Overall, they did a great job, price was very competitive and they were very kind of explain their work. This is a company with integrity.

First time was good in 5/2020. Even referred to my sister. I went to them to replace my still operating other unit 5/2022. Very poor experience. They tried to take several shortcuts, did not tell me they would rip out trim for attic access (unlike 1st unit-same capacity). The hack they sent to repair the trim did a terrible job. I told him it should look as good as before. Hack argued. I have lots of pictures of the grossly different ceiling surfaces and the guy said I will not notice. Huge cluster. I finally finished myself with Greg paying me a few hundred. First drywall work I did but good now. I did not expect my beginner level from hack guy but i would not accept the poor level he did. Arguing about my not getting warranty documents. They said I did not need it. Then they were too busy ..for weeks. I stayed on it and finally got them. Poor routing of tubing and eliminating the stress relieving bend it had before. I pointed out the tubing touching steel rafter gang nail with marks already digging into copper. They bent out and added support to "fix". I now must crawl under tubing instead of just bend over. I noticesd the new TXV filter screen on the floor under TXV after install. I let Greg know and he said it is not needed and can increase pressure drop too much. That is what the TXV does, it restricts flow and increases pressure drop. AC designer, technician, and degreed Engineer but I learned this when I was a teenager. 11 months later (luckily for me) the TXV went bad (paid someone else to confirm my diagnosis). Primary reason for TXV failure is contamination. Greg said it was coincidence. They did honor the one year warranty. Lots of pictures, emails and recordings to back up all my statements. One of the 2 is new but Greg is responsible, but the supervision was terrible.
