Since 2000, FRS Roofing has served homes and businesses across the greater Massachusetts area specializing in roof and gutter repair and installation. We are locally owned and insured, covered by workers compensation and general liability. We provide digital analysis estimating and explain all the steps being performed, as well as answer any questions the homeowner may have. No job is too big or too small. We offer guarantees on workmanship, our job sites are clean, and we make sure that every one of our customers is fully satisfied before we leave the site.

Worked with Alex to replace our roof (during the winter!) and replace a skylight. Super happy with how it turned out. Roof was a one day job just before a snowstorm.
Price was not out of line with other quotes but the deciding factor was that FRS noticed issues with our chimney and got that fixed along with the roof.

We needed some roof repair following damages from ice dams this winter, and FRS Roofing was recommended to us by a neighbor. We also had some issues with the gutters and the chimney that needed to be fixed. We're very happy with the work FRS did. The work plan was detailed and well explained. Their professional and efficient crew arrived on time and on schedule, and finished the work and cleaned up everything in 1 day. We would definitely recommend their services.

Joe was great to work with. He first presented the premier plan, but was willing to work within my budget. The work was quick and high quality. They found damaged wood on the roof, but stuck to their original estimate rather than trying to add extra costs for repairs. Erica, the project manager, was great as well. It's important to me to support local, family owned businesses. They did not disappoint.

Commercial Asphalt Shingle Roofing Installation or Replacement
I recently had FRS Roofing install a roof on my home. I was impressed with the way they conducted business, and I am very happy with the finished product. One of their salesmen, Joseph Costello went on my roof and filmed the issues he saw that needed attention. He showed me a video on his computer of the inspection he had just completed of my roof. He then showed me his suggestion of what should be done and also had samples of the materials that FRS would use on the roof replacement. I was impressed with the materials that would be used and chose FRS to replace my roof. I watched the roofers replace the roof and perform the work and cleanup. After the job was complete Joseph Costello once again went on the roof and filmed the finished product for me to view on his computer. Very happy with the entire process, Thank You.

Natural Slate Roofing Repair
FRS Roofing won the bid to fix the main slate roof and the 4 rubber porch roofs on my home. Chris from FRS provided the winning estimate after taking a meticulous inspection of the roofs which included identifying the number of slates needed to restore the main roof. He also explained why the rubber roofs installed by a local contractor 20 years ago had prematurely failed. The FRS work crews assigned to our project were all skilled and knowledgeable of their craft. Every crew member possessed a good demeanor and showed respect for our property. Once started, the job was completed without delay as can sometimes occur when a crew is pulled to work on another project. An unforeseen delay did occur when the chimney was being re-flashed. During the bidding process, all visible sides of the chimney appeared to be in fair shape. Once the crew could see the far side of the chimney, they discovered it was completely devoid of mortar. I was shown a photo of this miracle house of cards and immediately authorized a complete rebuild of the chimney which FRS performed at a reasonable additional cost. There were no surprises with the rubber roofs. The original fiber board underlayment which was disintegrating from water damage was replaced with a new material that is impervious to water. Also, the proper rubber was used on the edge strip to prevent it from peeling off as had happened on the old rubber roof. Overall, I am more than satisfied with the job and would not hesitate to use FRS roofing again for any property new or old!

FRS was great to work with for our roof replacement. They walked us through options, showed the material and answered all questions promptly. FRSRoofing is a great company to use. We just bought a small house with a very old roof. They came out right away to inspect it then spent an hour going over the condition, the products they use and the options for your roof replacement. You can easily reach them if any questions arise. FRS was terrific. They have a great team of people - initial inquiry, site visit, confirmation of scope & bid, getting the work done efficiently and keeping me informed throughout. The work looks great - they provided new roofs in a couple places on the house and important repairs in several others. When the rains came we didn't have leaks. HIghly recommend!

One of their professionals came out to my home and gave me an estimate and described what work they would do on a part of my roof that was not working correctly. I was totally impressed with the work they did to fix this, I had them come out and roof and gutter my garage. I am very glad with my decision to use FRS Roofing and Gutters.

FRS, in March of 2021, patched and replaced leaky gutters and downspouts on our 4-story brick bow front in Boston's historic South End. They also patched leaks in the rubber roof, some of them involving complicated dormer windows. FRS is a first-rate company. They reply promptly and politely to inquiries and requests. They have a skilled and knowledgeable crew of roofers and gutter specialists. They show up on time and stick to agreed schedules. They stand behind their work, responding quickly to any problems. Their bids are based on thorough and careful inspection of the proposed job. (They were the only company that would partially dismantle a roof deck to look for the source of a leak, rather than insist on removal of the entire deck.) They are fairly priced and provide a detailed break out of the costs. Their customer service staff follows up to assure that the work was satisfactorily performed. I highly recommend this company.

Paul came to give me an estimate for the gutters to be removed and some to be replaced. He examined the gutters from a ladder and explained well the specifics of the project. He and the supervisors were attentive to the questions I raised and replied promptly to phone calls. Everyone of the staff were friendly and the supervisors I spoke with paid attention to any concerns I had and followed through. I would recommend them highly.
