<p>Gregg was friendly and punctual to do my windshield at my location.   I had him measure and order the house window too.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />He replaced the windshield and I found an air leak, so he came back out and resealed the windshield which seemed to solve the problem.  Later he came out and replaced the house window.   He damaged three pieces of the trim which he suggested I order new form the manufacturer.   I recently received the trim ($60 worth) and replaced the three pieces.   I noticed that Gregg had pinned the window glass in with razor blades in the meantime (sloppy).   </p> <p>A couple days later, I took my Highlander in for service and asked about a rattle which I assumed was related to a loose connector from when the windshield was out.   The Toyota dealer informed me that the windshield was installed incorrectly.  It is too high (too much mastic) and that it may negatively impact the crash worthiness of my vehicle! It amy also cause wind noise. they also noticed that the trim at the base of the windshield was not fitting correctly for the same reason and that the plastic tabs had been broken off.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p> <p>I have tried to contact Gregg yesterday and today and his phone rings with no answer nor voicemail, nor announcement.</p> <p>Depending on whether the glass comes out in one piece or fractures, I am looking between 400 and 1500 to fix this problem (assuming the trim pieces will be? ok with the broken tabs.</p> <p>I spoke to your customer service and they found that A) the search had been done on my wife's account betsylovesbooks@gmail.com and that Glass installers plus was taken out of your searches for non-payment of advertising fees.</p> <p>Can you help me get the windshield fixed?</p> <br />

It was great from start to finish.  I called Monday afternoon and was connected to a voice message.  Gregg, the owner/installer called back within 15 minutes.  We discussed repair or replace and contacting the insurance company.  Gregg gave me the direct number for the insurance company's windshield repair specialists.  Gregg then scheduled the work for the next morning.  He arrived at the appointed time and quickly replaced the damaged windshield. <br />

The scheduling and installation went as expected.  Windshield used was better than OEM quality.  Windshield didn't seal on passenger upper corner and leaked into headliner after going through car wash.  Greg attempted mitigation of leak which failed.  Greg agreed to remove, reuse and replace the same windshield no charge in accordance with his warranty.  A lack of Greg's responsiveness resulted in getting the windshield replaced again by a Ford dealership which cost around $500.  Greg reimbursed me for a little more than half the original $300 cost of the windshield as a good faith gesture.  Based on my experience, I would recommend Greg for any vehicle EXCEPT a Ford Edge. <br />

Greg was fantastic to work with.  He was able to fit me in the next day and completed the windshield replacement quickly.  He came to my work location so I did not lose time from work.  I am very satisfied and would use this company again in the future.

Everything went smoothly. We called around for a couple of quotes and they were the cheapest. So far, we haven't had any issues with the new windshield. <br />

After checking around with other auto glass repair vendors I found Glass Installers Plus on Angie's List and asked for an estimate to replace a cracked outside mirror on my van.  Gregg's estimate was way below what other vendor's quoted, if fact I wondered if we were talking about the same item.  I decided to go ahead and order the mirror from him and see how it goes.  It wasn't a big job so I didn't expect much attention.  Gregg got in touch with me once the mirror arrived and made an appointment to drop by my home to install it since he was in the area.  I live in the south side of the Twin Cities, a considerable distance from his business up north so I was impressed by his willingness to come by.  On the appointment date he came early morning and was done with the whole job before I could get out to greet him.  The cost was exactly what he had quoted before and I was delighted with his prompt, efficient service.  He's a fun fellow to talk with and we got to talking about his business and such and I mentioned that I also had a chip in my van's windshield but didn't want to go to the trouble of filing a claim with my insurance company.  He took a look at it and explained why some chips are more serious than others, leading to cracked windshields.  The chip I knew of wasn't of the serious kind but he did see one I hadn't noticed up high behind the visor mirror that already had a crack in it.  I asked if he would consider fixing it since he was there.  He said he had another job to go to but still took the time repair the chip before leaving.  Again, his price was below anything I had heard from other glass repair outfits and his service was excellent. <br /> Apparently he handles all manner of window glass installation and repairs and has been doing so for over 30 years.  I would gladly hire him again for glass service and recommend him to anyone else in need.  It is obvious why he has high ratings on Angie's List. <br /> Thanks again, Gregg. <br />

The service was excellent. Talking to Gregg on the phone made me feel informed and in control of the process. He outlined all of my options for windshield repair and was able to schedule the replacement at my next convenient opportunity. <br /> He arrived on time and replaced the windshield quickly and professionally. He was very experienced and has been doing windshield repair since 1979. While I certainly would have trusted him to complete the process on his own, I actually ended up watching him complete the process and chatting with him. He's an interesting guy with a lot of character. <br /> I was so pleased with the service that I passed the recommendation on to my AAA agent and will be writing positive reviews here and elsewhere on the web. <br />

Greg was able to squeeze us in the day after I called him.  He arrived earlier than expected and quickly fixed the window at a very reasonable price. This is the 2nd time we have used him and will continue to call him for any glass repair needs in the future. <br />
