They were very good. The price was good. The work was very good. I had no problems getting the doors put in, or buying the doors. My doors had to be specially made because the way my house is, it wasn't the average door seal. The workers were very good, it was three of them I think. Nothing stuck out, just average. I would use them again.

I was very disappointed. I spoke to William on the phone but unfortunately the person that came out to actually do the work was unreliable and performed messy work. Maybe I was unlucky to get another person. They were late arriving and then asked to take my window somewhere else to work on the glass. I said ok but was very clear I needed to leave several hours later to pick up my kids and was told no problem he would be back in plenty of time. The person did not return even an hour after what was promised. I tried calling and got no return call. I eventually had to leave my house with a missing window which did not seem safe to me. When he returned hours later there were muffled apologies. He seemed like a nice guy but no effort at customer service. Then he began working on other cracked glass at my house. After he left I looked closely at the work and the transom window glass replaced is very messy with glue or caulk messily left on edges. Very disappointed. It is hard to get someone to do this type of work done and Boston was recommend by several I know but maybe I just got unlucky that William didn't actually do the work at my house.

Excellent same day service. William repaired both the window and screen and re-installed everything on the same day. I was so pleasantly surprised! He was pleasant and very knowledgeable about the rest of the windows in my home and recommended I examine my warranty to get them repaired.

Great staff, honest and very hands on. Work is done by owner of the company and his staff (including his son). This is the old fashioned family run company that one reads about in newspapers. Excellent work.

GREAT price and very fast service.  Came out the same day I called for an appointment (bad weather and Mr. Boston prioritized my repair).  Price well below three other estimates.  <br />

Initial estimate was quick and the order received quickly. I was delayed on the install as I was out of the country, but Boston was eager to get them installed. They were installed and are working fine. Much cheaper than replacing the entire window in each case, which was the only option provided by several other vendors. If you are looking for someone who will complete the specific task that you are interested in without the huge "you must do the full window - and all of them - upsell", then Boston is a good option for you. <br />

William was great to work with! After my neighbor boarded the door for me, I called him about 9:00 p.m. and he came out the next morning to assess the situation. Since my door was so old I decided to go with a new sliding glass door. He had to order the door which took a few days. He sent a tech out to replace the door and Jimmy did a wonderful job installing it. There were such a pleasure to work with and it made the stress of the break in a little easier to deal with.

I met with William Boston and got an estimate to replace glass with compromised insulation, seals, gaskets and  to make it possible to open the windows.  He boasted  he could do it all. <br /> He sent his man  who could barely speak English.  Glass was replaced and that was it. <br /> Seals are hanging off the windows and they make a bad noise when I try to open and some do not open at all.  I called and wrote repeatedly. I finally wrote and asked if he had any intention of responding.  No answer. <br /> The no response was the most intolerable aspect to this. <br />   <br /> Happy to provide pictures. <br />

William Boston saved us from a rough situation. We have a house that is going to go on the market in just over a week, and two upper panes of one of our custom Marvin windows exploded. I talked to the people at Marvin, who told me that it would take a minimum of two weeks and probably longer for them to repair the window. The company they recommended also would not have been able to get out to our house for several days. Enter William Boston. He came out the same day to assess the window. He took it with him to his shop, and he was back the same day. Problem solved quickly, well, and affordably. Thank you, William! <br />

The entire process went exceptionally well.   I was impressed with not only the attention to detail <br />  (after the initial measurements were done by a company employee, the measurements were so close to "standard" size that the owner came back to double-check the initial measurements and confirmed that my glass panel was measured correctly and would be a "custom" size) but also the updates I received throughout the process. <br />

After a botched job with another window company, I am very glad that I finally found BWD. <br /> Mr. William, the owner, came out to do an estimate very promptly after I called him, and it was apparent from the getgo that he is a professional and knows exactly what he's doing. He is also very friendly and nice to deal with, and quoted a very reasonable price. He was able to get the measurements down correctly and quickly, whereas the other company that botched the job struggled for over half an hour just to get down the measurements. <br /> They fabricate the glass themselves (which is important if you want a fast turnaround time), and so they were able to send out an employee the very next day to install the glass. Very impressed with the employee as well, he did a neat and clean job and was able to install the new glass without any problemas whatsoever. All in all it took maybe 30 minutes. This compared to the other company that after not showing up for a week, finally came out and after two hours of unsuccessfully struggling to install one window actually broke the glass they brought and then tried to postpone my appointment by another 3 days. <br /> Thanks for the great work BWD, I will definitely use you again in the future. <br /> <br /> <br />

Went well. He checked out the door and told me what to do to fix on my own for no fee. <br />

We are selling our home and the buyer's inspection said that our windows would not hold open. I called William Boston and he was very helpful on the phone and even though he was very busy he asked one of his workers to come out to the house to see what needed to be done. His evaluation was that when the windows were cleaned they were not replaced properly. He took each window out and realigned them so that now they work well and the windows stay in place when opened. I want to thank him for his responsiveness and his ability to do the necessary repairs. <br />

Very pleasant on the phone and easy to contract via estimate by email.  The repairman was very polite and courteous and came within hours of my call.  Less than three hours later at 6:45 pm that very evening, he returned with my new window.  I was not expecting him until the next day, but being one of the coldest nights in 20 years, I was very appreciative of their sense of urgency and response to my needs.  Thank you Mr. Boston!  We will be calling you again!
