I hired Westedge to fix a drainage and eroding issue in my backyard. They came out to view the yard and provided an estimate on June 30, 2020. I felt I was quoted a fair price based on other estimates I received from other companies. I paid the deposit on **/**/2020. On July 2, 2020, they came out to complete the job and I paid the remaining balance. After the work was completed I was satisfied with the work. However, just three weeks later, the area that was supposed to have been fixed, collapsed and sunk in. I contacted WestEdge, and Mr. Monroe came out on July 24, 2020 to view the damages. He told me that he felt there was an underlying issue and would research it and get back to me. He failed to get back to me in a timely manner. After a few attempts to reach him, I finally made contact with him and he told me that I was on his schedule to get my yard repaired after the rain dried up. To date, I have not heard from him at all. I have tried to contact him several times. I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from this company.

"Ms. [Member Name Removed], Thank you for your business, we would like you to know that we appreciate you as a customer. Please understand that our delay in rectifying your issue with completed work was not an attempt to avoid services agreed upon between yourself and Mr. Monroe. As we are sure you're aware the month of August contained an extensive amount of rain making it very difficult for any drainage work to be completed and the only time we are aware of that you were not responded to was September 9th. Mr. Monroe and myself (Mr.Sledge) are in agreement that there is most likely an underlying issue that was not visible at the original service completion due to it being very dry at the time, surface water does not cause the ground to collapse, subsurface water is the culprit, our repair at your property was to rectify surface water. That being said, we have revisited your property, provided 2-3 yards of extra fill dirt, re-packed and regraded the area in hopes to rectify the issue. All of us at WestEdge Landscapes hope that the service provided yesterday 9/11/2020 is the solution to that issue, if the area collapses again then we must reevaluate the problem and address the subsurface water. We hope that our visit yesterday returned your view on us to a more positive tone, if further work is needed we would love to work with you any way we can, please note we are very busy this time of year and work very hard at reaching every customer in the most timely manner possible. We are human and fall short some days but everyday we actively try to keep our customers happy, and we work hard to keep good reviews and would appreciate your current review to be updated or removed. Thank you for your time and understanding. We hope you enjoy your weekend!"
