Maid Service
The maid that came was very late, didn't fully clean some basic areas, and left early. My appointment was at 10am and I was notified at 10:15am that she had a personal emergency and could no longer come at that time. So we rescheduled for 2pm. She came at 3pm -- five hours after the original appt time. I had scheduled a deep clean (4 hours 5 minutes). She did a great job cleaning kitchen appliances (including oven) but left some areas of my one bedroom apartment completely untouched or partially cleaned -- side table and some shelves left undusted, kitchen floor not fully vacuumed, bathroom mirror not cleaned, etc. It felt like a very rushed job. I would have understood if they needed more time to complete the job, but she didn't even stay for the full appointment time -- she left after about 3.5 hours. This company was extremely responsive and great at communicating updates, and they gave me a discount when I asked after the service. But I would not hire again or recommend.

Tried to leave a review on Angi but couldn’t. This company was very responsive to my last minute request. I’m moving and needed to schedule a cleaner last minute. They booked me for Wednesday (which was not ideal) but then they called with an updated appt for tomorrow morning! They were so responsive and understanding. I had to cancel b/c the building does cleaning but I wanted to make sure to shout them out. The customer service was very much appreciated.

The cleaning service was great! I found them through Angie's list and they reached out to me with a quote very promptly. The customer service team worked with me on pricing and called me to give me updates during and check in with me during the process.
It was a very important decluttering and deep cleaning job and they gave me an appointment within two days if our first call.
The crew came in ready to work! They were courteous and respectful, taking care of my items, and worked with me every step of the way. It was a massive three day job that they were able to accomplish in just two days!
I highly recommend and look forward to using their service again to maintain the wonderful work they did.

Galaxy Maids was a very responsive company and tried their best to accommodate our needs of deep cleaning my father’s 2 bedroom apartment (he has dementia). Unfortunately, the cleaner spent the entire 4 hours cleaning up his small kitchen and did nothing else. They didn’t even mop the kitchen floors, nor offer to stay a little longer to at least do the bathroom. Disappointed. I did tip the cleaner and do appreciate the help but I had to deep clean the rest of the house myself and it only took me an hour (floors, baseboard, windows, etc.). Maybe if you don’t need a deep cleaning, they probably would be faster and are a good fit for your needs.

Concerning the cleaning, during the quoting process, we proposed that the entire scope of cleaning would require two sessions. However, your scheduling only accommodated a four-hour booking. It was mutually agreed that we would move ahead with the four hours and have the cleaner try to get as much done as possible. We followed up on the phone after the cleaning but did not get a reply.
