"Our company always honors our agreement and makes things right whenever a customer isn't satisfied. We'd like to clarify that this customer was on an annual contract and the service cost was actually for lawn maintenance, 4 yearly trim of hedges and bushes and a large leaf clean up job annually, not just for lawn mowing and trimming. The service was set up as bi-weekly at $110.50 per month plus tax. We graciously let her out of a contract that stated she had to give 30 days written notice to dissolve the contract. Upon our first visit to the property the sprinkler system had just run. we were able to go ahead and service the lawn and we sent her an email request asking her if she could change the run time and thanking her. We did not complain about it. This isn't uncommon in our business and we simply ask the customer if they would change the run time. The second trip out was typical for Zoysia. It is a very thick and dense grass, and this lawn had grown a lot in two weeks. We have other customers with this grass and they know when they go bi-weekly there's an excess of clippings. We attempt to clean up as best as possible. This type of grass does best on a weekly schedule. In an attempt to make things right, after we received the customers offensive email we called the person that serviced the lawn to better understand what was going on and so we could get back in touch with this customer and make things right. Before we even had the chance to do so, within 30 minutes, another offensive email arrived from the customer that stated to keep the money and "Don't come back". This customer did not even give us an opportunity to do our job and make the situation right. They were so angry that the only thing we could do to make things right was to let them out of their contract. There was no chance given to us to do anything else. We have the utmost respect for our homeowners. Sometimes things like this happen. People make mistakes or have misunderstandings. We are all human. Nevertheless, we, here at Genesis Landscaping Service are disheartened that we were not given the chance to satisfy this customer and would like ALL our customers to know that we hold ourselves to a high standard of customer satisfaction and are committed to a job well done."
