They met my expectations

Matt is very personable, professional and attentive to detail. The installers did a a great job of explaining system and keeping area clean. They were very professional.

Vendor arrived when he said he would. Inspected leak with a co-worker, determined the problem (leaking pipe connection to water softener) and repaired. Time from arrival to finish was about twenty minutes. Quick, courteous, and efficient.

The owner responded very promptly. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. Most importantly he actually listened to my needs, answered all questions and never made any attempts to up-sell. I've dealt with many, many contractors and this one is clearly top-notch. The installers he sent were extremely courteous and conscientious. These folks really seem to value their customers and reputation and it shows.

The cost, for the type of system I chose, was below that of other providers I interviewed, but it wasn't exactly apples-to-apples, since each provider had its own brand of equipment. The installers showed up on time, they were very courteous and professional and handled a glitch that came up when it was discovered that the nearby outside electrical outlet was dead. I gave the one B rating because the owner did not tell me in advance about his 3% surcharge for credit card payment, even though he knew I was going to pay that way. After a brief "discussion" over the phone he waived the charge, but his complaining manner left a bad taste in my mouth.

A recent Culligan rental customer of 5 years I did my research and knew the features I was looking for in a new system. Like other reviewers I found $1000 water softener systems costing 2 -3 times that amount. Matthew inquired about my water concerns and responded the next day with very reasonable and detailed estimates. He didn't try to up sell me on a more expensive system or include features I didn't need. I noticed almost immediate results with my water after installation. I recommend his company for your water softener solutions as well as those using Clack control valves.

<p>They left something out of my order. I have called them at least 4 times over 2 years and they kept saying that would send it to me and never did.  Lots of promise but no follow through. I was quite impressed with what they did until they left the parts out. The parts they left out left the system inoperable. Every time I called them was oh yes we will send it right out.  It is the least expensive thing in the whole order, a distributor tube that was $28 in the $249 order.  The rest of the order as fine but if you can use anything else they sent you because the one piece is missing. That is not even what bothered me, the fact that he would say he would send it out the next day and he wouldn't.  Prices are wonderful, service is good, everything was great until they said they would do something but didn't do it. </p>

Highly professional individuals, from the time we called and ordered through installation.  Was very pleased with the price, service and quality of workmanship.  Highly recommend this company for water conditioner installation, as well as Fleck Water Conditioners which we selected after lengthy research. <br />

<p>I initially called another company who offered a free checkout of my water softener.  But, they wanted to charge $1500 for a new system or $800 to rebuild my current system.  Both prices seemed outrageous (and they were).</p> <p><br /></p> <p>I asked them to provide cross-linked resin and they also gave a 5 year warranty for the controller (instead of rebuilding it).  Also, if you redo your system and it has been several (10+) years since you installed or maintained the system, make sure the filter baskets and tube inside the resin tank are replaced as well.  They are cheap plastic and if they fail, you can end up with resin all in your house.  They said they have new basic metered systems for $600 new (a lot better than $1500).</p> <p><br /></p> <p>They were no-nonsense, got the job done and gave me a water test kit to make sure the water stays softened.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>There are a bunch of crooks in this business as stated elsewhere.  Some of which have A ratings on this service so be careful.  These guys are in business for the long haul and are honest, straightforward people.</p> <br />

With lots of crooks in this business I took my time doing research. I found guys selling $1000 systems for $3500. <br />  I also found flakes who never call back. <br /> Well I found Mathew at Glass Water Systems. He told the truth about my system on what needed replacing and what didn?t. <br /> I now have a new system that works so much better than what we had and didn?t break the bank. We except many years us use out of it. <br />   <br /> Matt is a straight shooter who you can trust. <br />

It was a great experience21 While reading a review of a named brand softener on a big box store site the name Fleck was mentioned as a quality water softener! It took a little searching to find someone who sold and installed this softener, which has a 10 year warranty!! Once I found Glass Water Systems, I checked them out on Angie's List and loved what I saw. I called them, spoke with Matthew and scheduled an appointment. We had sad service with another person and the unit was leaking salt on the floor of the garage. Instructions were clear and the unit was reasonably priced plus the guarantee. Please use Glass Water Systems, quality is what they offer <br />

Put in cheap unit, it does not work as well as previous one. On call back, he tested water and said it was soft, looked bothered that I called, and left quickly. Did not offer any reason why it is not working as well. <br />

The price and service was good. They were punctual and were responsive to my inquiries after the service about the bags of salt I should have received.
