$400
VERY VERY DISSAPOINTING! First response was great for a price of $400 they came cut the grass & treat for weeds, did a great job and stated would be back in 3 weeks to retreat stubborn areas. (Thought the price was a bit much but my son was trying to do a good thing for his dad and Glasgow came on short notice did a good job so it was worth it.) But after 4 weeks THEY NEVER CAME BACK..... At that same time I also discussed having them continue on as our lawn care company they recommended aeration, over seeding, fertilizing and lyme , said they would crunch some numbers and get back to me. I called a minimum of 5 times on 3 separate occasions Sean said he would call back later that day or the next as they were on a job , reasonable ..ok... But he NEVER CALLED BACK. any of the times he said he would. Then Randy called said we have you on the schedule to cut Friday, I told him we never got a call back with any information or price and was then quoted $600! for the services. I had been calling other companies for price quotes when no calls were being returned from Glasgow Landscaping. When they said $600 after 4 other places quoted from $250 to $350 for the same services I thought Glasgow was taking advantage! And because they never came back to retreat the crabgrass and stuff that wasn't completely killed I thought they should credit back some of what we already paid. My son spoke to Randy today requesting a partial credit for the work not completed, he offered to come back and retreat ughhh ! over 4 weeks later! I had already hired another company to do what I wanted them to do and the aeration and new seed has already been done. So partial credit will not be given because they can't complete the work! So I guess that means its our fault they can't retreat it now because another company did the work in a timely manner? I think Randy and Sean are nice people and really wanted to do a good job for us, but maybe there was too much on their plate at the time. so again very disappointed.......... :(
Response from Glasgow Lawn Care
"We have never claimed to be the cheapest, We just produce results with the very best products on the market. We only deal with 1st State Seed (http://1ststateseed.com/) in Peoples Plaza because their products are superior and produces results. It is a shame that you feel you have been ripped off & I can see how you could find someone to do something for less money, but it is not better quality & it does not mean the person with the higher price was ripping you off. We TREATED your whole lawn (which was up to everyone's knees) on AUGUST 21, 2015 ... NOT EVEN 30 DAYS YET. As I said the first day was ... "We can ONLY apply this product once in 30 days & then we could re-treat any stubborn areas after 30 days." We treated AUGUST 21, 2015, We returned 3 days later (AUGUST 24, 2015) INSPECTED the lawn & mowed lawn down to 3.5", edged with a steal blade (about a $200 value) and cleaned up the debris & was paid that day. We returned 3 days after that to re-inspect and spoke with the family. We returned a week later to inspect the lawn again to monitor progress and your son was mowing the lawn and spoke with him. We returned after that and about 90% of the weeds and nutsedge was gone. We were unable to retreat until 9/21. On 9/16 I was told not to return. As for core aeration, lime, starter fertilizer, and seed. Over seeding requires 8 to 9 lbs. of seed per 1000 sq. ft. Your property is 10,000 sq. ft. and needs 90 pounds of seed. First State’s price is $98.00 per 50 lb. bag. Sentinal Blue Mix (which we use). Your lawn needs 2 bags and I would have left 10 lb. for you to spot treat if needed. Starter fertilizer – 50 lb. bag is $35.98 and covers 10,000 sq. ft., sol-u-cal lime 50 lb. bag covers 10,000 & price is $24.98. Total cost for products for your lawn would be $256.96. We would have loaned you a sprinkler system to keep your lawn wet for 30 days. We do not use contractors grade seed which contains rye, undesirable fescues, weed and other inert matter."

I contacted Randy prior to the start of mowing season here in Delaware. He came by and walked the property with me. We went over our concerns and services needed.
Our lawn is mowed on a weekly basis (more if required). The mower blades are always sharp and our lawn is beautifully striped. Trimming and blowing are done and there are no grass trimmings left on the garden beds, walkways or driveway.. Randy always makes a final inspection before the team leaves to be sure everything is perfect. I highly recommend Glasgow Lawncare!!
