He had a good review on Angie’s List. I hired him. He assured me he was licensed and competent, said he could repair everything to code standards, promised excellent workmanship and gave us a timeline of approximately three weeks. He forwarded me more supposed Angie’s List reviews. All lies. BEWARE!! CHRIS FOUNTAIN IS A TERRIBLE HANDYMAN/CONTRACTOR!! His work crew consists of him, his girlfriend and sometimes his uncle. His phone always went straight to voicemail. It was always too full to take messages. He lied about when he would be there. He completed nothing as he said he would. He made what he wanted, not what I did. He and his girlfriend both used their personal problems to force me more than once to pay him for work not yet done. Then he would take a week off without saying anything. His crew ate and drank my supplies twice without asking first. Horrible workmanship- exposed nails, sharp metal edges, splintered wood, gaps left between doors, walls, and floors. He turned in a small pile of receipts January 18th that he said were from my job. 4 of those turn out dated months before I hired him. I will be sending photos of his shoddy work and reporting him to the Secretary of State and the Better Business Bureau. BEWARE! DO NOT HIRE CHRIS FOUNTAIN OR FOUNTAIN CONSTRUCTION AND HANDYMAN SERVICES, LLC.!!!
