Very well & competitively priced. They got the entire job done in two days. Very responsible cleanup and high quality cement work. I would definitely hire George again!

June 2017. Grading and texture of new concrete were excellent. Price was a little lower than other quotes. Most importantly, George was responsive, listened well, provided good ideas and showed up on time.

We received a visit for an estimate very soon after I contacted the company. The price was reasonable so we hired them to do the work. The crew arrived at the time and date they said they would and got to work immediately. They completed the work quickly and efficiently and cleaned up the areas very well. The workers were polite and professional.

George responded to my inquiry within 24 hours. Came out next day and provided estimate. George and his crew did an excellent job. Did job that other contractors said they couldn't do. I am very pleased with the work and would definitely hire George for future concrete jobs.

George was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. He took pride in his work, showing me the bars installed for strength, and the work was true and plumb. He gave me a fair quote, and scheduled the job for a few days later. The work was very well done. After the work was complete, he was kind enough to come out promptly at no charge to advise me on another matter, and also offered me some dirt that he had removed from another site to fill the old patio site for future planting. The porch looks new again.

Went very well. Came right away for an estimate (in 30 minutes of calling), and project was completed in 2 weeks. Handled permit. Requested some special stuff (retaining walls built into steps) and while he was initially hesitant, agreed to do it and did a great job with it. Very clean. Final job was awesome.

It was not perfect, but it was good enough. They could have cleaned up the work site. They borrowed a bunch of stuff that was in my garage to do the work which was okay I do not mind that, but they did not put it away. They did not commit a horrible crime. They did not break anything, but it was mildly annoying. I would consider using them again strongly.

Found George from a postcard that mailed to my house and Angies List reviews.  After several bad winters the sidewalk that runs along the length of my house was crumbling and in need of repair. <br /> I called George and he came out within a few days to review the situation and provide an estimate.  I had three estimates for the job and elect George because of previous work done for neighbors and his compettitive price. <br /> The work was started in the timeframe given and as completed ahead of schedule. George's team did a good job with with clean-up and disposal. <br /> I'm very happy with the work and will use them again for concrete work. <br />

It went well.  The workers showed up when they said they would and the job was completed within the estimated time frame. <br />

I was initially worried that George wouldn't guarantee his work.  Very worried.  After meeting him, I felt much better.  He came to our house the day after I called, we discussed the work that needed to be done, and he assured me that he had worked on numerous bungalows like ours--in this part of Chicago they are ubiquitous.  After we talked I felt much better and scheduled the work.  He told me it would take 2-3 weeks, but when his schedule opened up he came a week early.  They worked for two days, extracting the old concrete and laying the new, and that was that. <br /> We are very pleased with the work, the speed, and especially the ease of this experience.  We've never dealt with concrete before, but will definitely be calling him again when we move on to other projects.  A+ <br />

George called and came out promptly after I initially called him.  After his in-person visit to my property, he gave me an estimate immediately via email and asked me to obtain a plat of survey. I wrote back and told him it might take me some time to find the Plat of Survey.   It took a visit to the Village to find it.  When I emailed George 3 months later with the information, he came out promptly, picked it up, took a deposit and told me the work would be completed within the month of September.  From that point forward, gradual progress occurred on the project.  As soon as the permit was granted (George took care of obtaining this from the Village--it was an additional cost above the quote so don't be surprised), George's team (very polite and friendly) broke up my old steps, set up a yellow tape barrier so that no one would inadvertently step off the porch, dropped off framing, created the framing, and then there was a period where the Village had to come and inspect and approve the work.  Once the inspection was done, a few days passed.  I emailed George to ask him when the work would be completed and he immediately wrote back and said he was coming that day.  Each time I emailed him to ask a question, he would respond promptly and professionally, which I appreciated.  The steps were completed, the job site was neatly cleaned and finished, and they look beautiful!  I would definitely recommend them and will use them again, if needed. <br />

George was very responsive, on-time, completed necessary demolition, and poured pad all according to plans and made sure everything was cleaned up afterwards. After one winter the pad looks perfect. No cracks or any other defects. <br />

Working with George was great. He was responsive in getting back to us either via phone or text message in setting up our initial estimate - this including me being away on a business trip at the time. He was very up front with how busy his schedule was at the time and how that would impact his availability - but he still managed to get to us quite quickly. During our estimate he made great suggestions around how to lay out the patio and sidewalk - and around the odd leveling/grade we have in our yard and how that would impact how to lay the patio. Then he laid out very clearly all the next steps that would take place in getting the job done.  <br /> When it came time for the real work to start, his crew appeared accordingly to schedule and were very diligent in their work. Everything was completed according to schedule and the finished product exceeded our expectations. Before closing out the last day of work George gave us very clear instructions about what we needed to do as the work 'cured' over the following days and thanked us for choosing to work with him. He and his crew take pride in doing great work, <br /> All in all, it was a great experience and we wouldn't hesitate to contact him again for additional work we require. As soon as we need to repair our front steps, we'll be calling George! <br />

George was fairly good to work with.  He answered most of my questions in a timely manner.  I gave a B for price even though the cost was average for an exposed aggregate finish.  They went above and beyond by removing excess dirt from beneath the stairs and back-filling with gravel.  They also removed an exterior light for us, and they honored my request to install the stairs a few inches forward to conceal sloppy concrete work (by a previous owner) on the face brick.  The final product looked very nice, so gave a B for quality.  I thought they were kind of sloppy so gave them a C for professionalism, but would think their sloppiness was average compared to other concrete contractors.  There were splatters of concrete on the face brick and limestone around the stairs.  Plus, there were streaks of the concrete sealer they used that ended up on our pre-existing sidewalk.  l think they could have protected the surrounding area better that would have taken a little extra time.  Then again, I don't know how many other concrete contractors would go to the length of protecting the surrounding area, and George did warn that the work would be "messy" hence the C grade given.  Finally, the fact that he did not accept the Angie's List coupon didn't help the professionalism score.  He claimed that the coupon should not have been on the website and he only offered it for his senior clientele.  The fact that he was accommodating in other requests and answered my questions in a timely manner bumped the score back up to a C.  I would hire him again with the contingency that the surrounding area either be protected or thoroughly cleaned after the work. <br />

George was always available. His crews worked quickly, skillfully & cleanly. The final product is beautiful and well done. I have always seen George's work in our village and knew it was very good. Now I know from personal experience. <br />

George is a quality concrete contractor.  He did a very nice job, removing and installing a new concrete sidewalk and stair footing.  The work was done quickly and the process went smoothly.  The quality of concrete finish is excellent.  I suspect I could have found a slightly lower bid but it was worth it to have the work done quickly, with quality materials and craftsmanship.  II highly recommend him and will have him bid on concrete jobs in the future. <br />
