Foundation King

Foundation was repaired and leveled, but the person who came out to give the quote indicated that the skirting would be repaired and that a rotted beam at the front of the house would be replaced, and that all piers would be strapped with five (5) straps for lateral stability. The piers were replaced but only one strap was used, several of them were broken, and the rotted beam was not replaced. I didn't say anything about it when the repair was done, so they may have fixed those things if I'd been more on the ball about inspecting their work. But I don't think the details of the repair were well communicated to the work crew. The actual installation of the piers went well and the house is still level, so the main purpose of the job was achieved well enough.

They are A rated with Angie's List, and with BBB, so we thought they would be good. In the beginning, they started to level the house, but they used regular wood on the ground. I told them they can't do that because of termites, they need to use treated wood. He said it was a misunderstanding, so they took it all off and went to get treated wood. When they put the skirt on, it was wavy all the way down, going in and out. He said it will be okay and will look fine when finished. They had to keep building up cement on the side, didn't put a footing for the skirt to rest upon except the ground. The cement has developed 15 cracks all around the skirting. They had to keep coming out to patch the cracks. They got concrete all over the vents they installed around the house, and all over the gutter downspouts near the ground. It's a mess and they never tried to clean any of it and they left everything undone and dug up. All my plants died on that side of the house because of dirt and debris being thrown on them. They left everything exposed for about 2 months. I called them to see if they could come clean it up, and they threw dirt all over the place, including dumping the cement wherever instead of disposing it. I called them to let them know that our doors aren't closing in the back of the house. They said they can fix it. They came and lowered the latches down, instead of fixing the foundation part, exposing the spot where the latches used to be. The floor near my guest bedrooms are all warmed and uneven from the foundation being uneven, and the doors are so uneven that one drags across the carpet, and the other has a huge gap. We went to visit them at their office, but there was no office there... It was an address for a home that is located in a gated community, and the home is up for rent. I have asked for Clay, the owner, to come out and look at it. I just wanted to meet with him and show him the work, and he won't even come out, he absolutely refuses. Instead, he sent out his son in law, Lewis. The contract was signed on February 2nd and this has been going on since February, it is now June 20th, and they are not answering or returning any of our phone calls.

After unsatisfactory experiences with other foundation companies, Foundation King did an excellent job. They were professional, knowledgeable, and completed the job as scheduled. We were extremely happy with the work they did!

Absolutely amazing! Foundation King was so incredibly easy to work with! The day I called to inquire about scheduling an appointment for a consult to stabilize my foundation, Clay showed up at my house. He explained everything that I needed and provided great detail in how the process should work. The quote he provided was very reasonable considering the amount of work his company had to perform. Foundation King showed up when they said they would and provided the exact work prescribed in the contract. The workers did the best they could to return the area back to normal once all of the work was complete. Foundation King went above and beyond to make this process as stress free as possible and we sincerely appreciate the effort. I would HIGHLY recommend Foundation King!

They answered my calls and set up time to do work. The work went ahead right on schedule and was completed in a timely manner. There were no price increases. No pressure on sales. Left the site clean.  Friendly and considerate salesperson.</strong> <br />

They fixed all the piers and beams that needed to be repaired. Everything just took a day. Clay was amazing to work with and explained everything. <br />

After several calls and frustrating quotes I was referred by a close friend to Foundation King, not only did they explain exactly what they where going to do, but they made sure to take their time and explain everything in detail until I was comfortable with it.  They did everything expected and the company's quote was significantly lower than their competitors.  Thank you Foundation King

This company was great. I had work done in the past by another company that went out of business. Needless to say I was unhappy with them. But Foundation King came in and quickly got my problems taken care of. They were very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. I now have a much better understanding of foundation problems and what to look for thanks to them. The were able to accommodate my schedule and took care of my problems fast. I cannot say enough good things about them. I'm extremely happy with everything about them; price, scheduling and personnel. <br />

They put  35 piers around the outside of my home to level the outside. The center of my house was unleveled from the previous plumbing leak. They made a huge tunnel under my home to get to the center. They installed 5 piers in the center of my house to level the home. The men were very courteous and on time. It started raining in the middle of the job and I though "Oh my Gosh". It rained for 4 days straight. Some how they blocked the water from getting under my house. It was a muddy mess and when they were done the job was cleaned up nice and neat. Job took 16 days. <br />
