It started with the owner, Bill Gail, telling me I had to haul the 5 gallon paint back to the store to get the color fixed. Continued with him showing up late, leaving midday to run errands while the paint was left opened and sitting out, the power washer damaged my garage keypad, and left splotches all over the siding areas, paint drips on the window screens, on the air vents, places paint should not be while leaving areas unpainted behind the downspouts and areas near the edges. He did not dand peeling paint in areas around the doors, simply put a sloppy cost of paint over the top so you can still see the peeling underneath. The doors are not fully painted. There are places that are not caulked, a board he used caulk to fix instead of replace. It ended by Bill taking the paint I paid for and my address plaque with a promise to return it the following Monday...weeks ago. The owner will not return my calls and even tried to bill me more than we had agreed to before the job started.

We were very satisfied with the friendly service and the teamwork that was done. All the painters demonstrated that they take great pride in their work and each one demonstrates that they care enough to do what it takes to achieve a great result. The 'boss' came by frequently to check on things and we felt we were part of a team that wanted a great outcome for our sake. We were encouraged to use a Men-Wood stain for best up-keep and beauty even though it was more expensive and a newer product on the market. We pushed the limits a bit because we were bold with our color choice but in the end we all were happy with it, including the painters! That being said, we were given plenty of opportunity to change our minds before we committed to it. As in any house project, there were unexpected challenges and opportunities for learning new things, and this team was always up for that, even staining pine! We opted to do the trim ourselves, but we have been equipped with tips and tricks to make that go easier and with more confidence. A relationship has been begun that we can continue to enjoy when we need painting experts to assist. I know they are anxious to see final photos when we get our work done so that we can all rejoice together in a job well done! I didn't crop the picture because I wanted to show the overall effect in our setting. We still have work to do on the decking and, of course, the trim. This house was purchased in March, so we are glad to have this much done already.

It went very well. The owner and the crew inspected the house and gave a realistic plan and estimate. We were happy to be working with craftsmen that respected our old house. They prepped, sanded and painted asking for our feedback during the whole process. The finished paint job is smooth and fresh looking. They even replaced missing and damaged trim.

The guys did an excellent job! They painted the 1st floor of our house. We had some bad cracks on the drywall seems and you would never know it now. The workers were very personable and courteous. They stayed on budget and truly offered a great paint job for a great price. I highly recommend!

Bryan and his crew did an outstanding job. The house had layer after layer of old peeling paint under the eaves. They had a machine that ground off the old paint and at the same time sucked up every morsel of paint and dust. I was amazed when it was done. I had no idea there was beautiful wood under there. Then they used real oil primer to even everything up before painting. They caulked every little crack and gap so the paint was smooth and neat and seamless when finished. Considering the thorough attention to detail, I was pleasantly surprised how quickly the job was finished. It was a difficult job to bid because since the house is so old and the exterior so neglected, the amount of prep work needed was considerable. Bryan was detailed and thorough in explaining the quote and the cost of materials and labor. I love my little old house and Bryan and his crew transformed it like they were Cinderella's fairy godmother. The quality of the work is outstanding. In the picture below notice the lights flanking the front door. Bryan removed, repaired, sanded, and painted the two fixtures. He even replaced the light bulbs for me. They were professional, pleasant, and undaunted by unexpected unpleasantness like bees and poison ivy. I highly recommend Gaul painting

It was awesome! I had an idea of what I wanted in mind, but Bill made some great suggestions. I get so many compliments on my house and I was very happy! The workers were so nice and friendly, and work well together. I have nothing but good things to say.
