This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with any type of contractor. They responded quickly. Everyone I interacted with was very nice. They picked up the table, did the work, and delivered it more quickly than their estimated timetable. And the work far exceeded my expectations. The table is old and had seen many, many years of hard use. They ask lots of specific questions until they understood exactly how I wanted it to look when they were finished. They obviously did the work with great care, adding a some extra stabilization and filling a small hole without detracting from the rustic nature of the piece. Our cherished family table is ready for many more years of use. I look forward to working with Frankenstein Furniture Co. again in the future!!

In addition to the current job, I have successfully used Frankenstein Furniture to repair / refurbish a mahogany dining room table, a two drawer cherry chest, two walnut rocking chairs, an oak end table, an oak play table and a round oak side table. I don't believe there is a job that they can't do well, at a reasonable price and on time. They are also very good people who are pleasure to work with.

I can't stop looking at my coffee table. It needed some TLC to the top and they made it look better than when it was purchased. The woodgrains show and the finish is rich and has a great lustre. They touched up additional areas to complete the overall finished look. They pick up and deliver! Also the work was turned around quickly. I can't wait to work with them again.

As usual the work was excellent. Both chairs were taken apart and put back together while maintaining their antique look. Both chairs were very rickety and now are stronger than when they were new, 100+ years ago. The end table was restored while maintaining the intricate pattern on the table top and the small antique wooden coffee grinder's wood was restored. I have now had Frankenstein Furniture restore a water damaged dining room table, a round table, three types of chairs, a two drawer chest, two types of end tables and a small coffee grinder. All of the jobs were done perfectly. I don't believe there is any type of antique wood furniture restoration job they can't handle and they are very reasonably priced.

Frankenstein Furniture is terrific! Craig, Rob and Michelle are wonderful to work with did an amazing job on the repairs and refinishing of our mid-century vintage tables and chairs. I can't say enough good things about Frankenstein. Don't bother to look any further, just call them!

Once again Frankenstein delighted me! They had done excellent refinishing work – precious dining room table and chairs – for me previously. This most recent project was a repair: reattaching a leg to a piano bench. When I called, I wondered whether they would be interested in performing the relatively small task, but they said immediately that they would be glad to help. Now, following the repair, I am thankful that I can have confidence in the sturdiness of the bench when my visiting son and grandchildren sit on it. (In addition to repairing the one leg, Craig also checked the other three legs: He offered to do so before I could request it, as I had planned.) In addition to doing splendid furniture refinishing and repair work, Craig and his wife, who assists him, both are so nice. One example: When Craig picked up the piano bench from me, I mentioned to him that it might soon have another refinishing job for him; he examined the item and suggested a product that I might be able to use to fix the cosmetic – but not insignificant – damage myself.

Very nice people the service was great. They picked up my loveseat on a Friday I had it back the following Monday. Everything was explained to me as to how it was fixed after it was returned. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone needing furniture repaired.

Frankenstein Furniture did a fantastic job on all of the pieces. Nobody would know there were ever any problems with any of the items. The work was reasonably priced and delivered when promised. I would recommend anyone with antique wood furniture in need of restoration to bring it here. The owners are extremely nice people, who I would trust with any restoration job. I am very glad I found this company and I plan to use them again.

I had two antique chairs that needed to be tightened and one antique table that needed to have a side panel reattached. Frankenstein Furniture did a great job bringing these antiques back to life. Their services are by appointment only so you need to “apply” and then, if they accept the work, you work with them on pick up drop off and delivery. They had great communication and were delightful to work with. One caution - In the past, restorers returned my furniture in pristeen waxed condition - that I could never recreate at home. In this situation my furniture was finely fixed - but not waxed/polished. If a wax or polish is your expectation - you should state, not assume, this will happen.

Craig repaired and refinished a family heirloom dining table that had been sitting neglected in my basement for years. When he says "I bring your furniture back to life" he really does! GREAT. I called several companies, sent photos of table, and got really high estimates. Too high. Frankenstein's estimate was reasonable - neither low nor high. I wanted to get the table picked up and then returned after the work. I explained that I was not in any rush to get the job done and could schedule in the future when they had time to do the work and get the table back to me - as opposed to picking it up and having it sit around until there was time. I scheduled in the future accordingly. They got it on a Monday and returned it Friday, which was a pleasant surprised. The work was perfect.

The owner, Mr. Smith, was very professional. A pickup appointment was set up quickly and he was punctual both on pickup and delivery of the repaired item. The pricing was very reasonable and the repair done exactly as promised. I would both use this company again and would recommend to others

The refinishing was more than I expected on a water damaged side table. It came out looking like new. On another occasion I needed several chairs glued to make them sturdy. I don't think anything will pull them apart now.

I sent a photo of the end table and Craig gave me an estimate of $350.00. We set up a date for him to come and get the end table. He returned the finished end table the next day and it was beautiful. He didn't have to strip the end table to repair it so he didn't have to charge me as much. I am extremely happy with the job that was done and will definitely will use him again should the need arise.
