About us

GLA Services is Knoxville's premiere handyman/home repair service who is also a licensed electrician. We will bill the job upon completion and payment is expected at that time. We currently accept cash, check and credit cards. We are working to be able to offer financing in the near future. We do offer free estimates however, if you are needing a written estimate for an insurance claim we will charge a service call fee.

Called Mr. Alter for an electrical problem. He was out promptly to do the repair. It was a blown breaker in the garage.  <br /> He arrived early and quickly located my problem. It was a quick repair. Since it was minor I was only charged a minimum charge. <br /> Mr. Alter is a very nice man and very professional in his work. The next time I have an electrical need I will not hesitate to call him again. I give him all A's. It is really nice to see someone show up on time and ready to go to work. I've had too many people show up at the last minute and then only do a so-so job. <br />

He came out and he did exactly what I needed done. He was very friendly, the price was right, however I can't recall what the price was and he put on a few parts that he didn't even charge me for. He was right on time. I'd probably use him again.
