I found Todd through searches on Facebook and Angi, and after getting 3 estimates, chose him to take on a challenging renovation in my 100+ year old home. His estimate wasn't the lowest, but I just had a feeling he would be a good fit. Things didn't always go easily, but Todd got through them and did a stellar job. I couldn't be happier with his work and highly recommend him.

Todd was great to work with. He was here when he said he would be. Cleaned up before he left. Todd is an experienced carpenter. I wish I had found him before I started with the cabinet folks. I would have had him design the kitchen. Looking forward to the next project that will be starting shortly.

Amazing. Todd was the fourth carpenter we interviewed, all from Angie's List, and we knew immediately he was the one. Unlike the others, you could tell that he was the kind of guy who does what he says; shows up; and does a quality job. He did all that and more and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Todd did more than the projects he was given - he referred the electrician and plumber who also did a wonderful job and having the three of them know one another helped tremendously - as they would communicate scheduling amongst themselves. Todd was also the point person who was there when the granite was installed and found someone to cut and re-size our existing granite. Todd listens to what you want to do; asks all the right questions, provides very thoughtful ideas and solutions. He gets it. He is there when he says he will be; the quality of his work is excellent. He is a pleasure to have in your home; he cleans up as he works and is just a real nice guy. Todd is a skilled craftsman and we highly recommend him and will continue to have him to work as needed on our home.

We were so happy with the kitchen and master bathroom remodel that Todd did for us that we hired him again to remodel our downstairs bathroom. Todd gutted the old bathroom down to the studs and rebuilt the floor in order to remove water damaged boards from a prior leak as well as accommodate the new curb less shower pan. Todd was very thoughtful and had some good design & layout suggestions and helped us work thru other challenges like how to route/hide things we didn’t think of such as vent pipes. Todd found and installed new window trim and doors that also closely matched the rest of the house to help maintain consistency throughout. He installed new tile on the floor, shower walls, and subway tile halfway up all the remaining walls. All of the lines were perfect again and he did a fantastic job. We have received many compliments on the bathroom and are thrilled with how it turned out. Todd is a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend him and his work.

We hired Todd for an extensive remodel of our home and couldn’t be more thrilled with how nice it turned out, how smooth the process was, and how helpful Todd was along the entire way. The project has been complete for a while, I am just now following up with a long overdue review. Downstairs Todd removed 2 walls including a staircase to create an open living space for us. Where the walls were removed, he installed 3 new support beams per the engineer’s design, and then wrapped them with rustic oak boards to make them look like original beams, and they turned out beautifully. He installed all new trim around the downstairs windows to match the rest of the house. Todd gutted our old kitchen and built an island for us, installing all new cabinets, crown molding, and the appliances. He even custom modified 2 drawers in the island so that we could conceal the electrical outlets behind part of the drawer panel but not lose the entire storage space of the drawer. He did such a great job with the drawer modification they look like they came that way from the factory. The entire kitchen turned out perfect. During the same remodel, we also hired Todd to combine 2 bedrooms into a new master suite. This involved removing walls, installing a beam, and installing new walls for the new master bathroom and closet. While the ceiling was opened up Todd noticed a drip coming from above on a rainy day, and after finding the source, he offered us a very reasonable price to replace a small section of siding to ensure we wouldn’t have any water issues. We are grateful he was so observant and willing to go the extra mile for us by fixing this issue that was not originally in our scope. In the new master bathroom the extensive amount of tile and the new glass shower enclosure that he installed couldn’t have turned out any nicer, all the lines were perfect. He took great care in his tile usage, minimizing waste with his cuts which we appreciated especially on the expensive tile he installed in a decorative strip. Todd was great to work with throughout the entire project and very professional day in and day out. Being such a large project, as it progressed there were several things we realized we wanted to add to the workscope while everything was opened up. Todd was very accommodating and gave us reasonable prices for each addition we threw his way. We appreciated his flexibility very much. Todd also helped us with various design considerations, and had some great ideas that helped us work with the engineer to get the upstairs beams laid out in a way that optimized our new space. He pays close attention to detail and worked hard to ensure we would be happy with the end result of the project. Overall Todd is a real pleasure to work with and we highly recommend him and the quality of his work.

Todd was wonderful to work with. He arranged for the electrical and plumbing work that needed to be done. He had the old cabinets removed in a day and within a few days the new ones were in. When he left at the end of the day everything was cleaned up and he arrived when he said he would. I will definitely use his services again.

