We had several kitchen cabinets and drawers and some desk drawers that were in various stages of disrepair. We found Furniture Refinishing Services online and submitted a request for help. William called that same day and then came to our house the next morning. He immediately began the repair work, which was difficult and required real expertise and experience. He did a terrific job at a VERY reasonable price. He was amazing to watch. We feel so fortunate to have found him and the company. We love it being a family business that has thrived on quality work, responsiveness, honesty and attitude. And, William was fun to watch and to talk with! His family story is just wonderful and represents genuine caring for others in need. So, we will use Furniture Refinishing Services as our go to home repair, furniture refinishing and kitchen remodeling advisor and service provider going forward. 5 stars is not enough!!! William did an awesome job! I bought a second hand table that was a mess and he made it look brand new. His pickup and delivery was prompt and the work was done in a very short time. His prices were competitive If not better than others I contacted. He made sure I was happy with the completed job and I would definitely use him again.

We bought this dining room table which was a beautiful design but the table top was damaged with a lot of scratches and water marks. We decided to have it refinished as we have looked for a while for a style we liked. When the table was delivered, the finish was very nice BUT a lot lighter than we wanted. William said "send it back" with the delivery people and we will make it right. Just got the table back today and it is awesome. It is darker and matches the chairs perfectly. We live in Brenham which is approximately 60 miles from their shop. We are very happy with the result and would definitely use them again for future needs.

William restored and refinished my mother's kitchen table that was passed on to me and did a beautiful job. He is so knowledgeable when it comes to antiques, woodwork and furniture restoration. He's patient, easy to work with and very quick to complete the job. You will not find better pricing anywhere for this quality of work. Excited to finally have someone to restore all my antique finds!

The color he used was much darker than what we approved. There was no consistency in the color. We paid him to build and stain shelves. He did not deliver us our shelves until he was contacted twice by our attorney.

"[Member Name Removed]- I am really sorry you feel this way but an "F" rating is a little preposterous. We did approximately 10 color samples for you, with us coming out to your residence each time at no charge. The wall units were not stained or finished until the color was finally approved by you. Then once they were completed and you were not satisfied, we stripped it down and refinished it again with a different shade that was approved for the second time. All at no additional cost. Then you left to go out of town for two weeks in the middle of the job and wouldn't allow work to be performed on it while away, which delayed the entire process and prolonged completion. The (4) shelves that you are referring to were built by an outside carpenter (whom I will admit that I hired and will take responsibility for) and were prolonged because their entire office was exposed to COVID-19 and shut down for two weeks. I had no way of obtaining your shelves to finish them out and install them. I was not contacted by you again until Thanksgiving when I was out of the state, and then you weren't available for me to finally drop them off until after Christmas. We jumped through hoops and went above and beyond to make this job right for you. If anyone reading this has any concern about the professionalism we put into each and every job - I ask you to please go look at our standing/reviews on Google where we have a 4.7 / 5-star rating. We have been in business for 33 years and treat every single job with immense care in order to ensure customer satistfaction. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] will not deprive us of our reputation. I needed a table top refinished and stained a totally different color, (dark brown to grey), and a friend of mine spoke highly of this company. I was apprehensive, thinking there was slim chance I would get the translucence and tint I was imagining, by just describing it. Turned out Shannon and William are not only patient, but good listeners as well. They got it right the first time! Turnaround was really quick, and pricing was better than fair. These people really know their craft! My table is beautiful and resilient! I then hired them immediately to refinish some cabinet fronts...Again, great work, fair price. I get compliments on both my table and my cabinets!

A husband and wife team who were prompt to come by and give an estimate and provide refinishing service. They were the most responsive out of 5 companies contacted. The overall finish is good but on closer inspection there are areas that need more color. The items refinished were a dinning table and 6 chairs changed from a light natural wood color to a deep mocha. They were accomodating and were willing to refinish areas that I was not happy with. The price was reasonable, I'd use them again in the future. <br />

I DID NOT LIKE THE COLOR THAT WAS USED. THE CHAIR WAS NOT BUFFED WELL. THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK WHEN I TOLD THEM ABOUT MY FRUSTRATIONS.
