In October, 2021 we signed a contract and paid our 50% deposit ($7500) to have new windows and siding. Later, in December, 2021, we decided to remodel our kitchen and paid our 50% deposit ($4250). Since the windows were on back order, Giovanni Cortez started our kitchen first. On 2/4/22, when he came to take cabinet measurements, he asked for a $4,000 advance to help pay for costs, as a favor. Although it made me uncomfortable to pay money in advance when no work had bewn completed, I did it. He was scheduled to arrive on 3/14/22 to begin our kitchen remodel, but never showed (no call, no show). When he finally started work on 3/17/22, he asked me for $1,000 in advance to pay his helper. So before any work had begun on my house, I had paid him $16,750. He told me the kitchen remodel would take 3-4 days, and it took 5 weeks (which was additional money we had not planned for since we had to eat out every day). He was always verbally nice and agreeable, but had poor work ethic. He used a saw inside our house instead of outside or in our screenroom; he left our furniture uncovered when he removed a wall; he ruined our butcher block countertops by leaving silicone all over it (and didn't fix it); he left our wall unfinished; he messed up our electricity and I had to pay someone else to fix it! Due to his poor performance, we decided to cancel our window and siding project on 5/3/22, and he said there would be a 15% restocking fee, although he would not give me the proof of purchase/bill of sale to prove he had even purchased the materials. He said it would take 15 business days to get the refund from the companies. I still have not received my refund. I would reach out to him via text, email, and Facebook Messenger (all 3) and would not receive any response. It was not until I posted my negative reviews on Google and Home Adviser in the middle of July that he reached out and made a repayment contract to pay $2000 on 8/15/22 and $2500 on 9/15/22 if I withdrew my reviews. I took down my reviews, and as usual when 8/15/22 came he asked for a "favor" of an extension. On 8/30/22, he reached out again and said he would return our FULL payment, including the 15% restocking fee if I could give him some time to sell some equipment he wasn't using. It is now 9/30/22, the day before October, and he has stopped communicating with me again, and I still don't have my money. I hired this company initially for a siding project. This was done (mostly) well though there were a few hiccups along the way. Some of the work was done really well, but there were some issues which may have been the result of sloppy work in trying to finish the job as quickly as possible. Some of these were fixed, but some never were despite promises of follow up and claims that what was needed had been ordered. I was going to do a solar install as well, but after extensive delays and challenges with communication, I went with another company instead

It was fine, they did a good job. They also had to do other work outside. They did J Hardy board and put up some wood framing as well. It took longer than I expected, but they did a quality work.

It was a great experience. The house turned out beautiful. We are very happy. Giovanni and his crew were very professional and a pleasure to work with. We will be hiring them again in the future.

I loved their work!!! My house looks great and the price was awesome. If you're looking for talented people to take on a big project with a decent budget, here they are. Not to mention that the customer service was splendid, the workers are nice and easily approachable. I feel lucky to have hired them. Infact I liked them so much I'm going to get my solar panels done with them too! :D