Todd is very professional, and easy to work with. He was amenable to my ideas, and gave me some of his own. He was easy to schedule the work with, and always gave me a heads up in when he’d be here to do the work, and if he was running late. Todd worked swiftly, but paid a lot of attention to detail. He had another man do the drywall needed for my bedroom, and he was great as well. The bedroom project was pretty straightforward as far as design goes. For the closets I had remodeled, I showed Todd some pictures from Pinterest that I liked as examples, and he did a fantastic job replicating the ideas into the space I had. Everything turned out exactly as I hoped, and I’d hire him again in the future. As far as estimates go, Todd was very fair, and was great about removing any costs that were less than anticipated. I had two great experiences.

Todd built a beautiful new ¾ bathroom and minibar in our basement. The job involved all new plumbing and a ceiling fan vented to the outside. It was a challenging job because of a low ceiling and other problems, but Todd came up with innovative solutions for all of the hurdles we ran into. This is the second project that Todd has handled for us, and we feel very fortunate to have found him. His workmanship is outstanding, he listens patiently to our questions and preferences, and he goes out of his way to make sure we are happy. His fees are also very reasonable. Todd is a real professional and it’s a pleasure to work with him; I would strongly recommend him for any remodeling project.

Todd did a wonderful job remodeling our kitchen. I was very impressed with his excellent workmanship and attention to detail. He has infinite patience and listened carefully to all of my concerns. This was a complex project, and Todd raised questions about details that I had not thought of, both before and during the project, and never made assumptions without asking me. He came in right on budget and went out of his way to make sure I was happy, even doing things that were not part of the project. I strongly recommend Todd for the quality of his work, his organization, his attention to detail, and his professionalism.

Todd was a real professional. He gave us leads on where to shop for our bathroom fixtures that worked out very well. He showed up on time and finished the job in the time frame quoted. He suggested changes he felt would work better and they did. His sub contractors are great. Great plumbing work was done. We are very happy with this work. Todd performed this job in September 2017. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Todd was great, he lives close by and was always very attentive, very willing to offer advice and any other help as far as choosing bathroom items, measurements, etc. The project took approximately one and a half months from demolition to completion. Todd was present from beginning to end and completed most of the work himself, he hired out an electrician and a plumber.

Todd was very communicative, stayed on the job throughout the duration of it, handled added requests and unforeseen glitches professionally, cleaned up after himself, performed high quality work, coordinated with the plumber, and is an all around nice guy. I strongly recommend him and would hire him again.

Todd is not only a nice guy and a straight shooter with loads of integrity, he's also a very talented carpenter, who stands by his work. Every project I've used him for has gone smoothly. I'm a very satisfied customer and would definitely recommend him.

I can't say enough about Todd. He does great work, he is very professional and most importantly, he is trustworthy. We refer to our home as the little house Todd built. He's done many projects for us and we still have a list for him. I've recommended Todd to many friends.

We put off doing this project for a long time because it was a major renovation and we were worried about making the right decisions.  We were fortunate to find Todd because his combination of experience and professionalism was exactly what we were hoping for.  Todd was great to work with!  He had good ideas, helped guide us to make kitchen design choices, and asked for our input on every aspect of the project. We could not be more pleased with our new kitchen! <br /> The following is a list of everything that was included in the labor estimate: <br /> Prep areas with plastic walls to contain dust as best as possible, move appliances, remove existing cabinets and countertops, take down existing drywall to the studs and down to strapping on ceiling , remove existing floor tiles , install new patio door and window, insulate walls, hang drywall, tape and mud or plaster walls and ceiling, create new openings in wall between kitchen and front room and wall at foot of stairs, prime ceiling and walls, install new cabinets, install new window and door trim, <br /> install new tile floor, install tile backsplash, remove all debris, be on site when inspector comes to sign off on different phases of job. <br />

Excellent. He was very contentious and professional and the work was well done. The job was finished on time and he also completed a few extra side jobs that were not in the original quote. <br />

Todd brought the un-painted molding to my home so I could paint the molding to match other woodwork in  the home. He came back as soon as I told him the painting was done to install the crown molding in three rooms of my home. He did a nice job. <br />

Not only was his work professional and extremely well done, but he was kind enough to work around our schedule. Also, he was very conscientious of our small children and got everything done on time and in budget. <br />

Todd was great to work with. The first time he came to check out our kitchen he spent a couple of hours taking pictures and talking with us about different ideas. The design that he created incorporated what we had discussed and he was flexible to make a couple of other changes later in the process. Things went as scheduled and the very minor delays were from the loopy inspection / permitting process in our city. He also has great contacts for the cabinet and granite provider. Everyone talks about how painful and disruptive kitchen projects are. So we were limited to toaster and microwave cooking for a few weeks, but it reminded me of my fun, mortgage free college days. And now we have a beautiful kitchen!
