Gammon's Heating and Cooling exceeded our expectations! Justin was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the process of replacing our antique steam boiler. He patiently provided three different quotes and never pressured us to choose the most expensive option. The installation team, led by the highly experienced Bill, was fantastic. They arrived on time with a full crew, a great mix of seasoned professionals and eager learners. We even heard Bill sharing his expertise with the younger team members, which was impressive. Gammon's attempted to install a new propane boiler for me. The job took nearly a year after several complaints about boiler malfunctioning/shutting down (in the middle of winter), over heating, water leaks and even a significant propane leak, costing me hundreds of dollars in leaking propane! They signed off on the job with several connections leaking propane. They left many things undone and not to code. I had to get the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation Maine Fuel Board involved with a inspection (which was very helpful) for them to come back out and address the issues. The owner never answered any of my e-mails/calls about these issues (even the concern about LEAKING PROPANE). I still have a thermostat that isn't working correctly and have just had to leave it off. I placed a complaint with the Maine Attorney General and yet have come to a resolution. I will say that the office staff was very helpful and pleasant. Read less

Needed my boiler cleaned and was very pleased with the office staff. They were very helpful and Accommodated my schedule. The tech was extremely helpful and even explained what he was doing and why it’s important to get an oil boiler cleaned every year!! I even signed up for their GSC club program and now next year I won’t forget to call because they will call me!! Thank you Gammons!!

Great! Gammons was quick to provide a quote at a fair price. I was able to review and approve the quote via a link in an email. Gammons scheduled the work right away and swapped out the tank in an afternoon. Everything was neat and very professionally done. We’re very happy with the work and function of the new unit.
