We hired Fred & Sons to remove a failing willow tree. I contacted them on Friday and they had a crew here Tuesday. The tree pro hit his exact mark, and the crew left the yard in better condition than I have ever seen it! They got the tree down, all the wood and stump removed within a few hours. The price was reasonable and as estimated.

I’ve used Fred &Sons three times over the last two years to remove unwanted furniture and other items from my home. They are very responsive, and typically complete the work a day or two after my contact. Their crews are efficient, and are very polite and careful to avoid damage to my home. For example, they removed a very bulky, heavy old freezer from my basement without needing to remove the banister on the stairs or leaving any damage on walls or doorways - a true mark of experience . They will dispose of any items, including chemical waste such as paint cans and herbicides, and the prices they charge are very competitive. I recommend them without any reservations.

I called Fred & Sons yesterday to see about removal of some large items ( eg. Freezer, refrigerator, desk, old TV) from my house that were no longer used. Don got back to me last night, gave me a reasonable quote after looking at pics of the items, and he and his crew removed the items today quickly and efficiently. I will use them again, and I highly recommend them.

Removed the part of the Willow tree, that came down, from the back yard (about 150 feet from the street) and cleaned up everything. Took 3 guys a little less than 2 hours.

It was great. I called to get a quote, had to leave a message but someone texted me back later and setup an appointment the next day for someone to come out and take a look at the tree. Once I got the quote they were out within the week to cut down the tree. I actually had a dentist appointment that morning, when I left they weren't there yet, but by the time I got home they had the tree down and were just cleaning everything up/hauling the cut up logs out to their truck. About a week later after the city marked the utilities they sent out someone to grind the stump and that was that. Very smooth and all taken care of very quickly. Taking down trees near power lines can be a bit risky, so I was expecting the cost to be in the $1000 price range, so when they came in under that, I thought it was a very fair price right off the bat and better than some other companies that also quoted me. Great experience and would definitely use again.

I contacted 4 different tree services for quotes. Fred and Sons responded same day and had the most reasonable price quote for the job. I was given ball park estimate (on a Sunday!) based on a picture sent via text to Don. And someone came the next day to confirm estimate. I was not home when workers came to do the job and was very pleasantly surprised to come home to a clean yard when job completed. This was a relatively small tree and not a big job so I was impressed with the quick and excellent customer service. Will definitely call them again for future services.

The job went superbly well which was in contrast to the previous week when I arranged with another contractor who didn't show up at all. Two strong and personable young men made quick work of our junk pile. after arriving when promised. The cost was low, I would have been happy to pay twice as much.

Job was excellent! Fred & Sons took care of the problem (limb hitting our roof) along with removing several other limbs that were encroaching on our home. They did an excellent job, were quick and cleaned up so well, we could hardly tell they had been there, except that we no longer had limbs hanging over our roof!

We were very pleased with this company. They followed through with everything that was promised. Easy text communication with the owner. They worked quickly and efficiently, cleaned up all the debris and were careful not to damage existing landscaping surrounding the tree. We will definitely keep their information for future use!

We unfortunately lost a good chunk of one of our trees, but with the help of Fred & Sons' Hauling and Tree Removal Service ([*** Link removed ***] we were able to have it cleaned up, cleared out and hauled away in a matter of hours. Called for estimate at 9:00 am. Received best estimate at 10:00 am and accepted. Work was started at 11:00 am the same day. I had to leave and returned at 4:30 pm. Other than the stump being cut to ground level as I requested you would never know a tree was there. Excellent job and cleanup. Payment was next day over the telephone after I determined the work was satisfactory.
