Absolutely beyond my expectations. Darly was a joy to work with and put together a much better plan for me then I had worked out on my own. Aaron was a joy of a mover to have move my family and he and his team did a wonderful job.

We moved from FL to New York with a baby and pregnant, clutter everywhere in the house and all the stresses around added. The movers took care of everything from packing to unpacking in the new place. I was surprised there were no surprises in the final cost vs the estimate after too many horror stories from other people that had experience with other companies. I felt like royalty during the move, everything I needed was taken care of before I even knew what I needed.

They were on time, professional and extremely careful with my things. Great communication would highly recommend and use again

Probably the worst moving experience of my life in that the company did not deliver what they promised. When I booked the moving services it was for a crew of 3 @145/hour. Then the day before the move, they called an changed it from a crew of 3 down to 2 at a rate of $120/hour. I told them that I would be out of town and to use the same credit card for the down payment for the final payment after the move was completed as I was scheduled to be out of town. I received numerous calls from FVL and my daughter surrounding this move. The movers showed up 4 hours late for the move and then informed my daughter that they needed the original card in order to proceed. This was not possible as I was 700 miles away in a different city and could not get them the card. They then informed my daughter that they would not be able to fit everything in their rental truck as they made a pickup earlier in the day. After finally sending numerous emails back/forth, they were able to load most of the goods and proceeded to drop 1. There they informed us that they would not remove contents of truck unless they had the original card. I then had to call FVL again and explain the situation. At this point, my daughter called the police department and police were called out and cooler heads prevailed. It took them a grand total of 45 minutes to load the truck, 25 minutes to drive to 1st stop where they unloaded for 15 minutes and then finally drove to stop 2 in 15 minutes and unloaded for 1 hour. We were quoted a max of $550, however, the final bill ended up being $842.50. I had no choice but to pay because they were holding my daughter's furniture as hostage. I have never met a more unprofessional organization in my life. I would not use them again if they were the last moving company around.

Well overall. Some furniture was not well protected.

Signed up for Angie's List just to post this review. I chose Forward Van Lines for my move and I'm glad I did! The movers were professional and worked really hard to make sure everything was moved in on time. I'm very satisfied and will definitely use their service in the future if I move again.

Awesome and fast service. They came highly recommended by a coworker. They arrive on time and started working right away non stop until they were done. They help me arrange the furniture the way I wanted, The price was great too!

Terrible. Customer service req was good. Very detailed and told me what to expect. However, the guys who packed things up did a terrible job. They used the restroom and clogged it. They broke couple of furnitures. Also, it came 4 days after it was promised. Even that, the driver acted like he was doing a service for us. I moved again from our house. but didn't use them. I don't have their number to put it as a reference. but we finally hired a very good movers.

Everything went well. A bit of confusion on the arrival time for the delivery of the items, but it was resolved. The pricing was very good for the move so the client has to be a bit flexible with moving dates and times to adapt to the schedule of the movers. After your pick-up, the date of delivery is not confirmed immediately. You are informed that the delivery would be within 10 business days and you are contacted 24-48 hours before the delivery date and time. My delivery was in 5 business days. I think you can pay more to reserve an exact pick up and delivery date with a dedicated truck, but I was looking for a discounted price for my move and this worked out great! Nirva who was my contact at Forward Van Lines was very professional at all times and was there to try and help out when we were trying to agree on a delivery time of my items. She was very patient and always very polite with me when I changed the pick up date and final inventory list for my moving boxes/furniture 2 or 3 times and never complained.. The moving crew themselves were all very professional and respectful. I would hire this moving company again for a personal move.

Guy who came to give estimate was very nice and prompt. 4 men came to load truck and they were on time and finished quickly. The problem was the delivery of the furniture the next day. They were supposed to arrive between 12-2 but didn't show up until 6:00 and there were only 2 guys. We ended up helping them so we could get them out faster. They didn't leave until 10 pm. It was a long day for us and very stressful and for the money we spent we thought it would have gone a little smoother. Oh, and a lamp I paid $15 extra to protect was ruined and had to be thrown away. Would not use again because of these reasons.

They were very accommodating and professional. Their staff is very nice and experienced. They worked with me to make the move as smooth as possible. I highly recommend them.

Movers were on time at both ends of the move. Took care of our possessions and kept us informed.

Went great. The guys who picked up stuff was great. On time and worked well. Storage went fine and my stuff was delivered on the day that we had contracted. The delivery guys were great. They were also nice and professional.

Everything went really smoothly from beginning to end. The guys that moved the furniture were wonderful and I'd definitely use this company again.

The four man team that did minimal packing and loading were quite good and pleasant (although one hall light was broken in the process). However, the two man long haul team that delivered to us in NJ was exceptional. The team was very pleasant, hardworking and friendly. They went out of their way to assist with some other furniture that needed to be moved out of the way of the delivery, etc. There was some minimal damage that insurance should cover (very minor) but no hesistation to use these guys again.

It went very well. I was very pleased. They were very cooperative even after I had to reschedule.

Great. The crew of three were very professional explaining the entire process & were able to pack & take the items to the storage facility in record time.

Guy and his team are AMAZING! From my initial call to get an estimate to final delivery and everyone I worked with along the way (Nirva, Sheri, Amber and all the movers), I can't say enough about. This company was a HUGE silver lining in a very stressful move for us. The attention to details, customer services, and cleanliness was way above expectation. I would not hesitate to recommend them and use them again in the future. A special thanks to Nirva who was my main point of contact throughout the process. You deserve an award for your responsiveness, kindness, and level of customer service you provided. Thank you for making this whole process the easiest process in what you typically hear nightmare stories about.

Forward Van Lines is by far the BEST moving company I have EVER worked with from initial contact start to finish! My initial Moving Consultant, Gaby, was EXCEPTIONAL... so very thorough in discussing and documenting my impending move. She was very responsive to phone calls and emails to make sure everything was set up correctly. On the big day they arrived right on time at 8:30am sharp and our moving foreman, Carlos, was AWESOME! He had his team of 3 more guys... and was very organized in lining everyone out of where they need to be and what they needed to be doing. They all took GREAT care with all of our furniture, boxes, and belongings. I was SO impressed with how they meticulously wrapped and protected everything, to their whole system of loading the truck. Even though the move took a little longer than we planned moving from a house to a condominium building which is difficult, Carlos and his team were all so positive and professional throughout the VERY long day! They cleaned up all the plastic, tape & any trash too!! I would HIGHLY recommend to my family, friends... anyone!!!

highly professional guys, in time, strong and fast. The whole Gym was moved by 5 guys in 3 hours without any damage. The best what money can buy!
