Number of employees vary depending on size of job. I sub-contract electrical, HVAC, siding and plumbing work. An estimate is given initially, once job is accepted an invoice/contract will be drawn and payments are made 1/2 of total up front, 1/4 in middle of job and 1/4 at completion of job. Aziz and the team was very professional they had the right insurance which the building needed and they were very thorough in every work they did .The kitchen cabinets paiting was a tuff job because of the existing texture but Aziz did a perfect job .The accent wall pattern which we wanted was very time consuming but the team did an amazing work .The pricing was very reasonable and the team is equipped to do any work in the house .

Easy to work with, he clearly knew what he was doing and has a lot of experience. The whole crew was generally upbeat and courteous. They were on time and professional and even went above and beyond my expectations in some areas. I really appreciated that. <br /> My only complaint was the cleanup. It was supposed to be completely ready for painting, but there was still quite a bit of sanding that needed to be done. And I wish I had prepped better before work began to avoid such a mess. <br /> Also, I was expecting to pay with credit card (as advertised) but they informed me the day that work was to begin that they couldn't accept credit cards right now. So that required some last minute shuffling that cost me extra finance charges. <br /> Overall I thought they did a great job. I recommend them but suggest going over their work carefully before they pack up and leave. <br />

It went very well. It was a pleasure working with Aziz and his team. There was a delay from my side in choosing the flooring. He gladly suspended the project and restarted as soon as I got my side done. Although his pricing was slightly higher than others I had taken quotation from, I chose Aziz as I felt he was more in control of his projects and most importantly he talks less and gets more things done :-) <br /> I will definitely work with him in future. As a matter of fact, he already has another project to be done for me. Reviews coming for that ... <br />

I called Gleason to request an estimate on doing drywall and woodwork in a small bedroom in my house. I left a message and Darrell returned my call the same day. He was very pleasant and courteous on the phone and we set up an appointment for them to come look at the room two days later. Aziz showed up right on time to look at the room. He was also very pleasant to deal with, and he gave me a very honest assessment of the situation, pointing out that based on the current state of the walls (paneling over wallpaper over plaster) he was guessing that taking down the paneling might be opening a can of worms that I could be sorry we opened. I was really appreciative of the fact that Aziz seemed more concerned with giving me the best advice than he was with getting the job! I would definitely call Gleason again if and when I need similar work done in my house. Thanks guys!

Aziz and his team were wonderful to work with - we are so happy with the results. They were timely and walked me through everything they would do in the apartment. The work was very well done. I had a couple of suggestions to make some walls better after the work was done, and Aziz came in the next day to take care of my concerns. He and his team went above and beyond in being responsive and professional. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

I am so happy with the work Gleason Investments performed at my home. First and foremost, Darnell (nicknamed "Aziz") and his crew did an outstanding job repairing the sheetrock in my ceilings after I had some extensive electrical work done in my condo in Hoboken. I asked Aziz to make it look like "nothing ever happened", and that's exactly what he did. My ceilings are smooth and look better than ever. The quality of Aziz's work is outstanding, and I'm so glad I had the good sense to hire him. It's also worth noting that Aziz is an extremely nice guy, and a true pleasure to work with. <br /> As a first time homeowner, hiring a contractor can be a nerve wracking process. Not so with Aziz and Gleason Investments: <br /> <br /> 1. Aziz and his crew were extremely professional, and respectful of my home and neighbors. They worked quietly, and thoroughly cleaned up after completion. <br /> 2. Aziz took the time to explain the project to me, and provided me with an accurate estimate therefor. He did not "nickle and dime" me, and even went out of his way to fix small, preexisting imperfections in my ceiling free of charge. Simply stated, I got more than my money's worth. <br /> 3. Aziz made sure I reviewed his work, and stated numerous times that he would not leave until I was happy with the job. Aziz and his crew replaced the drywall and painted the ceiling. They did a great job!!! I will definitely be calling them for future work around the house. Aziz always answers his phone which is not a common thing with contractors today which I very much respected. <br />

Experience was overall very good. We had Gleansons come in to provide a quote. They were able to schedule the job quickly and were fair and flexible in working with us and our budget. The work itself was quality work and done without any fuse. Great experience. <br />

EXCELLENT. We were under the gun, with 50+ guests arriving in a few days for an event. We'd gutted the kitchen and built a timetable that enabled the project to be finished in ample time for us to complete the cooking. We needed Darnell and his team to stick to that timetable and they came through with shining colors! Excellent work, minimal dust, and even some impressive improvisation along the way. The walls in our kitchen are neither plumb nor level but the new cabinets were. That creates a few challenges that Darnell and his team resolved. Long and the short of it is that I've been working with skilled laborers for over 40 years and this crew is as good as it gets! <br />

I had water damage and need new drywall in ceiling and wall and paint. Let me begin by saying Aziz and his crew are the nicest contractors I have ever dealt with. He was always very responsive, on time and extremely pleasant. There were some missed spots and areas that needed correction but as he said "im not leaving until you are completely satisfied." He was true to his word and when I called him to say I saw some missed spots he came right back. This is really the first time that Ive had a contractor come back to correct his work after they have been paid! They usually say they will and then dont show up!

Overall satisfied with the work. <br /> Drywall/Paint work was good. They purchased all the material needed for the work. Pricing was based on Labor/Material. <br /> Bathroom tiles near vanity/mirror/behind toilet: The finish could have been a little better but the space was a bit cramped so I can understand. <br /> They helped fix a few additional things that were not in our agreement for free. For example, towards the end of the contracted work we noticed water leaking from another bathroom tub. Aziz applied some grout free of charge. A few days later, we realized that the water leak issue in the tub wasn't fixed so we called Aziz and he came over within a day or two and refinished the tiles. We have not noticed any leaks since then. Aziz also installed a few laminate tiles in the closet free of charge. <br /> He was prompt in responding to my request for a quote and was available to start work within a short period. Work was completed over 3 days (as per plan). He was also responsive for small followup work that we needed.

Aziz came and provided a reasonable estimate and was able to start within a few days. He purchased all the supplies and gave me the receipts for reimbursements. He keeps a tight ship with his crew and hires people he can trust which is key to ensuring continuity and completion of a job. He is proactive in making sure everything is in tip top shape and gives blunt orders to his employees if they do not pay attention to detail. He has good oversight of his crew and did a great job fixing the mishaps the last guy left behind. I will be using him for my upcoming projects.

Professionalism, punctuality, reasonable and most important quality all around. Without boring you every detail he took a shell of a bathroom and turned it into something absolutely remarkable. <br /> The work was so well done that since I've contracted Aziz for three additional jobs. Including a basement bathroom, replacing all the pipes under the house and replacing exterior doors and frames. Aziz came over very promptly after I called to take a look at the project and give a quote. He then offered to pick up the tiles at Home Depot himself that day. He and his son came over the next morning and completed the project very quickly. Both were incredibly polite throughout, and even made sure to clean after themselves thoroughly. <br /> I had a very positive experience working with them and will be using them on any future home improvement projects.
