Fox & Kelloggs Cleanings

It was a very disappointing experience. We hired this company to perform a **deep clean** of our property after the previous tenants moved out and before our new tenants arrived on **June 27, 2026**. We provided a comprehensive room-by-room cleaning checklist detailing exactly what needed to be completed. Unfortunately, it appears that very little of that work was actually done. When the new tenants arrived, they immediately began sending us photos of the condition of the home. The refrigerator shelves and drawers were still filthy, the kitchen and bathroom drawers were full of dirt and hair, and the stove, microwave, and inside of the refrigerator still had grease and grime left behind by the previous tenants. The floors were dirty, the window sills had not been cleaned, the shower glass was covered in soap scum, and the bathroom floors were dusty. Overall, the home looked as though no one had performed a proper deep cleaning. The checklist we provided included, among many other items: * Cleaning the inside and outside of all cabinets and drawers * Cleaning all appliances inside and out * Removing soap scum from showers and polishing shower glass * Dusting vents, baseboards, trim, and window sills * Cleaning windows, mirrors, and tracks * Sweeping and mopping all LVT flooring * Completing a final quality inspection before leaving Many of these items were clearly left undone. What made the experience even more frustrating was the company's response. After we raised our concerns, it was implied that we had underestimated the amount of work involved. However, we made it clear from the beginning that the information we provided came directly from our property manager's assessment of the home. We also supplied the complete cleaning checklist before the work began. If, upon arriving at the property, the cleaners believed the scope of work exceeded the agreed price, the professional approach would have been to contact us and discuss repricing the job before proceeding. Instead, they performed what appeared to be only a surface clean, left many major tasks incomplete, and the new tenants moved into a home that was nowhere near the standard we expected. As landlords, this reflected poorly on us despite our best efforts to ensure the property was ready. We now have to arrange for additional cleaning after the tenants have already taken possession. Overall, we are extremely disappointed with both the quality of the work and the lack of communication. We cannot recommend this service based on our experience.
