Geno Farina Electrical Contractor

Geno was responsive, professional, efficient and fair. We moved our kitchen to another room in the house and expanded our second floor bathroom. Both projects required complete rewiring as well as old electric wire chasing. Work included upgrading our electric panel and installation of new recessed lighting, stove, hood, electric disposal, under counter lighting, dishwasher, refrigerator, bathroom fan and bathroom toe kick heater. Most importantly Geno was timely and responsive when it came to scheduling. We will not hesitate to hire him again. If he's available, hire him.

We did not get a good explanation of what we needed to properly power the generator. So, we ended up having to replace the gas line because there was not enough gas coming into the house to run the generator. If we had known that, we might not have done it. We would probably not use him again because he is far away.

Geno was a really good guy and easy to schedule with, actually listened when I was asking what he could do. Very honest about what work he could do. He cleaned up after he was finished and arrived on time.

I called Geno and we had to go back and forth a few times to set a date. It took a while to nail down a time for him to come out but he was very responsive and called me back each time. Our house has some strange wiring in places from one of the previous owners, so when we went to upgrade the old halogen light fixture to a florescent fixture and new switch, it would not turn on. We needed someone to figure out the problem. When Geno came out he was able to figure out the issue right away, since he had more specific tools and the experience that was needed. He was very professional and punctual.

Can't say enough. Hire them. <br />

He didn't show up for the first appointment, never called , <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />We called and rescheduled ,he came out stayed for a little over an hour. Told us we need a lot of work to fix the problem . <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />He said well that takes care of the big deal.  He sent us an estimate for the work to fix it . We didn't hire him the estimate was too high. <br />

Geno came and installed an exterior electrical outlet for us.  He came when he said he would and worked quickly and efficiently.  The job site was clean.. <br />

The service was good. They hooked up the kitchen hood exhaust. Just one electrician came out and it took about 3 hours. They had good pricing for their service and it was reasonable.

I signed up for a deal to get 4 hours of electrician time for $199. With 24 hours I had heard from Geno and we agreed to a date. I ended up having to change the date but Geno was very accommodating and we agreed on a new date. He just performed all of the work that I needed and we are very happy. He was on time, very professional and we were very impressed. We would definitely use Geno again in the future. <br />

Overall, it went well, the work was fast, and the outlet works as it should. <br /> He was late and I had to call to find out when he was arriving, not having heard from him almost an hour past the time he was supposed to arrive.   <br /> After he left I saw that he broke off a chunk of plaster on the edge of the internal outlet that he was connecting to the outside outlet.  At the least, he should have mentioned it; and, optimally, offered to repair.  Now I have to either figure out how to fix it myself or spend money having someone else fix it (it's large enough that the hole extends beyond the edge of a larger multi-outlet I have plugged into that outlet). <br /> <br /> <br />

Geno did a good job. It was a little challenging. The big deal that we purchased did not appear to have any restrictions associated with it but when I called back to schedule the appointment with him, he pretty much told me off the bat that he did not think that he would be able to install it in my house after I gave him the description of my house. It was disappointing but he said that he would come out to my house to go look and see if he could find a way to get it done and he did that. He came out to our house and we found a place that was agreeable to both of us and then when he went to actually install it in that location, he was not able to do so. There was additional work that needed to be done in that area. We were able to find an alternative location and he did install it. He did it quickly and we were happy with it but there was a number of roadblocks along the way and the deal that was advertised was not particularly accurate. He found a way to be able to meet our needs for the price that was offered to us but his initial instinct was that he was going to need to give us a refund on the whole deal. Ultimately, we were happy and we received the service that we wanted at the price that we wanted but if there is going to be an awful lot of restrictions associated with a deal like that, we should have known about it. He also did the job on the time schedule that we wanted.

Delivery of the hot tub was delayed, but Geno was extremely flexible and accommodating. He arrived the day after it was delivered (as he promised) and ran the line from the basement breaker box to the tub outside. he eve helped me move the tub to a better location. <br /> After Geno connected the power, he discovered the tub wasn't working. He contacted the tub dealer directly to help rectify the problem. This was a great help as I was at work and my wife was busy with our child. It was the kind of service i hadn't expected but very much appreciated. <br /> Geno was always on time, extremely professional and knowledgeable and very easy to work with. I'd use him again in a second and I'd recommend him to anyone. His A rating by myself and others is well deserved. <br />

Electrician was due to come by between 9-9:30. We got a call around 11:30 saying he'd be there within x amount of time (don't remember the details). Eventually, he did show up, but later than the revised time. No apology offered for the lack of punctuality.   <br /> We didn't really have enough electrical work to warrant a two hour visit, but that's our misjudgment, not the electrician's. He answered all our questions.  <br /> <br /> <br />

He advised me on what I would need to get the lighting result I wanted.  I didn't have a lot of the parts needed to complete the installation of the outside light.  He went out and got the parts, did the work, cleaned up and was on his way. <br />

 Geno came by and looked at the job. He told me what to buy for lights and a dimmer switch. <br />  I bought the lights and the dimmer and he installed them. <br />

He was wonderful.  I needed parts for him to replace, and he told me exactly what to buy.  When Home Depot gave me the wrong light switch, he waited while we went back and got the right one. <br />

Went great. Very happy I used him for the bathroom fan because it ended up needing some adjustments that I wouldn't been able to do. Finally got the outlet fixed. And My wife is happy and feeling much better about basement wiring. He talked me through all the processes, making sure I was happy with what he was doing. I do plan on hiring him again for some work i need done for an investment property. He was a little late for the appointment but I do recognize that he had another customer before and things happen. <br />
