The ivy was established and beginning to take over, and there was ALLOT of it. They came and worked very hard; 40 man-hours of labor, and they pulled every last bit of it. They also back filled w/ some mulch. It looks great!

I kind of questioned the cost after they did the job. What they actually did here looks pretty good. I just had surgery that time so I was in bed when they came out. They did it under 40 hours and did good work but they handed me another bill that was triple the price. The labor was okay but within that labor, they planted things for me. I had asked them to make it easy to maintain but they never discussed anything with me. I’m sure they upped the cost for the plants quite a bit. I don’t even know what plants they are. They did put in some bricks and they did a good job on that. I told them that I wanted some grooves leveled out in my yard and I realized afterwards that there were still some tracks in the yard. It was covered by grass but I pointed out where they were.

Crew showed great initiative and work ethic. Everyone was very polite and clearly knew their stuff. Cleaned up all debris and left the yard looking as nice as could be expected for the dead of winter. Had to reschedule once because a previous job was extended. <br />

I purchased a big deal coupon for this company.  It went well.  They charged me for plants and materials.

The pavers look great . company is very easy to communicate and deal with. Timely and courteous. Excellent work <br />

We got Matt's name from our neighbor and found him to be a pleasant guy. He stopped by to check out our potential job and offered possibilities for pavers; gave us the name of the company he uses to supply pavers so we could see them first hand. We agreed on the scope of the job and a starting date. <br />  The job started 3 days later than expected because his prior customer added something at the last minute. But when they arrived, they got right to work removing our concrete porches, all walkways and the driveway. They pulled out the tree in front of our stairwell window that had gotten overgrown and a Japanese lace leaf maple that was also too big in a separate bed. They hauled away concrete so it could be recycled as crushed gravel to reuse as the layer directly under the pavers. Loved the recycle/reuse idea. Excess dirt and plantings were removed and the grading began. <br />  They began placing the pavers at the foot of the driveway, working toward the garage and house. We chose a pattern called "ashlar" and pavers from Pacific Slate called "sandalwood". The trim blocks along all sides were 4" x 4" blocks from Pacific Slate in "shadow". The placing of the pavers takes quite a bit of time but it's worth the time and labor.  Matt's wife, Tif, brought new plants and placed them in the new beds and put bark on top.  We had them put in an Alpine Fir in one bed and Matt suggested a Green Arrow Alaska Cedar in the bed in front of the stairwell. <br />  Several days after the final pavers were laid and plantings finished, a clear coat of sealer was rolled on the walkways, driveway and porches.  It looks great and we are very pleased. <br /> <br /> <br />

We were very impressed with the quality and professionalism by Matt and his crew.  He was prompt on giving us a bid and always returned by telephone calls when asking a question.  When we finally settled on a plan, they started the project and worked on it everyday until it was finished.  When I changed the plans a bit, Matt was accommodating and made it happen.  I highly recommend this company. <br />

I honestly can't remember exactly how much I spent with matt and his team but to say they were the best and most professional contractors of any kind we've worked with is easy to say. They installed landscape lighting for us as well as did lots of yard clean up, weeding, beauty bark, etc. These guys were simply phenomenal. We had some issues such as challenges with the tar or whatever it was they used to cover the cut they made in the driveway for underground electrical lines for the lighting - but they came over immediately - multiple times - to fix the job and make it right. When we called them this year - a year later - about a light not working because of neighborhood teens kicking it over - he came over and fixed it without asking for any $ (we had fully expected to pay something for his time). Yes you are paying for high quality work - but you are actually getting it.

They worked off and on for 3 months to complete the work. We kept having them come back and complete more things for us. When we met with Form to Function they seemed knowledgeable and were able to give us ideas. The bid to do the work was fair. The work they performed is great. We are now using them for on-going monthly maintenance. If you have any problems after the work is complete, the owner, Matt, comes and addresses those issues right away.
