Greg and his team (a total of three men) were extremely professional. They showed up on time, and they finished the job in two days. While he was here, and while the ceiling was open, he also helped us wire and install a chandelier. He was easy to work with, and the work quality is outstanding.

It was perfect. Max came out to give us an estimate and showed us how the infrared camera was able to identify water sources. They came promptly to do the work. Things went quickly and took only two hours. They answered all my questions and showed me how everything worked. They also put cement on the roof in all locations they could find where water might come in. We have had no problems since. Both the price and service were exactly what we wanted. <br />

Greg came out and looked at the problem and promptly followed up with an estimate that had been lower than other providers we had contacted.  I let him know right away that we wanted to move forward and his team got started the next morning.  The GMS team did an amazing job repairing our drywall issues.  Would definitely recommend them in the future. <br />

Only time will tell whether the work permanently fixes the cold air problem that caused my burst pipes, but as of today (the day GMS completed the work) I'm thrilled with GMS's responsiveness, professionalism, and work quality.  Pipes in my basement that routinely froze in cold weather due to poor insulation finally gave way and burst last week.  Plumbers had to come out in the middle of the night to replace the pipes, and in doing so they had to cut into the drywall and ceiling in my basement.  So now I had a basement wall and ceiling with large holes in them, and a wet wall just waiting to grow mold. <p></p> <p>GMS was actually the second place I called - the first place told me they were booked and wouldn't be able to come out until the end of February.  That obviously was not an option.  Based on the good reviews, I then tried GMS.  Greg, the owner, was great.  He agreed to come out THE NEXT MORNING at 8:00 a.m. to give me an estimate.  He was right on time and was very professional and honest with the scope of work that needed to be done.  He had some great insight into how to do the insulation differently so that the cold air problem would be solved.  All in all, I was left with the impression that he was the right guy for the job.</p> <p>He got me a written estimate later that morning, and agreed to start work THAT AFTERNOON.</p> <p>The whole project took 3 days - first day they knocked down the wet wall and removed all the insulation.  The sealed off the area with plastic and blasted a dehumidifier all night.  Day 2 they insulated and did most of the work installing the new wall.  Day 3 they finished off the wall and left the entire area immaculately clean.  </p> <p>I wasn't home during the actual work, but Greg provided me daily updates as to progress and always answered my calls and emails.</p> <p>The wall looks better than ever; and there is now a vent built in to help warm air circulate into the space, and the pipes and the whole space behind the wall are well insulated.  As I said at the top, only time will tell whether this permanently solves the frozen pipe problem.</p> <p>Bottom line is that Greg was extremely responsive and did high quality work at a reasonable price.  I still can't get over that he was able to start the work the day after I first called him.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />

We had a fantastic experience with Greg and his team.  Called to have him come look at the areas we needed fixed.  He scheduled time a few days later, sent an estimate within two days (very reasonably priced) and was able to schedule and complete the work within a week and a half from that point.  The work itself took about 2 and a half days.  They clearly know what they are doing.  They cleaned up each night to make sure we weren't too troubled by work supplies and large hole in the ceiling.  Very friendly and professional.  Cleaned up and mopped the floor when the work was completed - no drywall dust for us to clean.  It looks great and was done quickly.  Couldn't have asked for more. <br />

Greg and his team have completed several different types of jobs now in our house - we trust him and his crew to always be on time, do amazing work, and be very reasonable with the cost. When selecting a contractor for our kitchen remodel, we got several quotes but ultimately selected Greg and we could not be more pleased with the result. Their attention to detail and the quality of their work is just outstanding. i can be tough to impress but there was never a day that I didn't come home from work and shriek with excitement at how things were progressing. <br /> In addition, we were faced with a big hurdle when the soffit was removed only to find a huge pipe residing inside. Greg came up with an amazingly creative and clever solution to conceal it which now makes the entire kitchen look custom built. <br /> Greg is our "go to" guy and I assure you, if you use his services you too will NOT be disappointed! <br />

The service went great. Two technicians came out for the job. They were professional and always on time. They were reliable and did what they said they would. They completed the job in 2 days. I had no problems contacting the company or scheduling their service.

