Value - A, Communication - D Short version: Chris Fox is great but I got frustrated with not knowing if/when he was coming. Details: Chris Fox designed and installed my irrigation 5 years ago and helped me get a well. I was very happy with everything and felt it was a good value. At that time, I rated his company as an "A" and recommended him to my neighbors. Since then he has been doing annual and ad hoc maintenance on the irrigation system he installed. My only issue has been communication. I leave voicemails that may or may not get answered with a call back. Chris may then show up without an appointment and try to do what is needed without talking to me, leaving a note, or leaving a voice mail. For my last inquiry, after my second voicemail, I got a voicemail response from a nice lady that said he had been here and did not see the issue. So is not that he isn't making the effort to do the requested work. Rather he does not tell me so I usually have no idea if he got the message, if/when he is planning to come. I would consider using Chris Fox again if he kept me better informed,

Mr. Fox was so nice. They were very prompt and after the service was complete they called me back to see if it would be ok to send someone else out to inspect the work and make sure if was done correctly.

We were pleased at how the irrigation job went that we decided to have them to sod the front yard and do some landscaping work. They did an excellent job and would not hesitate to call again.

They have done very well. I have no complaints. They did a very nice job. It wasn’t a lot of money but it was reasonable. I have no way to comparing their price to anyone else but it was a fair price.

<p>Chris - owner of this family biz showed up on time for a bid - he was fair in price & offered his advice - very friendly down to earth honest chap ! The bid / contract was received quickly as promised - the crew arrived promptly on time to begin the project</p> <p><br /></p> <p>I am going to use his landscape co to put in some large shrub trees & a </p> birch tree I will purchase to put in my yard areas & also fix the front flower bed sprinkler system the developer put in. <br />

We wanted a huge flower bed with stepping stones in our backyard. Of course, we wanted this done right away, but Chris was busy. However, once he heard what we wanted and realized it wasn't a huge job, he squeezed us in. Knowing how busy he was, Chris was very responsive. He suggested two sprayings of weed killer to clear out the crabgrass, so we had a 2 week wait time. It turned out we had 2 sprayings and didn't need to do the flower bed. When we contacted Chris he volunteered to return some of the 'down payment" we gave him. We were pleasantly surprised at how much he was willing to return. Chris is very trustworthy and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. <br />

"they were stepping stones home owner pick out,we move stepping stones 6 times then we dug in with aproval of home owner, she came out change placement of a couple we fixed them. job was finished, we remove all old pavers, with out charge."

Because my gate is too small to permit big equipment, all had to be done by hand. He and his crew dug out the backyard, removed the sand and dirt in wheelbarrows, laid the black ground cover and base and carried in the pavers. It was a lot of work to get done in 21/2 days....but they got the job done quickly and it is sensational. The crew was efficient, skillful and fun to be around. Chris is easy to deal with and knows what he is doing. I would recommend his company to anyone looking to spiff up their yard and put in a patio, walkway or flowerbeds. I got many bids before going ahead with this project. I checked four different references. He is a high value guy with high standards for quality. My wife and I love what they did. <br />

He made an absolute mess on our property. A job that was supposed to only cost $16000 is now going to cost us $25000. The provider built a platform in our backyard that was six feet off of the ground. Our builder had told us that the provider was not skilled in this kind of work. We asked the provider to leave our property after he screamed at us. They try to represent themselves as hardscapers and they are not hardscapers. It was completely unacceptable work.

"THIS WAS A JOB THAT STARTED OUT GREAT, PLENTY OF PREP TIME MANY MEETINGS, WHEN JOB STARTED, ALOT OF CHANGES TO PATIO, WALK WAYS, NOT GOING BY DRAWING WERE CHANGE BY HOME OWNER NUMEROUS TIMES, WE WERE TRYING TO WORK WITH HOME OWNER TO PLEASE HIM, WE COMMUCATING WITH EVERY DAY, WENT WRONG, WHEN NEXT DEPOSIT WAS DUE, READY TO INSTALL STONE FOR PATIO DAY BEFORE HOME OWNER LIKE EVERYTHING LIKE PROGRESS, THAT NIGHT OTHER HOME OWNER WHO WAS NOT INVOLED WITH THE HARDSCAPING SAID DID NOT LIKE ANYTHING AND WE GOING HAVE TAKE OUT I DID LOSE MY TEMPER AFTER 4 DAYS OF CHANGES WORKING AROUND OTHER CONTRACTORS HAVING A WELL GUY FLOOD JOB SITE TWICE, TO BE TOLD HE WANTED TO MAKE PATIO LOWER TO GROUND,AFTER WE WERE DONE WITH BASE, AND GETTING READY TO INSTALL PATIO STONE. I APOLOGIESED AND WE WOULD CHANGE BACK PATIO, HE SAID WE WOULD DISCUSS WITH ME AND CALL ME BACK NEVER CALLED. ALL I KNOW WHAT HE DOING WITH JOB IS NOT WHAT WE AGREED ON HE PICK STONE WE BOUGHT IT FROM WHO HE WANT TO GET STONE FROM, WE DID NOT MESS UP PROPERITY WE STAYED IN ONE CORNER OF PROPERITY, ALL TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT AND TRASHED WERE PUT AWAY AND REMOVED EVERY DAY I HAVE BEEN INSTALLINGBEEN IN BUISNESS SINCE 1994 HARDSCAPING SINCE 1995 AND HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH A CUSTOMERS, WE USUALLY LEAVE AS FRIENDS AND USUALLY BECOME CUSTOMER FOR A LONG TIME"
