WARNING - AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Complete disaster - this company should be pulled from Angie's List: You are better off without A/c than hiring this company. Check their BBB and FL license complaints. Shady business. Check out Yelp reviews. I'm still trying to have all my issues resolved - over a year later - with help from State of Fl and attorneys. Do not pay in full until you are sure the job is complete and all permits have been successfully closed. Save yourself the future hassle and trouble and look elsewhere.

Owner took advantage of my a/c emergency and the fact that I was in a rush to take my wedding photos which I had scheduled before my a/c went out. I let my guard down because this company was listed on Angie’s list at the time. Not only did he overcharge me $1,350 for a repair that only took 25 min and maybe cost $200 in materials, if that, but he promised 3 years of service for the unit and maintenance every 6 months. Well, the “service” and maintenance is someone showing up once a year, always late, and looking at my a/c unit trying to get me to get a new a/c through their company. This has been the worst experience ever, and they are not afraid to take advantage of people. They are a horrible company.

They came in for to do a regular coil cleaning, using Angie's special, job but then told me a $600 job was needed. It was supposed to make my A/C work better, but it didn't. It got so bad that I need a new A/C installed. Not to mention how lousy they were keeping appointments. Never again.

Get Me Cool is amazing, the whole team is fantastic, from Jamie on the phone, and Maurice, personally! They repaired my air conditioner, and 3 months later, after a big storm, a condenser exploded, and these people came and changed it for free! And the best thing is a company 24/7. Thank you, I will recommend your company forever.

Awful. The merchant bailed on me. Get Mo Cool did not pull any permits for the job, even though the contract indicates that it will be done. Get Mo Cool took the money, ruined my unit, leaving me with holes everywhere and make my unit uninhabitable. Get Mo Cool doesn't answer my calls anymore and didn't reimburse me for the money he stole from me. I've also indicated to them that their employees are smoking Marijuana while performing the job. Be ware!!!

My grandmother and mother had their ac die and their apt reached 90 so I had Get Mo Cool come out and take a look at it. They put it in for what was supposed to be an emergency installation due to my grandmothers age and my mother being a cancer patient who couldn't handle the intense heat. It has been over 2 weeks and still no install. They dropped off a portable a/c unit to cool my mother's room after a few days of no a/c and repeated calls for help. I HAD TO INSTALL THE UNIT MYSELF after purchasing my own tools because the guy was in a rush and didn't bring the proper supplies/tools or do it correctly. What's truly concerning is this man is supposed to be the owner/manager. The portable unit stopped working within a day and regardless how many times we called and expressed the urgency of this no one showed. After 8 hours of trying to get help I ONCE AGAIN HAD TO GO REPAIR IT MYSELF in order to spare my mother from blacking out anymore. Several days of lugging a gigantic heavy water case that needs emptied 6 times a day (they said it would be once) and it broke once again. This time I was unable to repair it and spent 3 hours waiting on a call back from the company. I called the owner directly and after waiting a hour for him to call me back had to resort to calling the 800 number on the portable unit itself. Amazingly these people actually did answer their phones and call back in a timely manner but were unaware of how Get Mo Cool had one of their units in a residential building and as such couldn't really provide much help although they did try to contact Get Mo Cool and their training center directly for me. After finally getting the owner/manager Maurice back on the phone he informed me that he still had no solution for someone to come service the broken portable and in passing mentioned that the new ac install would be tomorrow between 11-2. Given that all their quoted times have been 6-8 hours late (if they showed at all) this will leave my elderly and sick relatives without ac for yet another 2 days. Given the $6,000 dollars we are paying for this ridiculous repair you'd expect some level of customer service and professionalism. Sadly, this company is nothing but headaches and pitiful service if you can get them to do any. I would save my money and go elsewhere for faster, affordable and quality work. Such a waste of time and money.

They did not come when they were supposed, the technician bailed on us. Then they sent someone else who I am not sure knew what they were doing. Needless to say, my eletricity bills are still as ridiculously high after I paid the $1,000 and my bedroom is still really warm

This company was excellent! Highly recommend. I was able to get an appointment the same morning. The receptionist kept me informed--called and texted that the technician was on his way. The problem was assessed and fixed. The technician called to explain exactly what was done. They stayed on site to ensure everything was working properly. Everything was seamless and smooth. What a relief. I mentioned that I found them on Angie's List and they honored the coupon.

I paid $75 for the tune up. After the tech reviewed the unit he recommended adding refrigerant And recommended I change the compressor. The additional refrigerant was $128 for just 2 lbs. no credit given for the $75. I called Ed Helms and was told it could be the hard start relay I have on my unit may need to be replaced with a new one. Cost me $94 for the service call. I then ordered via Amazon an $18 hard start kit and installed it myself. My a/c had been running perfect for weeks.

went really well. technician was knowledgeable, professional polite and competent. Only one hitch.... the compressor is on the roof and there was no ladder to go up to it. so, I guess we will leave it for next time.
