Date and price approx.  Too long and do not want to dig out paperwork. <br /> When finished, toilet wasn't flushing efficiently and I asked the plumber to run a snake down it since the tile man had put a lot of old grout and other scrapings down the shower drain instead of hauling them away. He (the plumber) said it was not necessary. Several days later, I called General Plumbing to say the toilet still backed up when flushed and I still thought it should have been snaked. They came out and did so but wanted to charge me. I called the office and they agreed reluctantly not to charge. Plumber made it obvious that he was displeased about having to snake the toilet when he had said it was not necessary,  and about not getting to charge me, but the toilet worked fine after that. <br /> Within a year, the caulking in the newly installed toilet was deteriorating but I did not call General Plumbing after their last reaction.  <br /> This year when roaches started emerging from beneath the toilet and the flushing mechanism failed, I called a different plumber who pulled the toilet again. He said the toilet had  been set so that it was not touching the wax seal: thus the deteriorating caulk and roaches. He reset and recalled the toilet. No more roaches. <br /> I had been using General for a number of years with great satisfaction (See my previous high ratings on Angie's list), but would unfortunately hesitate to use them now. <br />

<p>I was not at home. My wife said repairs taken care of in a timely manner and that the employees were </p> courteous. <br /> I have used the services of this company for a number of years. They have always been prompt in arriving at designated time and ther workers have been friendly and repairs have been done satisfactorily. <br />

The install was somewhat challenging since the drain had to be rerouted from the tub end to center. Excellent work and attention to detail. Courteous plumber who cleaned up after completion.

Everything went as planned. General Plumbing was prompt and professional, and we are very pleased with the results of the whole project.

This was the first time we had used their services. I thought they were very good. They were always prompt and did a good job. They spent three or four days total and they charged us less than originally estimated.

They were very professional when communicating with them to get the job lined up. They were on time for the service. I did not really have any contact with the workers. They did a good job. It is all working well. I was very happy with the service.

The water heater that they installed in our house works really well. The guy told us everything he was going to do before he started any work and he got the new water heater installed in less than two hours.

We have used them for years at our home. When I needed a part replaced they came right over and took care of it. They always do good work. We have had no other problems with it. If they didn't do good work we would not be using them for all of our service needs.

The system is working just fine. We have used it two summers now and it is working properly. There are no problems with water leakage or back ups in the system. My landscaper hired and paid them for me. I was not at home so I never met them but they left no mess or even any signs that any work was even done.

I really liked General because even though they already had a full schedule, they found time to fit me in, and it was quick. He did what he had to do, cleaned up, and was out the door, and everything was working again.
