Here is my text history with Rob (Owner) so you can form your own opinion. He cited he was too busy to finish the job which was unacceptable in my opinion, and likely your opinion as well. Eventually he stopped answering my texts and calls (had to start calling from a different number first and then my number to get him to answer the phone). Told me the material was on the truck the week before he told me he was too busy and that he'll "let me know" or for me to "find another plumber". Waited from July until September for him to get some time before giving up on him. Ended up calling Cooper HVAC from Manchester, MD (410-329-6200) and had it installed within a week. Since I did 2 out of 3 payments ($1800/$2700) and the first phase was disable, drain and removal, then second phase was to install 2x copper pipe extensions to push out the copper through the new framing...he made off like a bandit as far as I could tell. I got ripped off...don't be like me. (443) 271-7276 Good morning We can take a look at it this week.... except for tomorrow Friday sounds good 9-11 Thank you Friday, April 14, 2017 10:03 AM (443) 271-7276 Hey Im stuck in Essex on this job that started at 6am... They were on time for both days they came. Worked quickly and with one exception performed very well. The exception was I found one of the radiators leaking the following day. I called they and they sent a plumber out and fixed it the following day.

They did a good job and the next day they replaced the water heater. I need the receipt and now I cannot get in contact with them. I called and text them several times and still have not heard anything from them. We talked about this about 6-7 weeks ago and I still not received a receipt.

Cut two large openings. Said it must be leaking tub drain, but was not certain. Charged about 150% more ($222 more) than average mid-range plumbers in the area for the job, which took 15 minutes. Comparison via Homewyse.com, which I have found to be accurate.

Robert Boccia, the owner of the company, came to my rescue within about an hour of when I called. A rental property had a complete blockage in the waste line. He rearranged his schedule so they could do the line replacement the next day. His crew began working around 9am. The waste lines for all the other houses in the neighborhood line up with the front bedroom window. That also lined up with where waste water lines were found in the house. The crew worked hard to minimize damage to the tree that my late father had planted and loved. When, after several attempts, the waste line couldn't be found, calls were made to the City offices to determine where the line actually was. While time and effort could have been saved by calling ahead, in most cases, it wouldn't have been necessary because waste lines are typically buried in a predictable fashion. My house proved to be the exception. Finding out where the waste line was actually located turned out to be good news and bad news. Instead of being to the left of the walkway to the house, it was on the right UNDER a concrete parking pad. This significantly changed the scope of the job. Again, the crew found a solution that minimized damage: instead of breaking up the entire parking pad to dig out the old line, they took out the rightmost portion of the pad, which, happily, came away cleanly, and dug a trench to the right of the clogged/collapsed portion of the line. They found the waste line close to the house, attached new pipes and then ran a new line to the right of the old line, essentially doing a bypass. I had previously spoken to another company about my waste line problem, and they didn't know their right hand from their left. I'm so glad I called Glenoak Plumbing to do this job. It needed to be done immediately and correctly. It was.

The initial job went fairly well. The plumber arrived on time and gave us a quote to install an outdoor spigot, which he was able to install the same day. However, four months later, I discovered that the water line had burst during the winter. I called the plumber twice over a two week period and left voicemails requesting he come back and fix it, but received no response.

My 1952 house was not equipped with a vent, nor proper traps for either the washing machine or sink. There were sewer gases backing up on occasion, into the sink area, which is of course unpleasant.

Robert installed the traps, then came back to add the vent to the outside of the house. He did not have to go through the attic and roof. The end result looks like it was built with the house, and blends in well with the exterior.

He responds to my need for help either instantly or within 24 hours, is professional and knows his business. Anyone he hires is up to his standards, and those are very high. Having a reliable and qualified plumber is key to survival, and for that need, I go to Robert!!

Work: The owner is very professional and informative. Quality is good. No complains there.
Price: The owner is a talker!!! he tells you how difficult everything is in order to charge you more. I paid $1375 for what it turns out to be only about 2 hours of work! He charged me $675 for labor ONLY of installing sink and faucet, that is a ripe off! BE WARE of the jacked up price he is given you!! My sink was a drop in sink, with simple installation, and home depot installed my faucet for $100 service call before, so it is definitely not worth $675 just for labor to install those two items.
WAY OVERPRICED!
Gleanoak plumbing was very professional and responded to the call and promptly showed up at the appointed time as a service call to clean out a clogged kitchen sink. We agreed upon the price of $275, which is steep, but this needed to be done and he seemed reputable - indeed he was both professional and prompt.
During the job, Gleanoak Plumbing was asked to look at the upstairs sink that I had shut off the hot water as there was a slow drip underneath the sink. He called me and stated that the nut was cracked and that was why it was dripping. If he wanted me to take care of it, he could, but the total cost of the job would sky-rocket to $700. This is price-gouging at it's finest. He was at our home for a total of 1h30 and charged a heckuva lot for a routine job.
Would NOT recommend this plumber on the basis of price-gouging.
