I located Georgia Land Surveying Co., Inc, on the web. I completed an order sheet on the internet. I promptly received a confirmation from Ms. Liz Colley. I received a contract via e-mail which I completed and returned via Fax, We worked out a general date for the service. When I was ready, I called and confirmed that time the would be performed. I received a phone call when the surveyor was on his way. John arrived, introduced himself and promptly went to work. He was very much a professional and very personable. He preformed the work to my complete satisfactionI would recommend this company to any one needing their services. <br />

The company was excellent and supplied us a report on the condition of the soil.

Service as expected, they did a good job marking the boundaries per our agreement. The only confusion was me having to call them in order for them to explain 2 strange things with the markings. Instead of me having to perform the follow-up, they should have told me upon completion to avoid any confusion and to make sure I was aware of the unique circumstances. I would certainly hire them again as they have been in business for some time and have very good reviews. Price was not the best, but not the worst either. <br />

The staff was professional and responsive. They took the time to meet with me and answer all my questions and made revisions as requested. Their prints are beautiful and high quality. I recommend this firm without reservation for residential survey and site work plans. <br />

I paid over the phone and rec'd my survey 2 days later via U.S. mail. I am fully pleased with their service from start to finish and highly recommend them. I had other surveyors tell me they didn't have time for my job or that they didn't go jobs that small. GA Land Surveying stepped right in an did a great job.

I could not be more pleased with Josh IV and the staff of GA Land Surveying. He was our point of contact and did most of the fieldwork. There turn around time is generally 5 days, which they have consistently met. They are a top-notch group. You should allow time for them to get you on their schedule if it is during the summer, which the height of the construction season. Josh and his crew set the points on a house that due to several sanitary and storm sewers that crossed the lot. Due to set backs and the size of the footprint, the house could not be moved in any direction more than a foot, literally. The records from the county were completely off. Fortunately GA Land was able to correctly locate everything and set the house dead on. They also designed a storm water leaching system for us in Dekalb county, which is I believe required on all new construction. They even caught a mistake made by the county inspector about the design of our system.

UNLIKE THE OTHER LAND SURVEY COMPANIES I CALLED, THEY LISTENED TO WHAT I NEEDED, CALLED ME BACK PROMPTLY, AND OFFERED ME A CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE THAN A COMPLETE SURVEY. THE PERSON ON THE PHONE WAS HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY'D DO, WHEN THEY SAID THEY'D DO IT, AND THEY SAVED ME $250 OVER THE OTHER GUYS.
