We hired Foundation 1 for a handful of foundation jobs. They did great until they disappeared from off the map. They haven't returned calls in over a week, jobs were left undone, their physical address is chained up and looks abandoned. Looks like they just disappeared off the face of the map!

Josh, David and Cody worked very hard and did a wonderful job of getting my patio and sidewalks mud jacked. I appreciated their professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile to get me taken care of. Access was difficult, and that concrete mix looked very heavy to haul up the hill, so I feel very fortunate to have this team assigned to my project. Thanks!

The appointment for the bid was made quickly and the evaluator was very professional. He answered all of my questions and the bid was provided in a timely manner. The project was scheduled within a couple of weeks. The work was completed in two days and the work crew did a good job. There was a little bit of a language barrier with the foreman and crew.

We used Foundation1 to completely rebuild 2 basement walls and push another one back up and support it. They did a great job and done it quickly and professionally. I do not live in the KC area and needed to find a contractor that could be counted on to be honest and stand behind their work. Foundation1 has fit that bill. The work I had done was a year and a half ago and the basement has stayed dry the whole time. Definitely would recommend!!

Foundation 1 just completed a big yard project for us and did an incredible job. They buried and rerouted our downspouts, they dug a swale in our backyard and re-graded part of our yard. The supervisor of the job was incredibly kind, communicative and respectful. They kept us up to date on the progress of the work. We had two rain days in the middle of the job, they made sure to call and let us know that they wouldn't be there that day and would pick up where they left off the following day. All around very impressed with our experience with Foundation 1 from the initial quote to the final product and will definitely utilize them for any future needs.

The team did great both waterproofing the exterior of our basement wall as well as regrading the exterior landscaping to assure better drainage away from the house. Billy and his team were punctual, always polite, and quick to respond. They took extra care to make sure nearby landscaping stayed in tact - something small that made a big difference once all was said and done. They were transparent if any issues arose and took care of things quickly. Very happy with the whole experience.

We are so happy with our new patio! The Foundation1 hardscape team was an absolute pleasure to work with the entire time. John was extremely responsive to all of my questions and concerns throughout the design process. Once they were able to get started, they worked extremely quickly, in the hottest week of the year. They had to dig out and replace our wall/patio completely by hand because our house is raised and getting equipment back there is not feasible. And yet, they worked so efficiently, they made the job seem easy - and it definitely was not! They were also extremely thorough! And were very willing to help me out in small side projects that we added on as we went. Even after the main project was completed, they came back to tackle the tuck-pointing because they didn't want to rush it. They even came back on two separate occasions when I was concerned about the drainage on small spots on the patio. They take a lot of pride in their work and want to make sure their customers are happy. I would definitely hire them again (although they did such a great job, I don't think I'll need another patio for 50+ years.)

I was ABSOLUTELY amazed with Foundation 1. They were so easy to work and made us feel important and well taken care. The crew was polite and knowledgeable. The work they performed to help us with a basement leak was done timely and we have had no issues since! Foundation 1 came out for an estimate within days of my call and then had the job completed expeditiously! Foundation 1 was recommended to me by a family member who was also highly satisfied with their work, and I would recommend them to anyone needing Foundation repairs.

This company does it ALL! When we called to get a quote on few projects around our house we found out all other extra things they do. I was so impressed by the professionalism and quality work they do. We got our house waterproofed (had a private pool on the side of our house), few drains installed in ground, mudjacking (lifted our driveway and steps) and fixed our sump pump to drain correctly and more. Our foreman was extra awesome and they left the site clean as a whistle. We will definitely use them for our future projects and we already recommended them to our relatives. A1 is A+ in my book!

Josh and his mudjacking crew did a great job. The driveway had to be lifted quite a bit and it's level with the garage entry again. The drainage issue is also fixed. I didn't catch the name of the men that worked on the foundation, but that turned out great as well.

We needed mud-jacking done to lift the front step and a portion of our driveway that had dropped. Cassell came out and provided me with a very comprehensive quote in a very timely manner. With all the rain we had it was difficult to schedule a time to have the work done. Stephanie with Foundation 1 was very helpful with keeping us informed as to when the job could be scheduled and done. Once Scheduled Josh and his team were prompt and efficient and had everything back where it needed to be and cleaned. I would absolutely recommend Foundation 1 to anyone needing this kind of work done!

Foundation 1 replaced our 28-year-old sump pump. They worked efficiently and did a quality job. They were diligent in protecting our hardwood floor and carpet, and they did a thorough job cleaning up when finished. Our only difficulty was they left the outside water on after mixing the cement, which caused the outside faucet to rupture. However, Foundation 1 addressed our issue and Matt did an excellent job in replacing the faucet. All in all, we are happy with Foundation 1.

I used Foundation One to lift my drive way in my recently purchased house. It had sunken enough that I was unable to pull into the garage. Josh and his partner came out for two days and lifted the concrete of the driveway, the sidewalk, and the porch and now it looks great. It was a good price too. I would recommend them in the future.

The Foundation 1 Company was very professional and easy to work with. They provided user language so that a non construction entity could relate. The time line projected was on target. The workmen were very efficient and completed their task proficiently within twenty hours. The final products are beautiful and adds an asset to the property.

I recently had lots of work done by foundation 1. They put in 7 piers in our foundation, poured a new garage floor, driveway, raised sidewalk up to the original level before it settled, and changed gutter to empty out to the street and into the sewer instead of draining back under the garage which caused all the problems in the first place. They were excellent. no problems or issues during the week long process. The workers were very respectful and. cleaned up after themselves each day. The quality of the work is very apparent and even did extra things without charging more. The price originally quoted 6 months ago was the final price. Everyone from the first estimator Billie Kronke, John Cloufin, the schedule and overseer to the workers, Benito, Silester and Raymond were easy to work with. There were others who did a great job as well, I just don't remember their names. Overall, the finish work is really nice looking and adds to my house. I'm very happy and would definitely use Foundation 1 again. 5 stars.

I hired Foundation 1 after receiving their quote and 2 other similar companies for a drainage mitigation issue in our backyard. Foundation 1 was fairly priced and had a more comprehensive, well engineered solution. From start to finish, I was impressed by their good communication, customer service. Special thanks to Cassell on the quote, Stephanie on scheduling, and Freddie, job foreman. The 2-day job went smoothly, Freddie and crew were professional, courteous, timely and left the job site in good shape. They went above and beyond to complete the work as specified. Freddie took initiative and improved a trouble area in my landscaping which improved the overall drainage. For anyone who has done remodeling, construction or hiring contractors - it can be stressful to chose the right one - someone trusted/ethical and knowledgeable. Foundation 1 is a company I trust and their quality staff reflect their quality service and standards.

The crew that came out was very polite. All their digging in the yard was done by hand. They did a great job of cleaning up and you can hardly tell where they were digging. They were prompt and kept us informed as the job progressed.