Inspection went well. However, I only got sample results back from the lab and nothing in writing from the inspector explaining the results or next steps necessary to mitigate the mold problem. <br />

I live in a condo building with 20 units and my neighbor below me had a leak in their kitchen coming from either my or my neighbor's apartment. It was slow leak and took a while to find so there was extensive mold and water damage in between the walls.  <br /> I tried a number of other contractors who couldn't come out for weeks, but Greg agreed to come out the same day I called him. He reviewed the damage and got me an estimate and started working the same week. Greg and his crew were prompt and very friendly. They got to work immediately and explained the process thoroughly. They set up three blowers in my unit and one in the unit below me to dry everything out. During this process, they sealed my kitchen (but kindly gave me access to the fridge) and killed any mold present.  <br /> The drying took the weekend and his crew came back promptly on Monday morning to remove everything, patch the walls and prime them for painting. They had to remove the dishwashers and Greg came back himself to install them when the plumbers wouldn't do it. Also they missed one drywall hole (I had seven of them) and he promptly sent out his guys to fix it.  <br /> I'm very pleased with their work and would use them again in a heartbeat. It's rare to find a contractor who is so prompt and I really appreciated it.  <br /> If you do use General Moisture Solutions, I suggest calling the number directly. His crew is busy but Greg always got back to me in a reasonable amount of time. <br />

It went fine.  He came right out and gave us the inspection.  He was professional and forthcoming.

Greg always comes by after the repairs and makes sure you are happy with everything.  We were very pleased with the work.  The workers are always punctual and respectful.  We would definitely use them again!

It was great. They were great. General Moisture Solutions was fantastic. What stood out the most was the job that they did. They seemed to be honest. They did a great cleanup. The estimate seemed to be fair. They didn’t go over the estimate. We would definitely use them again. They were the top. It was somewhere between $1200 and $1500.

I turned on the water supply to my outdoor faucet, and realized I had a waterfall running in my wall.  I called Greg on a thursday, he came out later that afternoon to look over things.  He had a team of guys in here Friday to remove the wall, replace the pipe, and get everything dried out.  By saturday afternoon, the wall was replaced and everything was as good as new.  Really happy with Greg's responsiveness, did not want any problems with mold or mildew, so I was very happy he could help me out as fast as he did.  Would definitely use General Moisture Solutions again! <br />

I was very pleased with the service. Greg came out to give me an estimate, which we mutually modified based on the findings once the ceiling drywall was removed. His workmen arrived on time as scheduled, and were very thorough, and completely cleaned up after the job was finished. Painting wasn't originally part of the estimate (just priming) but I requested that the ceiling be painted, and they were able to accommodate this request and still finish on time.  I would definitely recommend Greg's services. <br />

As traumatic as a leak can be the owner and his worker couldn't have been more accommodating, professional and skilled. I highly recommend this company. <br />

GMS were very professional. Soon after a major flood, I had difficulty reaching any company to evaluate for mold. I left a message for GMS and they called back promptly, gave me dates within 1-2wks for initial evaluation. They arrived on time for the evaluation. Addressed all of my questions and concerns. Provided a detailed estimate. No pressure to have to go with them. When we decided to go with them, we were again able to schedule a time for remediation within an appropriate amount of time. They arrived on time. Worked very neatly. Did exactly as promised. Cleaned up after themselves and finished on-time. I was very satisfied with their service. <br />

This guy was awesome! He inspected for other cracks, worked cleanly, repaired the drywall afterwards. He used some sort of negative pressure kit that sealed the crack tight. I waited a year to write this to make sure we had no leaks- we have zero leakage. Thanks Greg!
