It went well, the only thing was that bottom of the tub was to be slip proof and its not, I felt if for the first two week and now it gone.

Not a good experience. My bathtub looked dull and had some chips so I found Glaze Tub on Angie's list. I paid for the Tub Glazing deal on line. When Sam from Glaze Tub came out he told me it would cost me an additional $175 to have my Tub glazed, I wasn't happy, but I agreed to pay him. I had nice sliding doors on my shower, which he took off to do the job. It took almost 3 days before I could use the shower and the smell of the glazing was over powering. On top of that, "Sam" knocked some tiles out and they broke. I could not find the exact color, so he replaced them with tan tiling (my original tiles are pink). Within days of the job being finished half the wall of tiles fell off! When I called him about it, he said he could replace my whole shower for $2500. I could not afford this price, so I was left with a hole in the wall that is still there. On top of that, he never put my shower doors back on and I have the tracks still on the tub and have to use a shower curtain. I decided to investigate this company and found out the guy was not licensed and his name is not same. It is Mohammad. I became frightened at this point and never contacted him again! My shower is a complete mess and their is a huge hole in the wall that I have to cover with plastic to keep from dripping down into the wall to the basement. I am an older woman and live by myself. I do not want to have a problem from this man! To get my shower fixed is going to cost at least $2000, which I cannot afford. Please do not use this person!

Not as well as I excited, setting up the appointment at the beginning was very hard. Finally got them out, overall the tub is pretty good but I have cracking around the area where the water goes down but I haven not call them back. It was not a great experience and I wouldn’t call them again. the tub looks good except I have cracking in one area there. I don't think the professionalism is not good. His cost was good cost.

Good results. Of course, there are add-ons to the coupon offered price of $279. If your tub was previously glaze, there are more charges to strip it. If there are any blemishes on your tub that you'd rather not have show, there are charges for that and there are probably other charges that may be added. Overall, I thought it would cost me $279, instead it cost $400, but as I stated, results were good.

"Sorry for the confusion to additional costs. Angie's does make the ads up knowing that there may need additional services, but that is their entire premise of a Big Deal. The sort of "bells and whistles" I refer to are sometimes dependent on the current condition of the tub... was it refinished prior? Then it needs a strip...extensive fill-in? It turned out really well, they just took a little finishing off the cabinet but I can not downgrade them for that because I never called to ask them to take care of that. It has been refinished before so they had to charge me to take that off. They came quickly enough.

I was under the assumption that a contract would be signed after a review of what needed to be done. There was no contract and no list of the cost of various services. I expected additional cost because of the repair that needed to be done, but there was no way to verify that the cost was fair. Also, all the masking was left in place for us to remove and the caulking was not replace, nor was the hardware removed from the tub. The resurfacing is mostly fine except a few places feel gritty like fine sand on the surface. No idea if the job will hold up, since I received no contract, no warranty as far as I know. Total cost was $469 for a job that was supposed to be $299.
