Four Seasons Granite

<p>Love the product.  We selected Wilson Arno Quartz tops.</p> <p>Price was very competitive.  Fast turn around on install.  They template on Tuesday and installed on Thursday.</p> <p>Problems with install.  Guys were very courteous. The should read install directions.  They brought in top for cook top and then cut out hole inside the house. This raised all kinds of dust.  The island top was never glued down on the first run.  The sink was a granite sink and it took three tries to install.  Not happy with this part.  I finally made my own cleats and installed them myself and this has worked fine.  The installer stated that there was not enough room, but I had no problem. The sink base is a standard 36" and the sink was a standard 33".  Keep an eye on sink install if you use them.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Product and price were good, but just watch them on the install.</p> <p>MS</p>

Great service from start to finish and at a great price! I typically do not submit reviews for companies unless I have had excellent service or bad service, and this was excellent. The whole process from getting a quote to installation of the granite was wonderful. I would recommend Four Seasons without a doubt!

I read the reviews from others before hiring Four Seasons.  Most people seemed happy with the finish product and pricing, but the reviews about communication and punctuality were quite spotty.  I figured it was worth a shot.  I can say that the reviews were fairly accurate.  Beyond the initial estimates, I found responses to be quite slow.  The install was supposed to take two days.  Instead, it took four because on two of the days, we were stood up and no one showed to do the work (after we had arranged to be home from work those days).  Additionally, when the subcontractor finally arrived to do the backsplash, he said that he had not been told about removing the old backsplash (which I made clear was part of our request).  The sub called Four Seasons to say his price went up $375, and Four Seasons promptly contacted me to say that 'due to the complexity of the job, the price went up $375."  Four Seasons simply forgot to tell the sub about the removal.  At this point, my backsplash had already been ripped out, so there was no turning back.  In my opinion, a reputable company would have acknowledged their oversight and eaten it (especially a company that claims, "no surprises" when it comes to pricing).  The total price we paid for the kitchen was still reasonable, and if it weren't for the poor handling of the backsplash pricing, I would have otherwise given them an A.  The quality of the work was decent.  One of the seams is a bit wider and messier than I would have liked (I've remodeled a kitchen before, and have seen what excellent quality looks like), and on one side of the kitchen, the granite wasn't cut to be flush with the wall, causing us to improvise with the backsplash to cover it.  Overall, the kitchen does look a lot better than before so I'm happy about that.  But do be prepared to follow up again, and again and again.  And definitely have a contingency built into your budget!! <br />

Sent out request to several companies for kitchen granite countertop estimates based on measurements I provided.  Pedro Medina, owner, responded in less than 24 hours. Within a couple of days from the initial response was able to schedule an on-site meeting to discuss project and get final measurements/cost.  Pedro arrived promptly and we immediately felt at ease with him, his knowledge and scope of what we wanted to have done.  Talked through how long the project would take and next steps.  The following Saturday met Pedro at his showroom to review edges, etc. and visited a couple of granite suppliers provided by Pedro to pick our granite slabs.   The following week Curt came to our home to prepare the template.  Great guy to work with . . .gave us much confidence knowing the same person making the template was the same individual cutting and making the countertops.  He was very knowledgeable and understood what we wanted.  Less than a week from then the installers came to finish the project.  In removing the old countertops great care had to be taken as our wallpaper was a discontinued pattern and could not be replaced or repaired.  Not one scratch or ding to the wallpaper!  We have a large kitchen so the project took about 12 hours but Gianni, the installer, was excellent and very professional.  He did a great job!  Curt even dropped by during installation to check on how things were progressing.  Upon completion of the project they left our place clean and neat.  Very, very happy with the outcome.  From first meeting to completion was 3 weeks.  Would definitely use 4 Seasons again and have already recommended them to a couple of friends we know that are planning to update their kitchens and/or bathrooms.  Pedro and all involved were wonderful to work with . . .we couldn't be happier! <br /> We are now working with Pedro on another project - replacing and expand our cabinets in our laundry room to match our kitchen cabinets.

They were quick to respond to come give us an estimate and then met us at the granite yard to pick the color. We were down to 2 colors and they suggested we go with one that they said would be the easier one for finding tile for the backslash. We went with their suggestion which was a mistake. We had a terrible time finding tile to use with their suggestion. We had to hire an interior designer to help with the choice. When we contracted with them we asked for a piece of granite that we could use to take with us to pick out the tile which they did not give us and we had to go back to them for it. Their work was good and they were quick. They also provided a plumber up the plumbing at the time of the installation. They were nice to work with except for picking the color of the granite.

