I recently had Giddens AC in Tallahassee complete some work at my house. I was very impressed with their professionalism and honesty. They serviced my AC unit, but at the same time, I had also requested a quote for a full system replacement. Instead of just pushing for the most profitable sale, they suggested that my current system was still in good shape and should last for a good while longer. This saved me unnecessary expenses. The team was transparent and very responsive. The office staff was very friendly, helpful, quickly scheduled my appointment and remained communicative with any changes or process items. It’s rare to find a company that prioritizes honesty and customer satisfaction over simply pushing for the most expensive solution. I will be using Giddens' services again and highly recommend them.

My 30 year old A/C unit took it's last spin April 16, 2026. I asked a man who is in the heating and A/C repair service, who would he call if he could not install his own A/C unit and needed the service completed. Without hesitation, he said, Giddens." He said they are reputable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable, and that I would not be disappointed. I immediately made the call to Giddens. From the initial conversation with Jody to set my appointment with Andrew, Sales, through the install, and unit start up, I was never disappointed. Always on time, had all materials in stock and delivered when they arrived to install. Giddens crew working together through the install reminded me of the gears on a clock, everything was precise. They explained several things to me and answered question as they were completing the installation. I am already content with the A/C unit itself and I think it is going to be most efficient through our HOT summers, and cold winters. THANK YOU GIDDENS!

Giddens has installed 3 units for us in the past few years (one main unit and 2 mini-splits). Their prices were fair, installation was efficient, and technicians were respectful of our property and time. When a couple of issues occurred this summer, we called to schedule appointments for service. Jody was able to walk us through trying to correct the problems ourselves to avoid service charges. You don't find many companies offering to do that. We are glad we chose Giddens for our HVAC needs. We will always recommend Giddens to anyone who has HVAC needs!

Jody was very helpful in getting our AC repair completed, even recommending another company as they were busy and understandably so at this time of year. I let her know that we could wait for a scheduled opening or if one popped up earlier. The outside fuse/breaker is located inside the eletrical panel and Trent (arrived as scheduled and very knowledgeable) showed me how to access the panel for next time without breaking the electric company seal. Fortunately for us that is just what happened as we have unexpected power outages and this time it was only the breaker in the panel and not a capacitor as I was thinking. Thank you Jody and Trent.

Giddens installed a new Daikin FIT heat pump system and they did an awesome job! Andrew and his team are very diligent and did everything to ensure a successful job. Also VERY impressed with the Daikin unit and its 12-year warranty. If you are replacing a unit, do yourself a favor and check Daikin out and let Giddens install it! I use to think the days of excellent customer service didn't exist anymore unless you went to Publix or Chick-Fil-A. It's been a long time since I received pristine customer service like this. Every time I've reached out to the company, I was greeted by this warm and pleasant woman name Jody Davis. She's a natural, very helpful and she always made me feel comfortable. She does her job beyond well. You can tell she takes pride in her job and enjoys helping people. If you know like I know, she's a keeper so make sure to keep her happy because I can tell you that it would be hard to find someone to fill her spot. Even the techs that came out were nice and knowledgeable. From what I experienced, it seems like you all have a nice family oriented team. As long as I'm live in Tallahassee, Giddens Air Conditioning will be the company that receives my business.

From our first phone call to Giddens Air Conditioning Inc, we couldn't have been more impressed. From the start, Office Manager Jody took time to answer questions and provided excellent insights into the issue we were having with heating our home. The contractors that came out to the house were knowledgeable problem solvers who went above and beyond, working effectively and efficiently. In fact, as temperatures dipped, they adjusted their schedule to come out a day early, knowing we were without heat. Giddens Air Conditioning Inc is the BEST group of contractors we have ever worked with and we will absolutely use them in the future for all of our HVAC needs.

I started using Giddens AC when my old AC unit was making an awful noise. They repacked a bearing and it was nice and quite again. I have since used Giddens every 6 months to service the AC & Heater. They are always available in an emergency. When it was time to replace our unit, I again called Giddens. I was given all the information needed to make an intelligent choice. The crew that came out to do the installation were very polite young men, each of them introducing themselves to me. The installation went much quicker than I imagined it would.

Our unit was on it's last leg and we had those old flimsy air ducts under the house that animals had torn up over the years, so we needed everything replaced & ducts moved to the attic. Price wise, Giddens was on par with the other 2 quotes I got. The big difference was the product I was getting for the price. The other 2 quotes replaced the air ducts with the same flimsy ones I had, while Giddens used the hard metal, squared ducts that wouldn't bend or need to be replaced in the future....So it was kinda a no brainer. Plus, Andrew & his crew were awesome! It was a big job but they got things done quickly & we couldn't be happier! I'm also a Realtor so I have since recommended them to 3-4 other customers and they have been great every time. Couldn't recommend them enough.
