Fred always gets to the job when scheduled and completes in a timely fashion.

<p>I tried to stain new and old concrete last fall and some of it scraped off when covered with ice and snow over the winter.  Fred Nelson, an experienced house painter we trusted, offered to power wash it when he was in the area.</p> <br />

So far it seems to have gone very well.  He scraped away all of the old paint, which was in very bad shape.  He put on a coat of primer and the finishing coats, and the porch looks very nice now.  I thought his price was very reasonable considering all the scraping he had to do.

Fred came right away after my call and gave us an estimate, but told us he was abut 3 weeks out and he called in about 3 weeks and came on the 11th. He and his crew finished in one day. Very neat and job looks really good. <br /> Very pleasant and nice man to work with. <br />

It had been about 15 - 20 years since my house was painted.  The southern exposures were were fading and beginning to peal. <br /> I wanted to make sure that I hired a good experienced painter.  I used Angie's List to find 5 good painters.  After checking the reviews, I set up appointments with each painter.  Several companies had approximately the same price for the job.  My decision came down to how comfortable I was with the individual that I talked with.   Fred's Painting Service got the job.  <br /> The work began on October 12,2012 with a complete power wash.  The painting went very smoothly.  They even complied with my request to paint both sides of the shutters, which he had not included in the original estimate.  If you tell them that they may trim your bushes or trees as necessary, you should probably supervise the trimming.  I told them that they may trim back the tree limbs to at least 6' from the house.  I found that they removed 6" diameter limbs at the tree trunk.  It was not a disaster, just a misunderstanding. <br /> I definitely will have Fred's Painting Service paint my house again.  They are very good workers and very accommodating.  <br />

Fred and his team did an excellent job at a fair price. We are very pleased with the experience.

Fred arrived when he said he would; he had a paint chart and I picked out the paint and he then made a short trip out to buy paint.  He finished the room by 5p.m. the same day

He did everything very good.  He was very professional, friendly, and the price was reasonable.  He helped me to do a lot in getting my home ready to sell. He is thouroughly dependable and he does good work. He is a super nice guy. He has not called me back. This has actually happened twice to us.

Had three estimates from the List. Fred was in the middle, but was firm and the other two were open ended. Plus, we were very pleased when he did our exterior in 2008. The results are very good and Fred pays attention to detail.

Fred gave us his estimiate and came minutes early before his appointed time. He called back and set up a time. The e-mail estimate did not reach us so his wife mailed us one. We had to cancel our first appointment because of sickness and he easily agreed to the next week. He and his crew showed up on time, he called me the night before as to when to expect them. The finished all the work in one day; very neat and deligentworking crew.Would recommend Fred's painting and will have him back.

Work was done promptly and I was satisfied with the finished product. Price was reasonable. The crew properly installed several shutters that had been incorrectly installed sometime in the past.

Fred's exceded expectations. They were very fast and did excellent work. They took care of a lot of extra things that I did not have in the original scope of work, and when the job was complete, it looked awesome. Fred helped me with getting the right paint and made suggestions as to how to make the interior paint look great. I will call Fred again when I need paint work done.

Did an excellent, careful job. He was very easy to deal with. The only slight negative was that he was an hour and 15 minutes late for our first appointment. However he was punctual and worked hard all during the job.

The overall experience was excellent. Fred was able to come out quickly to quote the work and was able to get started on the work right away. He brought color samples to choose from and took care of getting all the paint and supplies. The painting was completed in 2 days. Out of three quotes Fred was the most reasonable. I look forward to using his services in the future. Thank you Fred!

Fred was great. Very responsive, showed up right on time for estimate and for both days of work. And the quality of his work was fantastic. He patched up lots of blemishes in the plaster in the process. The room looks better than ever. And not a drop of paint on the furniture. Thank you Fred!