<p>Except for one item, the subs performed excellent quality work.  The granite is lovely and well installed.  The work in the laundry room, closet, and bathroom is very good. The remaining issue is a plug that wasn't moved in the bathroom, so I can't use it when drying my hair.  The subs came on time.  My main problem with this company is the total lack of communication.  Our main contact was Pedro Medina.  There are no call backs and no responses to emails.  Communication doesn't seems to be a problem when an invoice is submitted -- you will get the email and two follow up calls within a few days of receiving that.  Otherwise, silence.   I see this is an issue with other reviewers and wish I had paid more attention to the communication problem because you are in the dark until Pedro calls to tell you the subs are coming.  He makes timeline promises he can't keep.  I have emailed twice about the plug.  No reply yet.  The subs would get an A down the line, but my view of this company has been significantly damaged because of the poor communication.  </p> <br />

They are sometimes difficult to get a hold of, and we had a few miscommunications about the project.  The quality of their work is good, but not great.  But the price was right, and since we were on a budget and we had used them before for bathroom vanity countertops, we knew what to expect and were willing to use them again. <br />

I am a real picky person. I usually do a lot of work myself because I don't like the workmanship and prices I have gotten often in the past.But these folks were excellent! Perfect seams. Great price. Great people to work with.I checked and visited most granite people in the city. Was happiest with these folks from the start and very happy at the finish.I like to show off the craftsmanship of our counters.I plan to use these folks for our bathrooms soon.

Overall positive experience during installation. There was a little confusion as to whether I needed Corbels to support the countertops and there was a lot of back and forth on the topic.  Important note: Although it's been over a year, and I have not addressed this issue with the supplier, an uneven surface has developed at the seam of my kitchen countertop.

Decided to replace old countertops in kitchen as well as a tile backsplash. Went to Angie's list. Saw that 4-Seasons had the high service reward so we called them. Pedro Medina (owner) came to house and made an estimate. He also told my wife places to go to select granite and tile. Once selection was made, it went very fast. 4-Seasons picked up the granite and tile from distributor. An employee came to the house and made overlays so granite could be cut precisely. The next week all work was performed in two days (tile backsplash took the two days). Pedro came back personally and sealed the back splash. 4-Seasons was the only one we called. We are very satisfied and will recommend to others.

Pedro met me at the granite distributor and helped me choose a color that would go well in my kitchen. <br /> He then did a quote and e-mailed it to me.  Once I OK'd the price, Pedro got my granite into production.  They did an excellent job!  Everything fit perfectly and the colors are awesome.  This company really knows their stuff! <br />

I would like to start off and say we are amazed how easy and affordable <br /> the entire project was.  We had our kitchen and bathroom  countertops <br /> changed to granite. They explained in great detail the process and <br /> answered our questions when we had them. They referred us to a local <br /> granite slab yard where we made our color choice. They came out and <br /> built the template with us there and allowed us to make size adjustments <br /> while they did the template. In a few days they came back out to <br /> install the granite. They removed our old ugly laminate tops and <br /> installed the granite. The island looked fabulous, they where able to <br /> make our long bar top in one piece with out seams or joints. The <br /> bathroom vanities also where a great transformation. We love the under <br /> mount sinks what a great addition with no extra charge for cuts.  They <br /> referred us a plumber who reconnected the drains and installed our new <br /> faucets. <br /> What a great experience we would absolutely refer them to anyone!  <br />

The knowledge, patience and professionalism of this family owned company was evident from the initial estimate.  Their price was extremely competitive, but we made the decision based on our confidence level and their refusal to denigrate any other company.  Integrity is important to us.The template process was careful and thorough, and details were checked and verified with us.Two of the family members went with us to select our stone, and here is where patience and knowledge were a key indicator to us that we had made the right choice.  A practiced eye is so helpful when "falling in love" with a particular granite slab.The installation was unhurried and done with extreme care to damage nothing.  The seams were artful (translate blended with the stone colors) and polished flat.  The fit was flawless, and extra care was taken with a difficult ledge corner to make it perfect.A "mid-stream" change in our stone decision for the master bath was accommodated graciously, and with a surprisingly minimal charge for the upgrade.We can't say enough about this family company and their commitment to excellence.  Everyone there cares about the customer.  When the template person tells you he is fortunate to work for them, they are doing something right.Granite isn't something we will have done over and over, so we are very very thankful that we made the right choice the first time.

Pedro was great to deal with. The staff removed the old materials but usually arrived late. Final result was very good and we recommend Four Seasons Granite.

The owner, Pedro, arrived the week before to give us an estimate on quartz countertops and backsplashes for our kitchen.  He sent a gentleman that same week to do the template, the quartz was ordered the the very next week they arrived to install.  The countertops are beautiful, the work was excellent and everyone was very professional, very service oriented and very accomodating.  Would definitely use them again.

 Everything they did in the house was perfect.  They were very easy to work with very good suggestions and recommendations.  Our builder has used them successfully in other projects.  This company is good!
