Did service that was asked of them.  I intend on using them to replace the door in the future.  Highly recommend.  Did not try to sell me any unnecessary items. <br />

The showed up a few hours after I called.  There wasn't any hard sale on getting new parts. <br /> I felt the price was right for the service. <br /> Will use again. <br />

I called on a Sunday afternoon, and Dar had the springs replaced, the rollers lubricated, and the motor adjusted within hours. <br /> He checked the weight of the garage door in order to install the correct springs. Unlike the old springs, the new ones were the right size to provide a 15,000 cycle performance. <br /> The Angie's List discount was a nice bonus. <br /> I could not be more pleased with the entire experience. <br />

Excellent service. I called Saturday 1:00 pm, and talked Darlene. Dar was here an hour later to change a broken spring (also changed the second spring.) He checked the operation of the door and lubed it. Very professional. <br />

My experience was fine with them. They did what they said and when they said they would do it.

Dar did a great job - he was very professional, punctual, and knowledgeable.  We were very  pleased with the job that he did and with the fact that the price for the repair work was very reasonable.  We had an estimate for the job from Anytime Garage Doors a day prior to GDR doing the replacement.  That estimate was for just under $500 while the bill from GDR was $190 minus a 15% coupon for a total of $161.50.  It is so nice to deal with an honest company that does a great job.

Our garage door opener was making a very loud sound but we were not sure what was causing it. I went to Angie List and found GDR Garage Door Repairs. It appeared to be exactly what we were looking for and it was. We called at about 9:00 a.m on May 5th and told the receptionist that we needed someone to come out and examine our garage door. She said someone could be there at 2:00 p.m. That same day. Dar came out as promised, took a look at the door and told us the springs were broken. He fixed it immediately after we gave the go ahead. ( The price was $190.00). He worked efficiently, left no trace of a mess and checked other things on the door without charge. We were very pleased with Dar and his work. <br />

On 3/21/2014 I placed a call to GDR (Garage Door Repair). From the start of the call to the completion of the repair, I received nothing short of an outstanding response and job completion. The young Lady (Sorry I forgot the name)  to on the phone for information and pricing was very knowledgeable and very helpful. She gave me an appointment that fit my schedule. At the appointed time, the technician, Dar Goble arrived at my residence.  Mr. Goble was very courteous and very knowledgeable.  After briefing me on what had to be done and insuring I understood, Mr. Goble went right to work and completed the job in a very timely manner. Mr. Goble did not leave until he tested the door repair and the garaged door opener. Mr. Goble also insured the door hinges and rollers were lubricated and functioned correctly. Mr. Goble was very courteous and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend GDR to anyone that may need repair on their garage doors. I have already given their name to my daughter that needs the same repair I had done to my door. <br />

GDR responded within an hour of my request for a quote.  Dar arrived promptly and asked me to explain what was wrong with the garage door.  I told him about how the door makes loud cracking noises when it's opened or closed and how the chain clanks while operating.  He then inspected the garage door thoroughly and advised me there was nothing seriously wrong with it, it just needed a tune up and maintenance.  And what a pleasant surprise, when I asked a couple of questions about some related items, he went above and beyond the tune up/maintenance and took care of those items also...without charging me extra!  Nowadays, it is so difficult to find knowledgable, honest, and reliable services here in Las Vegas so I was thrilled to find a company with all of these qualities.  I will refer them to my family and friends without hesitation.

I called GDR and they gave me an appointment within a couple of hours. Dar showed up exactly on time. He explained everything that he was going to do and completed the job quickly. I am extremely satisfied with the complete transaction. I highly recommend GDR. I will definitely use them again. My garage door is better than ever! <br />

Mr. Goble came out after work hours to fit my schedule and made the adjustments to get my door to close.  He explained what the issues were and corrected them.  He was very professional and did not try to "up-sell" me anything, I know eventually I will need a new motor, the one I have is 20 years old, when I do I will call GDR!

As previously stated, the appointment was made the very next day.  The work done was explained and done in a very timely manner.  The gentleman was very polite and explained everything that was done.  Before starting the work, he did explain that there could be one other thing wrong that would make the quoted amount higher.  It turned out that it was just the two springs and it was nice to know that he did not create a problem that was not there.  We appreciated the fast, efficient and honest work.  As I said, I would recommend GDR Garage Door Repair to family, friends, and coworkers without hesitation.  Thank you Angies's List and GDR Garage Door Repair.  <br />

<p>After removing all the old door hardware the installer plumbed up my door jambs.  Who would have thought that some of the rattling and banging of my old door was caused by an out of plumb door jamb.<br /> The installer answered all my questions about the safety features and the workings of the door.  He did not seem to mind my questions but I am sure I slowed him down a bit.<br /> I am very pleased and proud of my new garage door.</p> , <br />
