First call I made to Geobear, the President of the Company answered my call and I felt right away I had found the right guys. He coordinated Dante Miller to come and inspect the foundation of a home to purchase. Dante Miller went way beyond what I was meaning for him to check out for me! Absolutely top notch service and skill!! I called Geobear because I suspected our 7 yr old home had possible slab and/or moisture barrier defects installed by original builder. We had water intrusion issues in multiple areas of our home and garage. We had 12 different opinions ( ie inspection, landscapists, mold testing, mold remediation, builder,etc) for this baffling problem, before I called Geobear. Response time was immediate. My info was taken and within matter of minutes Dante Miller responded to my call. We set appoitment up and he rapidly came to home to inspect the slab on home after remediation, did elevation readings and visual inspection for evidence of severe settling or abnormal movement, inspected outside thoroughly including some areas of landscaping and checked outside slab/foundation and found no evidence of major defects. Concluded areas of poor drainage and gave multiple recommendations ( e.g. water proofing exposed slab, downslope soil in areas away from home, installation of french drains). Was overwhelmed by his expertise and knowledge. Seemed to solve a problem that has been hammering away at us for months. And he refused to accept any form of payment as was on site consultation and luckily their company did not need to do any repairs!!!! I give Dante and Geobear 10 stars out of 5 and would highly highly recommend them for any possible issues related to slab/foundation. This is a honest and knowledgeable company and Dante was remarkable . Call them if needed.
