They called us to set up the install date of 6/15 but no one showed.  We made repeated calls but only got their answering service.  No calls were returned.  Went to there shop during the day and there was a sticky note on the locked door with a phone number of another merchant in the area.  Checked the BBB website to find they WENT OUT OF BUSINESS.  BBB showed they were in business when we selected them. Reported the incident to local police. <br />

Quote was given, I paid the required deposit, work to happen on 4-30.   Installer commented to my fiance' that the vinyl stops may chip or break.  Someone was to have called me to let me know that.  No one ever called me.  If they had I would have not had the work done since Glass Doctors was not able to replace the vinyl.  The option was to caulk the window in place which may have been acceptable had the caulking been done properly.   My fiance' did agree to the caulking but assumed it would be done well.  It looks absolutely hideous.  I have never seen such a poor caulking job ever!!    We both called the company to ask that this be taken care of.   We were told the installer would be back out.  My fiance' said don't bother sending the same guy since he said that is the best he can do.   Someone else would be sent out.    I called twice to talk to someone about the issue.  I was told that that vinyl stops would have been extra.  I would have gladly paid for the "extra" had I been told since now I have a trashy looking exterior window.   The receptionist transferred me to the owner's voice mail.   He did not return my call so I called two days later.  Receptionist said he wasn't available and to leave a message.  I said why bother if he won't return my calls.   Receptionist said she was able to talk to him and he told her to tell me my fiance' agreed to the caulking and that was the end of it, he would do nothing further!!!   I was appalled at this kind of customer service.    He wouldn't even talk to me.  I have since filed a dispute on my credit card and I will pursue the Better Business Bureau.  I will not accept this kind of service.  These business owners think they can just treat customers this way is so wrong.   My biggest mistake was not reading the YELP reviews first since most do describe this same kind of treatment. <br />

They came as promised, replaced the window (6'X6') and cleaned up to ensure they left the area as they found it. <br /> <br /> Update (06/01/15); The window has since cracked within 30 days of the work being performed. The provider said they would replace the window back in December. It's been about 7 months now and the provider has yet to replace the window and has continued to cancel appointments with me since December and they have a deposit on installing other windows in the home that they have yet do.

Started with Rachel on the phone who was kind and specific. She quoted a firm price over the phone and set up the appointment. The technician, Ed, was friendly and helpful. He arrived right on time, told me how long it would take and proceeded to vacuum up the hundreds of shards of glass, somehow getting every one of them. The replacement window was installed for exactly the price quoted. They came to my house and all I had to do was pay and say thank you. I highly recommend The Glass Doctor. They were great and their price was considerably less than other providers including those who did not offer home service. The window fits perfectly and operates smoothly.

They asked for the measurements of the glass and they were able to come out the same day I had called and did an amazing job replacing the panel. It was so good you couldn't even tell the difference between the old and new glass panel. I was very satisfied with Glass Doctor and would definitely use them again.

Communication with the company was great, they provided a competitive bid, and they completed the work quickly.  The new window is working just fine, too.

The service was priced well, the company sent someone out within a week of our call, and the technician did a good job with the repairs.  In fact, there's no evidence at all that the window had been replaced.

The company responded well when I called for an estimate and had someone out the next day.  The technician showed on time, did a good job with the repairs, and stayed on budget.  The price, however, was still too high.

Everything went well, and I had a good experience.  The scheduling was easy, and they sent someone out the next day which I appreciated since the weather had gotten bad.  Furthermore, the technician arrived on time and did a good job with the repairs.

Everything turned out well.  The technician showed on time, did a good job with the windshield, and explained what he was doing.  He also ground out some rust before installing the new windshield which I appreciated.

Everything went well both times.  The technicians are professional and timely, do good work, and clean up after themselves.  Ultimately, I'd recommend the company to others.
