Rick was prompt and very thorough. He completed the work in a timely manner and did a great job. He has years of experience and his work shows it. He went out of his way to return the water heater that he brought which had a couple of small dents in it when he opened the box. He said that he will not install a damaged unit, and promptly went to his supplier and got another one. Both he and his helper were very hard workers, and it was 94 degrees when they did the job. I highly recommend him, and will have him install a new furnace when it needs to be replaced. His pricing was very good as well. You can't beat that combination.

Rick is a great professional and has now done 3-4 projects for me over the past 8-10 years. In every case the project is completed without any issues and works to perfection. He is very engaging, personable and professional. He has uncovered gas leaks -- in minutes -- that others simply could not find in 2-3 attempts. He once solved a reoccurring heating system controls problem i was having ...in about 90 seconds!

Did everything when's as one twice

This is an A++ company. We were investigating HVAC companies because we knew we were going to need to replace our unit. We found Gas Service of Merrimack to have good pricing and reviews. Before we could reach out and start getting bids our unit went out. Richard not only came out on an emergency call, on a Sunday, he stuck to his pricing when he could have at least charged an "after hours" fee. He was very thorough and took the time and explained the job and made sure I was comfortable. Richard is personable while being professional and he is humble and very respectful. Easy to work with. I highly recommend and would not hire anyone else. Extraordinary professional.

He's one of the very few people who repairs gas fireplaces that are older (ours is at least 10 years old I guess). He did a great job, and he is very professional, honest, and courteous. Thanks! <br />

Great response, on tint and nicely priced?

The owner, Rick, is excellent. I've had him over several times. He came over at the very last minute. As always he was courteous and prompt and got the job done very well. I've been using him off and on for a couple of years. The work he does is so solid that I don't need to call him very often. He was my first choice for the work. The person that owns the company is generally the one that comes out and does the work. He is a very pleasant person to speak with. He does fabulous work. He is very prompt. When we had our heating installed with him, he gave us a flat price. He ran into problems and spent 36 hours above what he expected to make sure that things were working properly. In terms of being above and beyond, he is definitely there. He has one or two employees at most. He is excellent and very professional. I don't have a lot of comparison but his price seems reasonable for the amount of time he spends. He has been able to come out when other places would have charged a surcharge. He is always on time. I will definitely continue to use him. He does heating, hot water service and anything to do with natural gas. He put in our tankless water heater and our furnace.

To say I was impressed would be a vast understatement. From start to finish, the professionalism and dedication to providing quality work was evident. Our heating system had been installed poorly and was at the end of its lifespan. Once the job was underway, things hadn't gone smoothly due to the poor installation done by the previous owners of our home. Merrimack Gas Service handled every problem, every glitch along the way, and worked many hours of overtime on the job to insure that we'd have heat and hot water. They were honest and did not upsell us on unnecessary things. When we had a minor issue elsewhere in the house later, they were incredibly prompt in responding to our call, and immediately performed the repair. This company is now my number one choice, hands-down, and I would not hesitate to recommend them. <br />
